Very friendly hosts, all the amenities you needed, quiet road.

Martina was a superb host. She took time to tell us about the local restaurants and bus routes. Nothing was too much trouble. The room was clean and cosy with many little extras.

The only thing that could have been improved on for us was to have firmer pillows as the ones supplied were a bit soft for us. But that is just personal preference.

Beautiful property, located within walking distance from everywhere we wanted to go. The welcome from Martina was so warm and friendly. Our room was spotless with wonderful little treats on the most adorable trolley. The beds were super comfortable and the shower was amazing! A fabulous find! Cant thank Martina enough! Will definitely return!

The facilities provided were excellent. Our room was just inside the front door and as it had an ensuite bathroom we were able to just relax, rest and not call upon our hosts. While we were there in November and it was cold, wet and windy we saw that access to the beach was close and would make a great base for a beach holiday.

Martina was really lovely, friendly and welcoming. We had a very nice ground floor twin room and were able to 'work from home' before travelling to the apartment we'd booked for the weekend. We made the booking as we were travelling a long distance and decided to come to Margate a day earlier.

Excellent location, five minutes walk to the beach and ten minutes drive to Margate town center if you have to go there but why would you when it’s so peaceful here. I was given my own key and instructions on how to operate the Sky Tv. There was a complementary breakfast trolley, tea, coffee, orange juice even croissants and biscuits all included in the room rate which is good value for money. The hosts are welcoming and helpful and left me in peace to enjoy my stay. Nice that the room is there as you enter the house with its own bathroom.

The towels and bed sheets were a little hard/bobbly maybe use some fabric softener or ideally buy new ones? This was all I could think of everything else was lovely. Generous hosts and a good size room with twin beds.

I would 100% recommend The Nest. Martina and Kevin were so lovely and welcoming and the room was fantastic with little extras that you don't usually get in a room. It was in a really quiet area so perfect for a peaceful getaway. We will definitely be back again! Thank you both for making our stay special.

Martina is very helpful and does her very best to meet needs of her guests. She added a few complimentary snacks and the room has a bit of everything that will cater for most people. The location near the seaside is ideal and there are shops within walking distance.
