ottima posizione, ottima colazione. Camera certamente ampia e pulita, arredamenti un po' datati non tanto nello stile, ma che, sebbene ben tenuti, mostrano l'età che hanno. Staff gentilissimo e disponibile.

alcuni dettagli (stipiti, rubinetteria, sanitari...) mostrano il tempo che hanno.

An amazing hotel in the best location in Napoli. A real treat, especially the suites. Everything was absolutely fantastic.

Not worth 5star status and for the price we paid. , here is why. Staff not all services oriented, when asking questions about tours etc, not friendly or welcoming. Arrogant. We had problems with the key card, could not open door, they sent my husband back and forth before resetting the card. Breakfast was moved from venue, desk just did not think it was important to inform guests or put up appropriate signs. Did not even apologies for the inconvenience when we discovered breakfast was not at the usual place. Bed linen was not comfortable at all, it had just a cover sheet. The cleaning of our room was not given proper attention,no fesh sheets. again. No decent coffee in the room. Had to pay for it. Noise at night due to promenade. The shutter malfunctioned, kept me out of sleep. Breakfast was mediocre and trust me, we travel the world. Unfriendly and room not comfortable at all. My worst 5 star experience and I chose This hotel to celebrate my birthday there. Pictures are misleading.

Gorgeous hotel and awesome staff. The room is beautiful and clean and equipped with technology that made turning lights on/off and window open/closed very easy. The view is even better in person! Highly recommend!

The bathrooms, although beautiful and decked out in green marble seem a bit old and could use some renovation - perhaps cleaning the marble and providing a fresh face to it. Also could used a shower curtain to keep warm in the shower since without one it would be a bit drafty and water would go everywhere. Could also use more towels. Otherwise the place is wonderful!

Great location and great views from the room. We booked 2 rooms. Both were great. Room size was excellent and very neat and cozy

No irons available. They cud not supply one. Also room Internet was not very good. We booked 2 rooms. One room was bare minimal WiFi. The other didn't work at all. We had to continually ask fir for water. Water was not freely provided for drinking.

A 5* hotel in fact. Classy and elegant.

Unfortunately, no balcony furniture.

Great location; we had a room with the view of the sea and Vesuvius; several good restaurants near the hotel; needed 10-15 minutes walk to Chiaia. An old charming hotel. We liked it very much and will be our choice on our next visit.

every thing they are in the same level since 1908 , the view from the room is the best in Napoli , the hotel staff amazing, very clean very comfy, if you are visiting Napoli I will recommend Excelsior for sure

That you need to request changing the sheets.. I don’t think you need to request such a thing.. should be done ..

- The hotel sits in the waterfront, in a very convenient location to explore Naples. - Definitely worth it to pay the few more euros that a sea view room costs. You will get a breathtaking view of Vesubio across the bay.

- Clearly needs to have some money invested in. - Awful in-room wifi (it was better in common areas).

During our stay there was a wedding and a conference which took over leaving nowhere to sit outside of our room.

worn out. some will say it is a “touch of history”, I say - owners do not want to spend a dime for new bedding, fixtures or renovation. in rooms - no internet connection. it drops suddenly, right after you log-in.

excellent base for exploring Naples, views from our junior suite and from roof terrace were splendid

classic architecture, high ceilings, room felt large. View from balcony of sea was amazing. Staff was friendly and helpful.

breakfast was pretty expensive and not really special. at that price there should at least be champagne available. WIFI was not good, was weak and kept losing connection. Everything else was wonderful.

The room and hotel is very luxurious with a lot of eating options nearby. We came here for new years eve and the terrace was a great place to see the city light up with fireworks.

We came for breakfast quite late (our fault) and there was not much hot food left (understandable). The coffee is not that great.
