Had a little trouble finding bldg at first. No more valet parking. Took a while to get luggage and groceries brought up. Could have done of myself. Not their fault. Short staffed? Couldn’t find number to let them know we were leaving early.

I can not say enough good things about this unit! We loved the view and loved the huge lanai! We spent most of our evenings out there enjoying the sunset! The room fit our family of 6 amazing! The two king beds in the second bedroom was so great! Kitchen was well stocked and loved that there was beach chairs, cooler & umbrella. We have stayed at many units at the Honukai and this was by far our favorite! We can’t wait to come again!

The Honua Kai is a great property with lots of amenities. Well maintained resort and beautiful grounds. Better for families with younger kids than teenagers. Honua Kai 407 had a couple little broken items. Dryer door didn’t close and we had to prop it shut so it would work. Light in laundry room was broken as well, as was the corkscrew. We ran out of garbage bags too and had to ask for extra toiletries because bathrooms were stocked with one bar of soap for sink and shower. These were minor inconveniences but detracted a little bit from our enjoyment of the condo. That said, it was nice to have 2 beds in the second bedroom so my teenage sons could each have their own bed.

The nana wall and big balcony looking at all other neighbors provide a sense of festivity. You know you are on vacation at this property!

Always a great stay. The unit has a great layout, the pool is fun for kids, Duke's on site, and the whole complex is far enough outside of Lahaina to avoid all the traffic.

This condo was great for our family of four, including two young adults (18 and 20).

#407 was amazing! Very neat, clean, and well stocked. 2 full bathrooms both with tubs and showers. Beautiful view and close to the pools and the beach. Beach chairs in the closet and a small general store in the hotel. Fire pit at night and wonderful balcony view of the ocean.

We loved the Honua Kai unit 407. The view was spectacular and the condo had everything we needed. The location was perfect. We liked to walk along the beach path in the morning. The many pools were nice and having Duke's onsite was an added bonus. The resort uses keyless wristbands to enter the room, garage, building and to get pool towels. We liked the convenience of this. Perfect place for our family of 5.

Property was beautiful with all the amenities. Staff was wonderful and friendly. Rental was very clean and modern! Loved it!!!

We loved this place and only wish we could have stayed longer. This is a luxurious unit and everything is exceptionally well maintained. The appliances and cookware look brand new. The view is terrific, and the grounds and beach are fantastic. It is also nice that Duke's is only a short walk away. The open floor plan, and the way all the windows open up create an incredibly airy space. We left this gorgeous place for another island, which was a mistake! We want to go back.

Traveled with our kids (22 and 19), great location with great views. The lanai was great to open the doors and have the fresh Hawaiian breeze blowing through. Great sun showers on occasion, never last long, but create great rainbows. The walkway along the different resorts was great for morning walks, easy access to restaurants and some shops. The nearby Whalers Village (short drive) was great. We enjoyed touring the island, and visiting different beaches. Times Supermarket was an easy walk with a great selection. The beach chairs, umbrella, and cooler came in very handy. Stephanie did a great job with our photo shot at the resort, request her for your photos, AWESOME. Sammy Scuba did an awesome job with our scuba tour. Sunsets right off the resort are fantastic.

Excellent! We loved it. Upscale condo with Beautiful view. Fit my family of 5 very comfortably. Would definitely return.

This unit was just as it was advertised. Great place with lots of space and extra amenities. Would love to stay here again!

really nice condo, room 407. Bedrooms are a bit on the small side (compared to the Hyatt Residences) but more than adequate for a week stay. Kitchen was well laid out, even had all the accouterments of Costco home :-) View was very nice, the Nana walls exceedingly convenient, and the lanai was fantastic.

We had a wonderful stay in Honua Kai 407. It was the perfect location and the unit is very specious. For the most part it had everything we needed to enjoy our stay. We never tired of the beautiful ocean view!! The staff at the resort was very friendly and helpful. They have a store on site that is open until 11:00 pm which is very convenient. The Staff at the Maui Resort Rentals were a pleasure to work with as well. Looking forward to our next visit!! Thank you for sharing your place with us. It was awesome!

Turned 60 and brought the family to Maui. We all loved Honua Kai 407 with it's spacious 2 master bedrooms. So many pools, a slide, a river, hot tubs, adult only pool to keep everyone happy! Everyday we made use of the kitchen, and eating on the lanai every day was so relaxing. Bathrooms are spacious. The large wall of windows that open completely up on the lanai made the space even larger. We are already talking about coming back. We joined the Pacific Whale Foundation and received many benefits on activities with them. I would recommend joining the Foundation and booking a snorkeling trip to Lanai on their boats. The snorkeling at the cove on Lanai was definitely a HIGHLIGHT of our week. All the folks at the office were extremely helpful and friendly. The restaurant Dukes on the property has music in the afternoon and great food. Their recommendations for activities were spot on. Mahalo!

This condo is located in a fantastic complex. It's not extremely large like most of the others in the area, which means there's less patrons in the pool area and beaches. Situated just far enough outside of town as to not be affected by traffic. The unit is extremely large with 2 master bedrooms and baths, a full kitchen, and a large patio; I was extremely pleased. I was also NOT particularly enamored with finding cockroaches in the unit the first day we arrived. I sent pictures to Maui Realty and was told that they spray the units every 3 months, but I've no idea when that was last done prior to our stay. Maybe we arrived at the tail end of that 3 months. They ridiculously offered to come spray the unit with chemicals while we were STAYING in it. We simply had to live with it and pray not to see them too often. Outside of that, I would recommend this complex without hesitation, everything else was splendid.
