We loved this condo complex and the manager was amazing-- helping us with any question we had and going out of her way to ensure we had a great stay. The complex has a huge pool with swim up bar, lots of seating and just steps from the ocean. The apartment is very nice and great for the family. It is in the main building on 2 floors...2 bedrooms each with their own shower/toliet as well as a downstairs toliet/cold shower to use after beach. There is seating out on the terrace which you can open or close off with glass windows. A/C in the bedrooms. There is a kitchenette with microwave, stove and 1-tray oven in the main part of the apartment and a pantry area with the washing/storage. Although the layout of the kitchen is not great, we made it work (e.g. very little prep or cutting space). Place would be ideal if there were some more cooking utensils/ decent knife/ proper size frying pans, but we managed to cook for about 4 nights. We had a great time. We didn't anticipate the complex being almost deserted in August although the weather was sunny and in the mid to upper20s but it is their winter so too cold for many locals. The only big disappointment for a place asking this price is the wifi. There is no wifi in the apartment which can be a huge inconvenience and not in line with this type of accommodation. There is wifi at the pool and in reception but it was not working quite a bit. The town is just steps away and is really cute..loads of restaurants, a few decent grocery stores, souvenir and clothes shops, good priced laundry shops where you can drop off bags of clothes, etc. Highly recommend the whale watching and a short stop at the turtle sanctuary. There is also loads to do in the surrounding area. Beaches are nice although the sandy part of the beach isn't too wide. If you want to swim in the water, water shoes would be highly recommended. Overall a great place and highly recommended.
