The property did not disappoint. Many amenities and comfortable lodging.

Close to Castellina, Siena, San G, and other great items of Chianti. Many great restaurants in the area. The walking trains on the property were fantastic—saw many boar and huge bucks. The herbs surrounding the property were aromatic and beatififul.

This was the perfect place to spend a relaxed week in Tuscany. The apartment and grounds were secluded and beautiful. It was remote and wild enough that we felt that we had escaped our everyday lives, yet close enough to Siena and San Gimignano that we could drive out in the evenings and experience some night-life. The Fireflies, Deer and Wild Boar made it magical. The home made essential oils, Spa and swimming pool made it luxurious. Would love to come back soon!

Jerome was just wonderful. Our place was magnificent - beautiful grounds. Great locations for day trips. The town of Castellina is charming.

Our stay was perfect. Jérôme is a great host, the facilities are very good and there are lots of nice restaurants on a short drive's distance. The dog is very adorable. One of us had a slightly lower bumper on his car, which made the road to the property a bit hard to reach for him. We'd love to return sometime!

We had a wonderful though relatively short stay at the property. Everything was very well taken care of, the apartment had everything we needed. The Spa is superb, so is the pool and the garden area. Would definitely return for a longer stay. Both communication and booking process were very smooth.

Me, my partner and some friends spent a week at the BELVEDERE and it was better than we expected! There was enough space for 6 people during our stay and two more could have fit in easily. The kitchen is absolutely well equipped and if tou love cooking and especially bbq you will love it. During these times it’s very important to stay safe and keep safe distance to other people. This was also possible while we were spending time outside on the property or just having fun in the amazing pool! We would always choose this location again to stay at with a bigger group of people (our ages vary between 19-28)!!! So thank you Jérôme and Philomena for making our vacation so beautiful!!

Podere La Valle already looked good on the web. But when you arrive, it simply gets you in relax mode. Everything is very well taken care, great looking and clean. A perfect symbiosis between modern and comfy and traditional. The Belvedere is a really nice own part of the house, equipped with all you need. Plenty of glasses, dishes, etc. You will find a few spots on the podere to relax in silence and some tables w fireplaces. The infinity pool is another highlight. And it is perfectly located in the center of the Chianti hills, only 30-40 mins from al famous places in Tuscany. We all enjoyed it big time, Jerome and his team are great hosts including Mirtillo, a friendly little cuddly dog on the Podere. Definitely a place to come back to.

We stayed at Jerome’s agriturismo for 10 days in July 2020. We could not have wished for a better accommodation. It really is a very extraordinary place to stay and exceeded our expectations in all possible ways. The accommodation is a restored old farm house, which has been done with a lot of care and great taste and eye for detail. Everything is good: from the bathrooms to the beds, from the views from the windows to the cool breezes and crisp white towels. The outside area is beautiful as well. An infinity pool with a the classic Tuscan view, lots of fun areas for kids such as pétanque, darts and ping-pong table and many hammocks, picknick tables and other little hideaways to relax. There are many hikes which commence from the agriturismo itself and old villagages just a short drive away which are stunning. Jerome was very helpful in all possible ways, as was Filomena, the manager of the property. Jerome recommended several good restaurants and vineyards to visit. We stayed at the apartment: Belvedere, which has two large comfortable bedrooms downstairs and a smaller bedroom in the attic. The latter was fine for our baby to sleep, but the ceiling was too low for an adult. Please note that the Belvedere apartment is not on the ground floor, but has a small set of stairs before the entrance. The apartment does not have its own outside terrace, like the other apartments, but with the help of Jerome and Filomena we created a nice outdoor dining area in front of the apartment. We would highly recommend the apartment and the property and would love to return someday.

We had a wonderful stay, the apartment was well appointed and we had everything we needed for a relaxing visit to the area. The property is fantastic, beautiful and peaceful, and it was easy to visit the hill towns around us and go wine tasting. The spa is amazing with a sauna and steam room, we used it every day of our stay. Castellini in Chianti is a very special place, a small town with good restaurants and friendly people.

Absolutely gorgeous property! Clearly designed with respect and appreciation of local architectural traditions. Incredible attention to details in the interior as well as exterior. Beautiful landscaping in outdoor lighting. Lots of different areas around the property that provide privacy to different groups of guests. The infinity pool with lots of natural shade is a highlight. We liked our stay so much that we want to make it a tradition. Seriously, I don't think it can get much better than this and if you're look for a tasteful interpretation of Tuscan perfection - this is it!

We had a wonderful stay in Belvedere in early May. The apartment was sparkling and very large (there was only 3 of us staying). I have never stayed in a holiday apartment which was so well equipped. I think I counted 30 wine glasses! Everything was thought of - there were even food bags and clips. Plenty of fluffy towels, including towels and gowns for the spa. The home-made soap was a nice touch. The apartment was finished to a very high standard - you could tell it was lovingly restored. Whilst it is an old building, it is not too "rustic", though it is furnished with antique wood furniture. The pool was closed when we were there, as it was too early in the season, but I would love to return again to experience it when it is open - it looked fantastic. Nice to walk through the forest, watch the chickens, chill in the hammocks while listening to the birds. Very peaceful. We had the pleasure of meeting Jerome on one of his visits from Belgium and he is so full of enthusiasm for this place. And it really shows - he is constantly making improvements. I really struggled to find any negatives. Two things I'll point out (though neither would stop me from returning): The smell in the apartment was a little unusual. It wasn't unpleasant, but we couldn't place it. We thought it might be from the wood or stone, or a combination of both. That said, we had the windows open most of the time, so we didn't notice it too much. Also, we were puzzled by a "noise" that seemed to emanate from behind the fireplace. It took us a couple of days to realise it must be due to the spa (which is underneath the apartment), as it sounded like a water pump. It was not a disruptive noise, and I only mention it in case it puzzles anyone else!I would love to visit this area again, maybe a little later in the year when the pool is open and the weather is better. I would definitely stay here again.
