It was clean and very close to town so we could walk everywhere.

We had an amazing week stay at Seaside Vista! The location can't be beat and the screened porch is a must-see! We brought our 2 daughters, ages 9 and 6, they stayed in the bunk room and loved it. Every day we would walk to Gallows Point mini mart/gift shop for coffee and after enjoying the morning porch view would take off for the day in our rental jeep to one of the many unbelievable beaches St John has to offer! Michael's guide to the island was so helpful, without it we wouldn't have known to make Waterlemon Cay a definite stopping point and wouldn't have seen all the sea turtles! We also wouldn't have known about the sandwich shops to call ahead for pickup on our way to the beach! After our day at the beach we would return, shower, happy hour on the porch again and then walk 5 minutes into town to one of the many great restaurants. Everything about this vacation was wonderful and Michael was a wonderful host. The only thing I didn't realize was the washing machine and dryer are located outside down a few stairs. It turns out we didn't need them for ourselves anyway, but this I wasn't aware of before we got there! We would definitely stay again in this seaside cottage and hope to return!

We had the BEST time on St John!!! Seaside Vista has the most amazing views from the screen porch, we spent all our time there! Its also such a great spot, loved being able to walk to all the restaurants and shopping. Micheal was very helpful and gave us lots of information about the island before hand! We had our 2 grown kids, 20 and 17 and they were very comfortable in the bunk beds! We had a great family trip and cant wait to come back!!

We recently spent a week at Seaside Vista Villa. The accommodations were exactly as described and shown on the website -- in fact they were better than the photos showed. The location is key -- you are no more than a 5 minute walk to town and about a 15 minute drive to the nearest North Shore beaches. Michael and Leslie were prompt and thorough with their communications. The villa is well thought out ad has just about everything one would need to enjoy their stay. It's clearly marked on the list of amenities, but you don't have an actual oven. You do have a toaster oven, microwave and stove top for any type of cooking or reheating you might need. A full-size fridge and a washer/dryer below the cottage. It's small but mighty and the screened in porch is truly wonderful. It can be enjoyed rain or shine as we discovered. There are two bedrooms, although we only utilized the main bedroom. Both bedrooms share the bathroom, but the 2nd bedroom (which has bunk beds) was locked during our stay. There is also a parking space for one vehicle -- we had a 4-door jeep and although you do have to drop passengers off before turning into the spot, it was easy to use and came in very handy as parking is difficult if not impossible in Cruz Bay. We have stayed all over STJ and this rental ranked at the very top of our stays. We loved Seaside Vista and wouldn't hesitate to stay again!

We absolutely loved Seaside Vista. This was our fourth time to St. John. We usually have stayed in a house up high and have had to drive everywhere. Seaside Vista's close location to downtown was very convenient. We were able to walk to restaurants and shops. The screen porch was our favorite part! The views were incredible. Sunsets are amazing. Michael K was a great property owner to work with. He communicated frequently and gave us great tips. With Hurricane Tammy nearby, he kept us informed with the status of the ferries. We ended up leaving a day early because the ferries were closing. We would have had no idea about that if it weren't for him! Very thoughtful. It was nice to have beach chairs, noodles and a cooler provided. Overall it was a cute little place with a great view. I would highly recommend and stay here again. St. John is our favorite!! Thanks again for an amazing trip!

This was our second stay at this lovely villa and it almost feels like “ours”! The screened-in porch is the absolute perfect addition and where we spent most evenings. The villa is close to town so we walked to dinner every night! Sunset vista comes with every possible amenity and Michael and Leslie are perfect hosts! Thank you for the privilege of staying! We will definitely be back!

The Seaside Vista offered an ideal getaway home with gorgeous ocean views on a screened in porch as well as clean & comfortable amenities just walking distance from some of St. John’s best restaurants & shops. The bed was crisp & comfy, the shower bright & refreshing, and the on site washer & dryer a plus. We’d come back every month if we could!

