We’ve had a wonderful week at Villa Genna. Spiros was a really welcoming and helpful host and the villa was exactly as described. It’s a well equipped villa with comfy beds and stunning views. The heated pool was fantastic and the kids loved it. Villa genna is situated in a beautiful part of Corfu with lovely beaches within easy reach. You do need to hire a car but there’s loads to see. We definitely plan to return!

The owner Spiros was very helpful when we arrived. This Villa is very clean and well laid out and we spent a very happy and relaxing week. I don’t usually bbq but the outside dining area was so perfect that we really enjoyed doing so most nights. The local beaches were a 10 minute drive away with good restaurants. A lovely place. Sad to leave.

Spiros and Alex looked after us so well. A wonderful villa with the most breathtaking view of Kalámi Bay. A real find ! Kalami is lovely along with all the coastal villages along this part of the coast. Villa Genna is about as well positioned as it would be possible to imagine. The views over Kalami bay from the bedroom balcony, pool, veranda and outdoor dining table are just spectacular day or night. The villa is also perfectly located in the sweet spot of beaches, villages and bays between Agni and Kassiopi, making for very easy excursions to wonderful spots. Boat hire from the bay in Kalami just below the villa couldn't be easier, and there are several fantastic tavernas and villages within 10-15 minutes drive (or boat ride). So much for the location, the villa itself is spot on. Beautiful pool-with-a-view, outdoor bbq and dining area, well appointed throughout (coffee machine, full cooking & dining equipment etc), and the bedrooms were comfortable each having access to the specacular view from the balcony. Finally, i can't thank Spiros enough for his warmth and generosity as a host, recommending and reserving a restaurant for our first night (we quickly realised the select list of restaurants in his vistitors guidebook was thoughtlyfully chosen), suggesting a great fish shop, a dive excursion with a great school nearby, and even procuring the loan of his fathers guitar for the week when mine had unfortunately been damaged in transit. We were completely smitten with Corfu and Villa Genna and the children were only too happy to suggest coming back. Many thanks to Spiros and his pa.

We spent a lovely week at Villa Genna. It is in a great location - a short drive to Kassiopi, Kaloura, Agni and other alluring coves with their waterside tavernas. The view from the house is magnificent - Corfu town in the south, Albania straight ahead, and Kalami Bay below, with Lawrence Durrell’s White House clearly visible .(TIP pack your binoculars for a close-up look at the massive private yachts which moor in the bay below. We had fun looking on-line to find out which billionaire was at play close by each night!) Spiros was a great host. He met us at the airport, despite a late arrival and led us to the house. He popped in with a sweet treat mid-week, and when I lost my watch, he kept up the search and found it a week later. It was also very interesting to talk to him about the island, and about his childhood memories of staying at his grandmother’s stone house next to Villa Genna - real context for our trip.

Villa Genna was faultless. Spiro takes such pride in this beautiful home. It is modern and so comfortable. Spiro offers awesome recommendations and it is obvious that he really cares that you have a wonderful holiday. A beautiful basket of yummy goodies were there when we arrived and some amazing cakes. The pool and views are really beautiful! I would highly recommend this property to others and also the hospitatility of Spiros! ❤️

We have visited Villa Genna over many years. Lovely Villa, and. Owners are splendid and very helpful. A quiet situation and lovely views. The family and Us would highly recommend. We look foward to returning as soon as available.

