Location great. Did not love that the pictures listed are not of this home. Very disappointed in the living room and having comfortable furniture to sit with family. One of the chairs is broken and unusable as the right side is caved in. I sat on the floor.

Nice place , needs a couple things taken care of . Carpet needs to be cleaned or replaced , The upper outside deck rails are bad really loose . Master bathroom shower drain completely plugged .

I did like the condon was nice and quiet and plenty space but need new couch because that's broken couch.

Great little community, tons of hikes and lakes nearby. The house had everything we needed.

I didn't like that there was spiders an a bat flying inside home lots of spiders scared to get bit by a spider or the bat ...but other then spiders bugs an bat inside home it was ok

It’s a wonderful place to spend a great time, everything works fine and it’s comfortable, I would just suggest cleaning the carpet and windows. I would stay there again.

The beds were good! Cleanliness, amenities, location and water were not so good. We made the best of it so we could visit family in the area but will not return to this condo for future visits

Was a great getaway.

Easy to get answer for all my questions. Peaceful location with pine trees surrounded so the cabin still cool without having AC. Road noise if windows open. Spacious and lot of beds enough for 8 but we just a family of 4. Pans and knives are sticky not very clean. But bedrooms and bathrooms are spotless. No spices or coffee but there are detergents for clothes and dish washer which are a big plus. Definitely recommend to others and we might book again with Vacasa.

Everything was fine, no complains. Clean, plenty of supplies, comfortable beds. Decent WiFi - honestly we did not expected Internet will be that good for remote location. Cabin was comfortably cool inside at 85 outside. We would rent it again if decide to come back to Shaver Lake. The location itself is so-so, but we liked it overall. No hiking trails, biking is difficult, no lake access except by car (most locations were closed). Lake was great for trout fishing - we had our limit every morning at Sierra Marina, lots of planted fish. Best swimming place (clean and warm water) we found at Dorabella - campground was closed but 20 minutes hiking took us there from the end of Dorabella rd.

We so enjoyed the forest retreat while being so close to the cute town of Shaver Lake and easy driving distance to many amazing outdoor destinations! The condo was well kept and it was perfect for what we needed with two families. Our kids loved the pool and the upstairs nook! The kitchen was stocked with lots of cooking appliances and utensils. We loved our stay!

This condo was in a great location...close to town, restaurants, shopping, and last minute items needed that were forgotten back at home. This is a "no frills" unit but met our needs...small repairs are needed: stove wouldn't heat up...heater had a ping all night which just meant turning it off and putting on more blankets...and couldn't get enough hot water to shower 1 person in each bathroom at the same time. After the first night my family and I altered between night and morning showers. Although signage in the home indicated that firewood was available under the stairs: their was NONE...I did call in regards to this but no wood came: resulting in the need to spend $60 for firewood...there are plenty of games...many TV programs...bottom line: a bit of money needs to be invested into this rental...i.e: small TV put in one of the bedrooms...updated stove...and myself...I'd add some pictures to the walls to make it feel more inviting. I know it sounds like all was bad...but for the price this was a perfect 3 day getaway...I only wish we had taken advantage of the hottub! All esthetics aside...I would rent again....but next time I'd make sure the firewood was there...it was an unexpected added expenditure.

Would absolutely stay here again. Great kitchen, full of cookware and dinnerware. The beds were comfortable and the heaters kept the place warm and comfortable. We did have an issue with the heater in the main room (somebody before us, pulled the thermostat off the wall and reset it), however it was fixed within the hour. You will have to wait 10 minutes or so between showers as the place has a small water heater. But that's no big deal at all. Again, we can't wait to stay there again.

Our stay was ok. A few issues that didn't ruin our stay but I could see a pickier person having an issue with them. Stove Oven doesn't work. Set it to 400 degrees and it only got to about 150 at most. Changed our dinner plans because of it... Continuous hot water only available in kitchen and bathroom sinks. Both Showers only gave about 2 or 3 minutes of hot water. Not sure why if the sinks didn't have this issue... If you're a light sleeper, you have to choose between a goodnight (quiet) sleep or a warm room. Both of the heaters in each room made "Pinging" noises throughout the night. Which is common with these types of heaters but we had to turn off both bedroom heaters since the "Pinging" was keeping us up. So we had to layer on the blankets to stay warm because it was VERY cold during our stay (Early January)....middle section of dining room table kept sliding out since the locks that are supposed to keep it in place are broken.... Overall, our stay wasn't ruined. The condo was pretty clean and served its purpose (a place to sleep). Would I stay here again? Yes, but during a warmer period like summer time where the "Pinging" heaters and the lack of hot water in the showers aren't such an issue.
