central location, nice and helpful staff

Busy area and food service not great

I loved Sophia Hotel! Very confortable and spacious room. Great location, in the heart of Cartagena, with a lot of excellent restaurants and cafes nearby. Breakfast was also really good, with a buffet and a menu included to order different kinds of eggs and other dishes. Staff was realy kind and helpfull. I recomend the hotel and would stay there again, for sure!

In general, my room was silent, but it was just bellow the swimming pool area and, in the afternoon, people dragged wood and iron chairs and tables upstairs making noise. It would be nice, if the hotel put some protection in the botton of them (felt, rubber etc), so this wouldn't happen.

The rooms were beautiful and spacious. the staff was always willing to help, extremely courteous and professional.

The only downside was that the pool was a bit small. However given the amazing location is completely understandable.

Far too expensive for what it is. Nothing interesting, basic rooms, no services justifying this price. Makes itself look luxurious, when it's not.

The service was above and beyond! Such a great location. Extremely comfortable room. We loved the rooftop and our fantastic breakfast we had there.

The staff at this hotel are phenomenal people. They help make you feel very welcomed to beautiful Cartagena. In addition, the location is great and the hotel has an amazing rooftop with terrific views of the city.

The location in the middle of the old town, the roof top and the super friendly employees

it was a overpriced for what it really offered. no security, no one to carry our bags, sometimes cold showers, … and you have to be aware that it can be super noisy too. You hear the Hard Rock Cafe Band, which is next door, the music from the rooftop and even the horses from outside at night.

Staff very good, all day breakfast included perfect. Place of the hotel!

Junior suite without windows give on the outside. A private party block on day of swimming pool. And they had a loud party till too 2am.
