Lots of space for family fun . We highly recommend this property !

I honestly don’t want to leave a good review because I want this property to always be available when I visit Charleston….but the photos of this place do not do it justice. The house is phenomenal. It is beautiful inside and out, a gorgeous view from both back decks, and PLENTY of space for our group (13 people but could have easily fit 15+). I wish we had stayed here longer because I really didn’t want to leave. 10/10 recommend!!!

We loved this property. The layout of the bedrooms was perfect for our multi generational family. The view of the ocean, and proximity were great. Everyone had a wonderful time!

House was excellent. Perfect for our extended family. Lots of room, conveniently located near the beach access. We really enjoyed the large screened in porch over looking the pool with comfy furniture. We will definitely be back!

The house location is perfect. You are right across the street from the beach and the views of the water are awesome. The home is also very open and accommodates a family well, just be aware there are lots of stairs. My only disappointment was the cleanliness. The house has significant wear and tear of the furniture, much more than I’ve experienced in similar rental homes at this price point for example all the indoor seating cushions need replacing due to heavy food stains and discoloration. The cleaning also had a lot more misses than we’ve experienced elsewhere. Overall, we enjoyed our trip due to the location and outdoor space.

We thoroughly enjoyed our visit. The place was clean and spacious with stunning views. We were fortunate to have had fantastic weather and were able to take advantage of the local park and beach which was only steps away from the house! We would definitely stay here again!

Check in was easy. The description was just as mentioned. Parking was great. The home was amazing.

The house was perfect for our family! The new updates were very nice and the screened in porch was our favorite place to hang out. The kitchen was well stocked with everything you needed. The location and proximity to the beach was ideal. The pool was also a plus for everyone but I feel it should be cleaned more than 2 times a week. Overall, it was a great house!

Great weekend in IOP!

Four families stayed in this house very comfortably with a "nook" for four pack 'n plays and bunk beds for three "big kids" (ages 3-4). While the house needs some TLC (generally outside), it was spacious and had all the amenities we needed with a large table inside and outside for eating, a pool, large living area upstairs and down, plus a great upstairs deck with a view of the ocean. We loved the extra rental gear and the walk to the beach was very convenient. We plan to come back!

First floor living furniture and deck and outside furn . Very tired . First floor couch unacceptable condition . Size and layout great. . Appliances very tired also . Enjoyed are stay overall.

We loved the location. Short walk to the beach and beautiful views. The house was quite roomy with great accommodation for several families with little ones as well as lots of space to spread out. I chose 4 stars instead of 5 due to the lack of general maintenance. There were several minor issues that need addressed, general repairs that don't seriously effect your day to day lifestyle, but overall diminish the quality of your stay.

We were in the area for a long weekend for a family event. The house was spacious and charming and the bedroom set-up allowed for extended family members to each have their own bathroom and space. We loved the large, open kitchen, two family rooms, and big screened in porch. The house was charming, simple, and comfortable. The kids enjoyed the pool (it was chilly in February, but it didn't stop them) and the beach was right across the street. The house is on a quiet, lovely part of the island, but still a nice walk to the little downtown. This is not a luxury rental, some of the furniture was worn, but it was very homey and perfect for us!

Place was clean, communication responsive, and well-situated close to the beach. Everything we hoped!

The layout of the house was gorgeous , beautiful pool, beautiful view from upstairs of the water, great neighborhood, lots of room for kids and adults. But overall It need a deep cleaning , and many repairs. The rental agency was very quick to send over the cleaning crew when I explained how we found the place and they did try to clean up a little better. There was used bars of soap in the showers, which tells me they didnt clean the showers, The floors were not clean the tables and countertops were sticky, And the throw rugs in the house were so filthy, we rolled them up ' put them on the side. The disposer in the kitchen sink was full of food and egg shells which left a lingering odor throughout the first floor until I found the source of the odor and flushed the disposer with baking soda. The appliances were old & not very functional--washing machine was dirty & the handles broken; the dish washer didn't close well, the microwave was rusty..this house has such great potential , but needs a lot of repairs, paint & cleaning . Rental company was very helpful, but , in all honesty , I would not recommend this house if cleanliness is important to you.

This is a good house for a few families with children. Charming but not luxurious. Pros: +very Charming older home +In addition to the 6 bedrooms there are 2 small rooms attached to 2 of them which are perfect for a child or two. +2 living areas and another space with a table for games, etc +close to beach +clean pool +clean crisp sheets on beds +plenty of hot water and all the appliances worked +2 large attractive newish bathrooms, and 2 older very nice bathrooms +carroll realty was very pleasant and accommodating to deal with Cons: -the furniture is mostly old and worn, many of the porch chairs are broken -the painted white kitchen cabinets are grimy and sticky, the kitchen floors are dirty, the room doors around the knobs are grimy. -the porch is shabby with ripped screens -5 corkscrews but only 4 wine glasses.... -the pool filter is next to the porch and runs 24/7 and it's noise bothered me alot, but didnt seem to bother the others in our family.

This was a wonderful destination for a group of friends to gather over the New Years Holiday: a clean, recently renovated older home just a block from the Beach. According to one of my friends it's "the least-tackily decorated beach house I've ever seen!"