No doubt: If you are interested in spending a high-level holiday on beautiful Corfu Island, Villa Genna ist the best location to choose. We have been there for the third time. After October & May now in April, which was a little cold this year, but not only inside the villa we felt comfortable anyway. If you would ask us for renting another holiday-villa for making new experiences, we would clearly say no. The reason why: The hosts of Villa Genna are so charming, that they opened our hearts at the first moment we learned to know them; the interior of the villa is very tasteful; and outside you’ll find superb views to Albania and along the coast, a lovely pool to refresh, a big barbecue and a wonderful sitting area, surrounded by all kinds of blue: Blue sea, blue sky, blue pool…(and a Greek flag of course). In combination with the Green of the olive and citrus trees and the golden and warm sunrays, you do not have a chance: You just have to feel good – it is a little as if you were in heaven. (Okay, that might be a bit exaggerated, but it definitely is a little paradise.) It simply is a perfect place - as relaxing as it is inspiring. Villa Genna was our first choice in the past, and it will sure be our first choice in future – the one and only possible place on Corfu for us! Bärbel & Gerd, Cologne

We (family of 4 including 5 and 2 year olds) stayed in Villa Genna in early May 2019. The villa was fantastic. The pictures do not do the view justice. We never tired of it. The villa is set high on the hill overlooking Kalami Bay. The road leading up to it is thin, winding with some vertiginous cliffs on one side. If you are staying with kids I’d recommend hiring a car. If you are staying without kids you could walk down to the main road. The pool was excellent and our kids loved swimming in it. Inside the villa we were impressed with the size. The downstairs is entirely open plan and is a large area. Upstairs are 3 large bedrooms. It was the biggest villa we’d stayed in (we have stayed in many villas over the years). I was impressed with the cleanliness of the villa. When we arrived it was spotless and the cleaners arrived midway through our week to clean which was a nice touch. We met Spiros a number of times and I can see why the villa is so popular as he continues to try to find ways to further improve the already excellent villa and service he offers. We also found the villa very well equipped (towels, Netflix, kitchen utensils). A big plus also the heating. It got cold in the evenings but were able to warm the kids room before putting them down to sleep. Would highly recommend and we hope to return again.

We had a wonderful week at Villa Genna, beautiful location with stunning views. Well kept villa and pool, Spiros was so helpful and we loved the Greek pudding, thank you! We watched the moon eclipse from the balcony, stunning! Enjoyed coffee, dinner and relaxing at The White House in Kalami. Loved eating at the taverna in Kouloura Bay. We hired a boat and had a great day motoring up and down the coast, gorgeous weather and sea swimming. Highly recommend.

Dear Spiros Thank you for all your kind hospitality enjoyed during our amazing stay at Villa Genna. The views from the villa are stunning - it was wonderful to sit outside having dinner in the evenings whilst looking down on Kalami and the NE coast. We never tired of the view straight over to Albania and then down to Corfu Town as well. The night skies were so clear during our stay that we even located the planet Mars! The surrounding region is beautiful and we had wonderful times swimming in the warm turquoise coves. We mostly dined at the villa (due to the views); however, we did enjoy eating out at the Eucalyptus and Nikolas Taverna. Both served delicious seafood and were very atmospheric. Arriving by boat for an evening meal at Nikolas Taverna is not to be missed! Finally, many thanks to Spiros and Alex for the welcome message and welcome hamper on arrival, the gift of Baklava from Corfu Town and also for your kindness and helpful advice provided throughout our stay. A warm and gracious welcome from Spiros set the tone for an amazing stay at Villa Genna! The Villa is a beautiful home with all the modern amenities and an added bonus is the outdoor barbecue with a wonderful patio! The pool is picture perfect with well appointed seating areas and outdoor shower! When you enter the home you just get the "WOW" reaction! The spectacular view make it difficult to leave the place in the morning and explore the numerous attractions of the island. The villa offer and incredible view of Kalami bay and is well located close to wonderful and secluded beaches like Kerasia, numerous tavernas and Kassiopi town. A bit of paradise on the Greek Island of Corfu! It was sad to have to leave but there is always next year to return! Enjoy your stay and appreciate a slice of paradise if only for a short while!”

