Ferry view was a great location near the harbour, plenty of restaurants and shops. The house was a great size for 5 adults, very clean home from home.

Fantastic views across the river, especially from the first floor window seat. Nice accommodation with everything you would expect included. Lots of places to eat and takeaways locally. Many activities in Dartmouth, we only used the car once and has plenty of ferry rides. Would recommend. Car parking was the only downside as it is in a public car park half a mile away, although you can stop to unload and park overnight outside.

Had a lovely week staying at Ferry View in Dartmouth. Great location and wonderful views over the River Dart. Fabulous house with everything we needed for a very enjoyable stay. Would definitely recommend and look forward to returning one day.

Very easy to deal with the owner who answered all contact promptly. Ferry View is exactly that, giving a clear view of the ferry. Ideally situated for a short stroll into Dartmouth where we found some good restaurants and bistro's. Dartmouth Castle was also in walking distance. The property was clean and comfortable and we would recommend as an ideal location to explore Dartmouth and environs.

Had a fantastic family holiday in Dartmouth, cottage in a fantastic location and very clean, host was very welcoming and had all the answers to questions we had, Would recommend this cottage to anyone to stay at.

The owner was wonderful throughout and the property was great, very comfortable with plenty of space. A cosy, relaxed feel. Unbeatable location in my view.

This is a beautiful house, overlooking the lower ferry and over to Kingswear. The house is very well equipped and Sarah is an attentive and helpful host, if you need any help. I'm sure we will return to Ferry View in the future and I can thoroughly recommend this property.

Our overall stay at Ferry View was both restful and relaxing. The property was very clean and the views from both front bedrooms were fantastic. Ferry View was comfortably furnished, extremely well equipped and close to some excellent restaurants. To summarize we had a great holiday.

This lovely property met ,or exceeded, all of our expectations. Clean, spacious and comfortable. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in Dartmouth , which was an easy 5 minute stroll from the house. Beautiful views across the estuary - especially from the bedroom windows. Information/contact with the owners was excellent. Ferry View is an excellent accommodation. It easily catered for our group of six individuals with comfort and location. The house is surprisingly large, clean, well look after and has everything you need for a break away with a very short walk into Dartmouth for anything else. We were able to park two cars, nearby, on the road (as restrictions not yet started) and one car in the car park with the permit provided. Our cars never moved over the weekend as there were some great walks to do, beware....they are hilly, but the views are worth it. Good communication with Sarah who made us feel very welcome. Would recommend and hope to visit again sometime.

Ferry View cottage is perfect for a holiday. Lovely views of the river, all shops,restaurants 5 minute walk. So much to see and do in Dartmouth The cottage has spacious rooms with everything you need for a relaxing stay.

The house has everything you need including the magnificent views over the river, particularly the one from the top floor bedroom. Only a short walk from the centre of Dartmouth, it is ideally located for the shops, restaurants and, of course, the riverfront. Car parking is always difficult in Dartmouth and this was made worse by a food festival that was running when we arrived; however the delights of Dartmouth will always win and we are looking forward to our next visit.

Lovely spacious cottage. Clean, extremely well equipped (including plenty of herbs and spices as well as everything you could need in the kitchen, a high chair, bouncy baby seat etc!) Went with our toddler and baby, and had visits from both sets of grandparents. Plenty of space for everyone to relax and little one to zoom about. Dartmouth is great and cottage is well situated near centre. Parking is a little tricky if more than one car, but permit available for car park in centre is also useful at other car parks nearby, good when visiting other parts of the South Hams. Owner very helpful and prompt at replying. Thanks for a great holiday.

If you're looking for a convenient, very well equipped and very clean holiday home with absolutely stunning views (day and night) from the Lounge, 1st and 2nd floor bedrooms, look no further. Our family of 5 including our 3 adult daughters thoroughly enjoyed our stay and can highly recommend Ferry View.

The idyllic Ferry View overlooking the River Dart was everything we hoped for. It easily accommodated six adults in a very clean, well furnished and maintained property: a special mention for the very comfortable beds. The two front bedrooms had spectacular views across the river to Kingswear. Everything we could possibly need was supplied. There is a riverside pub just across the road and easy access to the town centre for a variety of good restaurants, pubs and cafes. We found lots to do in and around Dartmouth - visiting the Naval College, Dartmouth Castle, a riverboat trip and steam train to Torbay. Dartmoor and Plymouth are in easy reach by car. Customer service was excellent before and after the holiday with clear information. There was good instruction about the property and tourist information in the house. A free car park pass was provided by the owner. We highly recommend Ferry View for a terrific holiday and will definitely come back again.

A wonderful property in a perfect location with glorious River views! Stepping in to Ferry View is like stepping in to a much loved family home. We've never stayed anywhere with such a lovely cosy feel. It is superbly equipped, with everything you could possibly need for a totally relaxing stay. We couldn't wait to return 'home' at the end of each day and have already booked again for this year and next (which we have never done before!) Sarah the owner was a delight to deal with. Ferry View is only a couple of minutes stroll away from everything you need, being only a few minutes stroll from the Town Centre with all its lovely shops & eateries, yet in a quiet location. We didn't use the car at all which was perfect. I cannot recommend it enough. My parents are quite elderly but loved all the walks close by, especially along to Dartmouth Castle with its wonderful views & cream teas!
