The cabin was cute, but very stuffy, no ceiling fans… strong odor of paint, or shellack. Stairway carpets were very stained, there was a dead spider in the freezer, soiled sheets upstairs (they had mucus on them), and a used paper bowl on the TV cabinet.

The downstairs bed had no pillowcases. Deck and porch looked like they haven’t be swept for quite awhile. No umbrella on deck this time. Just thought you’d like to know….

It was comfortable, a little hard to find at night and could have been cleaner. There were dirty dishes in the dishwasher and wet dishes in the cabinets. Location was great and everything worked as expected. Overall no issues with our stay.

Fun, uncrowded, lots of snow, great cabin...maybe get a better mattresses and change the directions on Google maps to "your destination is on the right" instead of "left". Thank you and we'll be back !!!

The view with snow was magical!

This house is it a nice quiet neighborhood and let us bring our dog which we liked. We also appreciated the gas fireplace, powerful wall heater, and plenty of space heaters to keep everything warm during a cold and stormy weekend. Overall the house is dated and quite worn, and was not super clean, but nothing we couldn't live with. Zero instructions or guidance upon arrival, no checkout instructions or anything like that which we found strange. Important to note that Google maps thinks the house is on the plot of land across the street so be prepared to spend some time looking, especially if you show up in the dark. I would probably shop around before staying here again but overall it was fine and we had a nice vacation.

The fireplace did not work. Had to take garbage out when arriving. Many of the heaters did not work..

Lovely home. Pet friendly! Lots of nearby trails and a friendly neighbor. Very peaceful and spacious. Will definitely be going back.

This house was great for our family for the 5 days. The only things I would mention is that they do not provide any additional household items if you run out. After 3 of our 5 days we were getting low on TP, and told that they do not restock Toilet Paper or papertowels. There are also no kitchen towels, we ended up using bathroom handtowels. There is also no clear identification of what to do with trash. We had a few bags and were told to use the provided cans on property, but there were none. I dont think the person answering text questions, is actually local, or has any idea what the property situation is. Other than that it was a great stay and we had a good time in the mountains with family.

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this beautiful cabin in this beautiful peaceful forest. My wife, and I, and our Golden Retriever (Dude) will definitely be back.

The place is functional and clean, however it does not have enough warm bedding — we went into town and bought blankets. There are several space heaters and an electric fireplace, but it snowed so the summer bedding didn’t cut it! The owners definitely need to invest in new door handles/locks. The doors were difficult to close and lock from the inside and the top locks on both doors did not work. Overall we enjoyed our stay, thanks!

This place had very much a cabin feel, which is what we were looking for. The indoors looked like it had been updated recently and we were very happy that it was not in the burn area.

Loved the outdoor space, the wifi, the washer/dryer. Good enough space for a family. I do feel like a few small updates could make a huge difference. There wasn’t any extra toilet paper or trash bags, so we had to buy some; coffee maker didn’t work; dishwasher was literally falling over.

We loved having two sledding trails nearby, yet would have liked closets in the bedrooms. Also the back door to the deck/balcony was difficult to pull open, and there were not enough towels in the upstairs bathroom.

Very cute cabin nestled into a quiet neighborhood. Great back deck with fire pit. Kitchen could have used an extra pot or two and better lighting (it was almost cooking in the dark)!

Just fine for 2 people and our dogs....but very small.

horrible horrible house it locks up and i couldnt get back into the house because my keys and phone were in the house and there wasnt anyone to help me

Not working air conditioning

Comfortable and quiet cabin in the woods. The kitchen has most everything and we used it at least 2x a day. Enjoyed the deck in the morning. Too hot in the afternoon as it is west facing. The cabin gets very warm in the late afternoon but cools off in the evening as long as the fans are on and pulling cool air from the outside. Loved that it was pet friendly.

Deck was beautiful. Nice seats, great views of the trees. The propane fire feature was a great touch, got to sit in front of the fire and get to know the kids better. Everything was clean, well kept, and comfortable.

Our family of 5 plus doggie had plenty of room to sleep, relax and enjoy this cozy cabin. Having a washer/dryer was a plus and allowed us to pack light. Back patio was where we spent mornings drinking coffee and evenings star gazing. Enjoyed our stay!

Perfect for a visit to Shaver Lake.

This Cabin does not have ac. Or a cooler. Upon check in our Cabin’s interior temperature was 86 degrees. I understand the unit doesn’t have a cooling system but there was no windows open or fans on to help cool off the inside of the cabin. We called Vacasa and they offered us a free night at a later date in another cabin to make up. I contacted the property host and never received a reply. This is a winter cabin only as it gets HOT in the summer months

The Sweetest little cottage in the woods, perfect for a quick getaway for hiking or longer! Love the large deck and super cozy and updated inside as well. ;)

Loved the location. Nice neighborhood. House has nice appliances.

No need to drive to the snow park, just let the kids play outside there is a sled hill on each side of the house! For a dog-friendly place the cabin is amazingly clean. There is no furnace but the gas fireplace and space heaters in the bedrooms were warm enough for us. The kitchen had everything we needed for cooking and everything worked well except the pancake griddle is ancient. Bring sleds they do not have any there. The walkway could have used some road-salt, it was a bit icy.

Overall we had a wonderful time, the only issue was the keyless entry system was not working so we had to rely on a physical key. When we accidentally locked ourselves out, we discovered the spare key was missing. Trying to get in touch with the property manager was difficult as we first had to contact an agent from Vacasa, who then contacted the manager. Too many layers of communication!!!

We really enjoyed our stay at this cabin! Great location to town, China peak & very nice neighborhood. Inside is super cute & and functional with nice features, comfortable beds and plenty of space for four of us. We did have some communication issues with property management. Had to call three times to get a call back related to one of the bedroom portable heaters not working. Very cold in that bedroom first night & then we had to use our own space heater (glad our friend had one with her) because property manager thought he was coming to repair a floor heater & showed up too late in evening to get a portable one for us. Overall turned out fine but more efficient communication to address issues would be helpful. Also would suggest dish towels in kitchen, softer pillows & there were no check out instructions provided so we did what we do with most rentals. Hope is was enough! Will definitely rent this cabin again!

What a quaint, clean, friendly place to stay. The neighbors were very nice and although we showed up an hour early; the cleaning team was very nice and accommodating.

Overall this is a cute little cabin that served our needs well. The only downside for us was that this is a dog friendly property because that meant it wasn’t as clean as we would have liked. There was dog hair around and I never like to see carpet in dog friendly rentals. Some other things that could be improved are the quality of the bedding and better lighting in the kitchen. But overall it was a good stay.