We love Greece and we love to make holidays in beautiful villas. We have seen many of them - all over the greek Island. And no doubt: Villa Genna was the best we ever had. And it probably is the best Greece or at least Corfu has to offer - in views, in comfort and in spirit. Without any doubt Villa Genna is a very high standard villa with extraordinary, breathtaking views down to the bay of Kalami and over to Albania; with tasteful interior, a wonderful refreshing pool, inviting terraces and lots of plants around – especially the lemon trees. But, and that ist the most important thing – Villa Genna offers you much more: It makes you feel a very special spirit. In every stone of the house and the surrounding, in every tree and flower you can sense the love and also effort with which it came into being. Until today you see and feel the love with which the owner Spiros and his father Alex, who built this place, still take care of it. The Villa breathes peace and harmony, and if you are sitting somewhere in the shadow, looking down to the calm sea with ships looking like toys cruising, you’ll feel a deep understanding for all that is really important in life (or is not). This is a superb villa with the most extraordinary views down to several of the most beautiful little bays in Corfu and across the Ionian to the mountains of Albania and Epirus beyond. It is hard to do justice to the enchantment of the setting in pictures. You really have to be there. The villa itself is very attractive and spacious and beautifully set out on its little cliff edge above the olive and pine groves. The swimming pool is elegantly set to the side of the house, framed by lemon trees and palms. The owner of the villa Spiros provides immaculate service, including a very generous assortment of food and wine on your arrival. The cleaning is done regularly and to an excellent standard. Everything that's needed is provided. You can walk down the steep slope through little goat tracks to the beach at Kalami -- it takes about forty to fifty minutes. Otherwise, the road up and down is twisty and dramatic -- with stunning views at every bend. Kalami and the other little bays scattered around within a few kilometres are all perfect for sunbathing and swimming -- and leisurely lunches at the many tavernas. You can walk along a path rising above the rocks from one to the other -- or hire a little boat to spend days moving from one to the other. The capital of Corfu is well worth visiting -- as are the hills and mountains behind and beyond the villa. On the other, western side of the island, the sea is much wilder and the coves steeper, barer and more spectacular. Palaeokastrista is worth spending time in - we took a boat to visit the caves in roiling waters -- a very big contrast to the serenity of the sea in Kalami. I would recommend the villa to anyone -- families, couples, friends. It is fantastic value for the price -- the warmth of the welcome from Sprios a match for the wonder of the setting.

The villa, its hillside location and the stunning panoramic views exceeded our expectations. The booking and taking payment was very simple. We were met on the first day by the owners, Spiros and his father who made us feel very welcome and were always contactable to help with any questions about the villa, local services and places of interest to go. This spacious villa was immaculate inside and out. This is our third year in a staying in the north east coastal area of Corfu and will definitely be back next year. We cannot recommend Villa Gemma highly enough. Simply brilliant!

The villa is located in what seemed to us the quiet part of the Corfu island, not far from the Kalami pebble beach. Some sharp turns are necessary to reach the villa, but this allows the beautiful view and the calm of the villa. Spiros and his father provide exceptional customer service, always very eager to help. Spiros guided us to the villa on the 1st day, and we were very happy to find some food, together with water and wine, when arriving late on this 1st day. The house is very clean and very well maintained. The mosquito nets are very practical and allow to open the windows as much as you wish. The only thing we had “problems” with were the wasps, coming each time we were trying to have a meal outside (however, not any problem at the swimming pool). Spiros gave us all the needed recommendations for supermarkets, restaurants, etc. Many of them are located in Kassiopi, at 10-15 minutes’ drive from the house. (If you come with teenagers like we did, do not miss the "Square" burger house in Kassiopi). And do not miss the Sunset at the well-named "Sunset beach" in Logas / Peroulades on the western coast of Corfu. I would definitely recommend this villa for a stay in Corfu.

We had such a wonderful stay at Villa Genna. It was beautiful, spacious and very clean. And the location and view is magic - the photos are not lying! When travelling with three teenagers a speedy wi-fi is also a necessity... and Villa Genna provided that, too :) Thanks to Spiros and his falmily for being so helpful and welcoming! We were sad to leave, but we hope to be back some day.
