Great property! Easy access to the beach and the marina/boat launch. Beautiful views from the deck and the covered patio is perfect for when the weather isn’t quite as good.

The shower/tub downstairs never got hot water, which was a little tough with kids (there are two other showers that got hot)and there are no blinds on the kids bedroom windows (nothing that would keep us from renting again). The furnishings are comfortable and clean, without being fussy. The instructions are clear. We love that there is enough space for a large group to spread out without feeling disconnected from each other. A few things we noticed were that there were no silicone or rubber spatulas in the kitchen, which explains why most of the nonstick pans are scratched. The non-primary bathroom shower did not get hot - most of our group experienced a cold shower, but the upstairs shower and the primary bedroom shower both seemed to get hot enough. It would be great to have a bit of supplies like foil, saran, etc. available - but Tillamook is a quick drive away and we just purchased our own. None of these items were pressing enough to bother texting the caretaker, just good to know before you get there or items that they may want to check out for their guests. One thing that was a little alarming that you should watch out for is that there is no stop sign at the top of the hill when you approach the highway. One of our group was driving at night and assumed that meant that there would be a stop sign for the oncoming highway traffic - that was a bit scary. I would suggest that the Happy Camp community put a stop sign at that intersection to avoid an accident. All in all we love Family Tides and hope to continue to come back. Thank you!

This is a beautiful house and very comfortable for our large family. Very clean and well furnished. A short walk to the beach and not too far from Tillamook for picking up stuff we forgot to bring.

Our group of “mature” women had a great time at Happy Camp Hideaway. Our week there was pretty low-key and gave us a chance to relax and reconnect with one another while enjoying parts of the Oregon coast. The location was convenient for day trips north, south, or east. We opted to use the room with the Murphy bed and not use the bunk room and that worked well for our group. Everyone commented that the beds were very comfortable, and the house was well stocked with towels, shampoo, etc. The kitchen had plenty of cookware for our cooking needs. When viewing this property you might want to consider the amount of stairs needed to climb when thinking about luggage and groceries.

The home and our stay was fantastic! Wonderful location, beautiful views, clean living and sleeping areas, nice hot tub and grill. Our large family all thoroughly enjoyed every minute here! We accidentally got locked out once, but a quick call to Sarah and she had someone come by with a key to let us into the house. They were so kind and even brought little chocolates for us because we waited a couple minutes for them. I couldn't recommend this property enough 🤗

Our family of nine was very comfortable in the house. Terrific view from the living room of the bay and ocean. Loved watching the pelicans swoop and dive for fish. Plenty for the kids to do with the beach a five minute walk away. Took excursions to the Oceanside beach and to the Tillamook Cheese factory. Fun time.

The weather during our stay was all over the place and this house was perfect for every one of them. The views, the fireplace, the hot tub, all of them were so appreciated. We would definitely come back.

Kids enjoyed their own space, in the bunkroom (only request, maybe some curtains in this room. Nobody needs the nonsense of kids waking up so early on vacation. Haha) Hot tub was also a hit for them. Be prepared for your legs to get a work out, especially while unloading all of your stuff to take up. If you have older family members or older fur babies who have arthritis or can't climb stairs well, this may not be the best rental for your group. That said, most homes in this area DO have a lot of stairs. We 1000% would rent this property again. Zero complaints from our group. If you're questioning renting this property...stop...just book it!
