La posizione è fantastica, l’ospite ha l’opportunità di ammirare paesaggi incredibili all’interno della riserva di Etendeka senza nessuno attorno per km e km. La tenda e il bagno all’aperto sono stupendi. Lo staff è stato molto attento e professionale. C’è l’opzione di dormire in un campsite aperto sotto le stelle in un panorama unico ma questo si trova in un’altra area rispetto al camp principale e bisogna prenotare in anticipo (non è spiegato molto bene sul sito).

Le opzioni per pranzo e cena sono molto limitate (si tratta di un buffet di 3 insalate per pranzo e un piatto unico con contorno e dolce per cena). Il sistema di check-in alle 16 e check out alle 7.45 dovrebbe essere rivisto per permettere maggiore flessibilità (noi abbiamo chiamato per chiedere di poter entrare prima e ci sono venuti incontro).

Beautiful location, excellent staff doing everything they can to please guests and do their job.

Very bad value for money spent. There are plenty of other lodges in the area for half of the price and much nicer. Etendeka camp badly needs refurbishing and rethinking. Activities are not well sort out - all age groups together , not much choice. Food was tasty and honest in a home-cooking style but inadequate for the price .

The property is in a beautiful isolated location; great to get away from it all. The staff were superb. Gecilus the guide was great - really knowledgeable and friendly.

Everything! This place is utterly spectacular. It is managed so well with wonderful staff. The tents were well appointed and comfortable (and hot water bottles on cold nights a thoughtful touch), the outdoor bathroom clean and well functioning, guides were so knowledgeable and friendly, the food was delicious (and we appreciated the adaptation for our dietary needs), serving staff so lovely and the evening fire and company was just perfect. If you are looking for a stunning, very rural, well managed and friendly place to visit to just be out in vast nature then this is it.

We had an incredible time at Etendeka. A very special place. The staff were amazing from the owner to the guides and hospitality staff - so friendly, helpful and knowledgeable about the area, nature and wildlife. The food was delicious and just what was needed before and after some great activities which included nature walks and drives. A unique and special place and we cannot wait to return. Thank you so much to a very special team at Etendeka.
