We really needed a fully relaxing break. We've had builders in at home and just needed to sit back and relax. Admirals Cottage was warm, comfortable and a great location in Winterton. Having a parking space is a boon. The rear garden is secure with good lighting in these dark nights. The beds and pillows are very comfortable. Great to have dressing gowns and the shower is first class. The log burner was brilliant. The cottage was warm and toasty. Even more so with the log burner. A metal ashes bucket might be handy to have. Lovely welcome pack. Winterton is well placed to visit the Broads. The pub is brilliant, great staff and fab food. The locals are welcoming and very dog friendly. Thanks for a great rest. It was everything we needed and our dogs were so relaxed.

Admiral's Cottage is warm, comfortable, spotless and in a fantastic location for Winterton beach. We've stayed there several times. It's got everything you need, plus you're - literally - round the corner from a great pub (Fisherman's Return) and under five minutes' walk from the sea. Great welcome pack, helpful host. Thoroughly recommended.

The property was a lovely cottage. Home from home. Couldn't ask for more. Warm and close to the beach. Was a wonderful week we all enjoyed. Saw the seals at a distance of course. Saw the windmill at Horsey and had lovely walks close by. Weather was great but would still have enjoyed even if it had rained. The cottage is completely dog friendly. Safe and warm. Clean and cozy. Will stay again or at one of the sister cottages they all look good. Was welcomed with two bottles of wine and some biscuits. Didn't want to come home what a wonderful cottage

Cottage was clean and well equipped. Great location and very nice welcome wine and cookies. It was easy to get in touch with the host. Access was easy. Winterton is a beautiful village and we will definitely return.

A beautiful, cosy cottage - perfect for our mid week stay: close to the beach, and a great location for driving out to all the nearby attractions. Spotlessly clean with everything you need at hand. Can't wait to come back!

Lovely comfy place to stay, the owners have thought of everything, including cooking oil which we forgot to bring :) very close to the beach, visited pub several times and sampled Winterton fish & chips which were yum ! Would thoroughly recommend and hope to return.

Cottage was very comfortable close to nice clean beach with lots of places near by to visit . lots of places to eat in the near by area

A wonderful stay in the heart of Winterton On Sea. Great little cottage. Very comfortable and the garden is a real sun trap. A really good base for setting out along the coast line in search of seals and also for driving off to enjoy the broads for the day. The village is very friendly with plenty of dog walks across the dunes and the lovely sandy beaches. Perfect.

Have been going to Winterton -on-Sea for many years, we love the charming village. This time it was my husband’s birthday. Admiral cottage was so lovely, everything we needed and close to the beach and the pub was just behind us. We always take our dog with us and I must say everywhere is very dog friendly.

This is our third stay in Admiral Cottage. We had a lovely time as always. The cottage is very warm, cosy and welcoming, a real home from home. We love Winterton, especially the beach, the pub and the fish and chip shop. The beach is great for long dog walks, and we can highly recommend the new beach cafe! Thank you for a lovely stay, we hope to be back next year!

Beautiful little cottage, small but fine for 2 friends or a couple. Nice to have en-suite bathrooms, stairs are very very steep but we knew that! There’s a door at the bottom so you can stop children/dogs trying to scale them! Porch is great for boots etc. well equipped small kitchen comfortable and cosy living room - perfect for us - 3 friends and 2 labradors we had a great time!

I loved my stay here. The cottage is beautiful and in a great location, near sand dunes and the beach. A perfect stay for me and my dogs.

Fantastic cottage, brilliant village and superb beach walks with the dogs. Village has all the required amenities and the locals are very friendly.

Beautiful property in perfect location first time at this property but have been twice before and the owners other property x will definitely come back x Downstairs shower head could do with a good clean and the hoover cylinder was full to bursting other than that fantastic xxx

A cosy, well equipped cottage in a great location in the centre of Winterton. Beach, tearoom, shop and pub all within a few minutes walk. Perfect!!

Bedroom and bathroom on ground floor, which was ideal for my elderly mother, however, beware of the stairs (traditional Norfolk stairs), these are very steep and winded, not suitable for people with mobility issues, as it states on the guide. The cottage is comfortable and clean, with all facilities needed. Would stay again.

Our third time we stayed here we will be back again

We really enjoyed our stay. We decided after one night up stairs, that the stairs were too steep for us, so we slept down stairs which was very nice. We loved the location of the cottage ,right in the middle of the village. The only negative thing was that the living room was dark and gloomy when the sun wasn't shining through. We had to have the lights on during the day.

Perfect cottage and location for a lovely, relaxing holiday. The cottage had all the amenities required for a family of 4 with a 11 and 13 year old. The location was one of the most dog friendly places we have been too and we enjoyed every minute. Thanks

A lovely cottage in a lovely location

The cottage is really lovely old and quaint big size bathrooms and bedrooms towels and dressing gowns provided the cottage was very well equipped with all you need it was lovely to have a pint of milk in the fridge upon arrival thank you for that the garden was fully enclosed but backs on the local pub which could get a bit noisy if you are sitting in the garden close to the beach and the few shops in the village has some lovely walks around close to hemsby and Great Yarmouth The thing that let this cottage down for me was the cleanliness there was hairs in the upstairs shower cubicle and on the tiles.dust on all the shelves and there was a lot of cobwebs in the kitchen around the fridge,heater, knife block and where the microwave sat you could see crumbs under this in the down stairs bathroom a lot of dust on window cells and on the glass shelf for me this let such a beautiful cottage down

In a lovely peaceful location, easy parking. The cottage has everything you require. Would certainly recommend it.

We loved it! It was a home away from home in a wonderfully quiet village with good amenities and miles of golden sandy beaches. A short trip gets you to busier, more populous places as and when you might desire it. It was really lovely to be able to snuggle up on the comfy couch in front of the wood burner. Will definitely book again soon!