My husband and I had the most incredible stay for our anniversary at Seaside Vista Villa. Mike was the best host we’ve encountered with VRBO. Great, clear communication. Wonderful suggestions for dining and Varlack for our jeep rental. The pictures posted are amazing, but the villa is even better in person. The best location for walking into Cruz Bay! We loved our stay at this villa in St. John! It was everything we could have asked for, Beautiful place with all the amenities we needed for our stay. It was the perfect place to celebrate our 40th anniversary. We especially loved the screen porch overlooking the sea and most of all, gorgeous sunsets. Thank you to Michael, our host for all your help and suggestions. We highly recommend this adorable villa!

I really am torn. I want to leave a terrible review so that no one else will know about this sweet treasure. But, I can’t possibly do that to Michael! What a wonderful place! The villa was so comfortable with every possible thing you could need! The perfect location overlooking the water with the best sunset views! Within walking distance to town and some fantastic restaurants! Michael was a great host! Very very informative and responsive! We are so sad to leave but are already planning our next trip! Cute well located cottage with fantastic sunset views. “Jack and Jill” layout of house was perfect for us. Room for mom but privacy for us. And host Mike is super nice!

The cottage is lovely. The screened porch is unbelievably wonderful. The ocean is just below the cottage. Every night we sat and watched the sunset. There is a hill you need to walk up from downtown, but we didn't have a problem, and it allowed me to eat more ice cream! The king size bed is lovely as are the sheets and towels. This was our 3rd St John visit, there will be more!!

This villa is in a perfect location, walking distance to all the shops and restaurants in Cruz Bay. The veranda is perfect for your morning coffee overlooking the bay. Everything you need for a perfect vacation.

My two sisters and I stayed at Seaside Vista from 11/1-11/8 and truly enjoyed our stay there. It was a five minute walk to town, which was perfect for dining and shopping. Our favorite place was the screened in porch listening to the waves crash into the shore. The water was so clear on a calm day. We spent a majority of our time out there drinking coffee, eating, reading a book, or just winding down. The lawn chairs, pool noodles, and cooler was a plus when going to the beaches. We used the kitchen for breakfast mainly. The place cooled off quickly after a long day at the beach. We definitely would stay at this place again. Thank you for a great week!!

We stayed in Seaside Vista October 22-29 2022. The villa was clean, comfortable, and in a excellent location. We especially enjoyed the screened patio - we enjoyed some of the best views on the island from there. The location is fantastic - we were easy walking distance from everything in Cruz Bay. Staying at Seaside Vista is a great way to enjoy the paradise of St John!

We loved the view. The space is small, but adequate for 2 people. Absolutely loved the screened in porch! Got to see the peacocks every morning just walking up the road. It is just a short walk to almost everything. We did rent a jeep and enjoyed driving around the island. Parking is very tight, as described.

My wife and I had an amazing experience and stay at the Seaside Vista in St. John. Our villa was perfect... very clean, great location to town, and the sunset from the villa's porch was incredible! We have already said that we will be going back to St. John and when we do, we plan to stay at the Seaside Vista again.

We just got back from a week stay at SeaSide Vista. Everything was perfect. Micheal was very helpful and provided all information for a great trip. He responded immediately when we had questions when we were there. Very easy check in and check out. The views are amazing, both in the morning and the sunsets in the evening. It was very private and felt secluded but also so close to town. We loved that we could walk to everything. Only a short walk to Cruz Bay to enjoy all the bars and restaurants. Hiked to Honeymoon beach, the trailhead is only a half mile from the house. We did not cook one single meal as the restaurants are so close and so many to chose from. We had great snorkeling at the beach right by the house, it felt like our own private beach. We only rented a car one day to drive to the other side of the island as we love Rams Head trail and Salt Pond Beach. We finally were able to eat at Miss Lucy's which was wonderful....over in Coral Bay area. I have absolutely no complaints about this place and highly recommend it.

