on a very nice beach, the bungalow looked nice inside, great looking resort deck chairs sun loungers and palm trees.

gaps in floor boards and under door let wild life in, no storage place for your bags to keep them off the floor on the way to the hotel we get a message from them saying do not pay more than $5 dollars for a taxi, on the way back, the hotel tried to take us in there own car and charge $20 saying they had to drive all around the island because of problems on the road. think we got scammed by our own hotel for a taxi even though the whole time we were there we ate and drank at there restaurant.

Friendly staff and also really quick when ordering. The beach is beautiful and remote and I also really liked the gentle nature of the dogs.

The beach felt almost private which was nice

No piece and quiet since the bungalows of course have very thin walls so you hear the pother guests clearly, especially children who screams. but there is also building projects going around which starts every early morning which makes it quite hard to sleep in a bit.

you can only book taxis from the bunnan, that brings you to another location. the taxi costs 20$ for a 10 min ride, which is way too much. we told the woman from the reception where we want to get dropped off and she booked it for us and even typed the destination in her phone. the next day the taxi driver picked us up and drove us to the completely different beach on the other side of the beach. when we arrived there we noticed and told him that we are at the wrong destination. we told him the right beach, where we have to go and he just kept saying that we are totally at the right place. we kept showing him the beach where we want to go but he refused because he was so sure that its the right place. he gave us direction where we had to go and after he told us 5 times we were unsure because he as a every day taxi driver sounded convincing and its our first time on koh rong. turns out that it was the wrong beach and the taxi driver drove off. so we had to book another taxi at a resort for 20$ to the right destination. despite the miscommunication between the hostel staff and the driver we just wanted our money refunded but they refused. we even tried to contact them while we were waiting for the taxi at the resort and we send them e-mails and they just responded “ there are many taxis there thank you “ . double check if the driver knows your destination.

Our time at Bunnan Bungalows was awesome. At the entire Coconut Beach are 6 accommodations in total, 2 of them are abandoned and closed because of the Covid time. And now there are only 4 others left on the beach. 2 of them where really calm during our time, they hadn't really much customers (don't know if they had customers at all) so the whole beach was quite with just a few other people on the beach during our whole stay. The beach is so nice with really clear blue water. The staff can organize a taxi from pier (long set beach) to the accommodation and back to the pier, 5$ pP/way. Also you can rent a scooter for a fair price. The food is good and the price is ok. We only have been once to the nearby "coconut Beach Bungalows" for dinner, it was also good 😊 We would definitely recommend Bunnan Bungalows if you are looking for a calm and relaxing stay..

Sometimes the Wifi wasn't that good. But you are on a island where they only have electricity by a generator. And to be fair it was enough for streaming in the evening. The shower hasn't hot water, it wasn't a big thing for us. The Chinese accommodation next to Bunnan Bungalows has a go cart track, what we have known before... for us it's unbelievable how you can build something like that on a island like Koh Rong. They only had once some customers driving on the carts. We think it's getting annoying if they have more customers driving the carts. And this chinese accommodation has two bigger generators which aren't covered at all and you can hear them during the night. For us it wasn't a big deal, we slept well but if you have a very light sleep it could be a problem. Bunnan Bungalow is not responsible for both things at all! We just want to make sure you are informed if you choose to stay there -> we have been informed before an were totally fine.

It is a magical place, quiet and tranquill and the hosts are very welcoming. It is one of the places I want to come back again. Felt like home but with a stunning view.

Someone is building a go-kart track next door, so the peace and quiet might be gone sooner than later.

Our bungalow was very clean and they are so close to the beach. The staff were really friendly and helpful. Food seemed reasonably priced for the island and was tasty.

The location is pretty remote and to get to another beach you have to taxi or motorbike really, but more seemed to be opening up on Coconut beach when we were there.

First of all, the room was perfectly cleaned, smelling very good with everything you need. Then you can eat at the restaurant where they serve good food of all kind. The restaurant is just in front of the beach, which is just paradise ! White sand, clear water, no one, truly a peaceful place where I recommend to stay ☺️

The only thing I would say is maybe the hotel entrance from the road, which is not constructed at all, just be prepared ahah!

After COVID the facilities provided on the beach where the bungalows are located are poor. Only the restaurant in the bungalows is available. The beach is really dirty, with many plastic bottles. The staff is really nice but is difficult sometimes to get information about the things you can do around and which of them are available. The shower was cold, and no hot water option.

Lovely secluded beach with not many people around. The room was good and the food was delicious. You could even see the glow in the dark plankton in the sea (only on a moonless night) rather than spending money on a tour. There was plenty of options for renting out motorbikes/snorkels/kayaks.

The downside was the lack of food and drink options as most things on the menu weren’t available but it wasn’t very busy so they probably didn’t stock up as much as normal.

little bit run down after covid. beach beds broken and not enough. couldn’t buy anything stronger than a beer to drink. only one other bar/restaurant in walking distance.

The beach was peaceful, clean and quiet. The rooms were quite comfy for the price. We liked that each bed had its own mosquito net, and the having a fan instead of airconditioning waa no problem at all. Staff were friendly and helpful. It was overall a relaxing space with ambiance to match.

Sand mites (not the fault of the resort, but worth mentioning in case it is a concern for some), limited menu (but what they did offer was good!), no cocktails at the time we were there, not much to do after sunset.
