The Coastal Pods Wynyard were the perfect balance of feeling at home, yet knowing you were on holiday. Very well appointed, self-contained units. With every convenience for the perfect home away from home holiday experience. The staff were amazing and super helpful. We will absolutely be staying here again in the future. Two thumbs up from me.

Having to leave

The cleverly executed use of the shipping containers has created a warm and open contempary design, that has certainly been enhanced by the wonderful views that can be enjoyed from all the windows in the accomodation.The weather was changing constantly and as such the light altered the views to offer a relaxing comfortable place to savour the river and surrounding views.

I personally prefer a shower stall with glass divides to keep water from spreading over the floo in the main bathroom,but do understand the practical need to cater for disabled visitors, so just a minor issue. Also a more powerful extraction fan in that big open bathroom would be better.

Beautiful tranquil location, perfect for a relaxing stay. The washer-dryer was a great plus for the mid-point of our trip.

Felt a bit looked in on by passers by, but a small trade off for the outlook.

Location, staff, breakfast and pod idea were brilliant.

Furniture was a bit more shabby than chique, lounge and chairs were low and uncomfortable. Seat pads stained and grubby, which was a shame because it all looked great.

We really liked everything about the place. The location was perfect, the staff were super kind and the room it self was just perfect.

The only thing we didn’t like was that we arrived late, minimising our time at the beautiful place.

it was beautifully decorated and had everything that you wanted including a coffee machine

The coastal pod was a real surprise - absolutely stunning decor, amazing views, well equipped with everything we needed. We self-catered so our cooking experience was great - the laundry/dryer was also really convenient for us to do a full wash of clothes half way through our trip - we soaked up the water view from the lounge room while our washing dried. The soaking tub in the Starboard pod was sensational! Loved the little reading nook room - enjoyed reading a book while watching the world go by. A really special place - well priced for what you get.

It is spacious, close to town, staff was very helpful. Had a minor problem with an outside light and they came over immediately to fix it.

Peaceful, quiet, could easily have stayed longer than five days. The pods would also be a good base for taking day trips further west and south-west. Loved that our cabin had a bathroom and entrance ramp set up for disabled guests. Well equipped kitchen. Books, game cd's provided Amazing view of river and dock. Within easy reach of restaurants and walks. The pod would be just as good in the winter when it would be cosy with plenty of heating and an interesting winter view to observe when not playing games or resting in the library nook

I'm slightly disabled and couldn't get out of the couch and lounge chairs as they were too low. Restaurants closed at 7.30. (This is not your fault, but a note in your information folder about early closing would be helpful.) We had to go to the supermarket and make a scratch meal in the pod the first night)

Fabulous location. Novelty of staying in a converted shipping container. Everything was thought of, chocolates delicious. Easy walk to The Vaultgor a delicious dinner.

There was nothing to dislike.

My family of four spent two nights here and could easily have stayed longer. The pods are so well thought out with everything you think you might need. The outlook is so beautiful especially when you open the sliding doors to the deck. We used the e-bikes twice to cycle to the golf course. it’s a nice ride along the water. Every staff member we meet was amazing. They had helpful tips and advice to make the most of the area.

The library nook didn't have a lamp, it needs one.

Very Accommodating and awesome Staff... Amazing place to stay.. Def will visit again!.. Highly recommended.

These pods are very luxurious and worth the extra cost. Great Kitchen for cooking family meals with full size fridge freezer and all the cooking gear you need and the 9kg Clothes washed/ dryer in the kitchen was also very handy. Enjoyed using the complimentary e-bikes and e-scooters from reception. Great views from the property and only a 900m walk to the main street and Woolworths.

Located right next door to Wynyard's main street, Coastal Pods is an easy stroll to a variety of shops and dining experiences. Check in was straightforward with the reception staff both friendly and knowledgeable. A nice touch was the text message advising when some upcoming garden maintenance, which included mowing, was due to commence.