We had a fantastic week at Seaside Vista, coffee in the morning on the patio overlooking Frank bay was terrific. The villa is small but well appointed, everything you need is in the kitchen including the all important blender. We used the beach chairs and cooler everyday, and it has an all important parking spot as we came to learn. Cruz bay basically has very limited parking, but we were able to walk just about everywhere to dinner or shopping from this perfect location. Everything in the villa was working and well maintained and the owner was super helpful, sending pretty much everything you would need to know about the area and the villa ahead of time. We walked with our bags from the ferry - about 10 mins and just 1 hill to deal with. The views here are stunning, the AC kept us comfortable at night, kiddos were happy enough on the bunk beds. This villa has everything you could want for an amazing stay on St John. We would definitely stay here again.

The photos don’t do this property justice. It is absolutely breathtaking. It is 40-50 feet elevated above Frank Bay with a view to the west for incredible sunset views every night. The sound of the surf is the perfect backdrop for a relaxing vacation. Every morning, iguanas appear in the fire tree outside the bedroom windows, feeding on the orange blossoms for breakfast. Perfect location. Easy walking distance to Cruz Bay for shopping and cafes, 15 minute drive to the best beaches and snorkeling in the world. Don’t miss Trunk Bay with its underwater snorkeling trail through the coral reef. Tons of fish, stingrays, and occasionally a turtle. What a great vacation!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Seaside Vista. Awesome location for us (party of 2) as return visitors to the island. The screened porch is the best room offering an incredible view and the perfect place to relax and nap, eat breakfast or enjoy happy hour. The cottage is very clean, well appointed in the kitchen with supplies and ice maker, good quality shower and bath, extremely comfortable bed, laundry and grill, beach chairs, cooler and noodles. Add ALL this to the BEST location for walking into town! Snorkeling is within walking distance right off Franks Bay near Gallows Point. You still need a car to explore and enjoy St. John’s many gorgeous beaches, but knowing we could park the car safely in the driveway at night and walk to dinner is such a convenience. Thanks Michael for a great stay!

Exactly what I expected - adorable home away from home with great location (walking distance to downtown) and beautiful porch views. Enjoyed watching iguanas, hummingbirds, and peacocks while listening to the sounds of ocean waves! Don’t worry that the place doesn’t have an address, just map match! Would definitely return!

So happy we chose Seaside Vista. We had breakfast overlooking the beautiful water every morning & cocktails overlooking the lights of St Thomas every night. We walked to town for dinner every evening. Michael gave great restaurant recommendations. Can't wait to go back!

Seaside Vista is a charming little hideaway within easy walking distance to Cruz Bay. The view is AMAZING and Michael has packed everything you need into his tidy space. We are a family of five which was a little tight, but in paradise you make it work! Highly recommend!!

Michael is a FANTASTIC host and the property is an absolute dream. We didn't want to leave! The sound of the ocean is dreamy, the amenities and finishing touches at the cottage are brilliant, and the proximity to town is ideal. Cannot wait to go back. We absolutely loved our weeklong stay. :)

The property is much smaller than the listing photos. In reality, i's a studio with a walk-in closet. The owner renovated it and calls it a master bedroom with a guest room. The master bedroom has no door, hence why it should be listed as a studio. The guest room is actually just a walk in closet with a bunk bed added.

The house is very clean & modern, with everything you might need throughout your stay. The screened in porch is amazing & given the incredible views is quite the steal. Close enough to walk to town & easy to drive anywhere on the island. You will not regret staying here!

My husband and I have stayed two times at Seaside Vista- and hope to return! The location is the best part. Walkable to all main restaurants and shopping. We usually rent a keep so having a parking spot is great. The place has everything you need. It clean and comfy. Most of your time will be spent on the screened in porch with amazing views of Frank Bay. The perfect place for sunset! Mike the owner is super helpful. Do yourself a favor and book this place!
