The owner was very friendly, supplied everything we possibly needed in the kitchen, bathrooms & for the beach. The view was beautiful and the condo itself was nicely updated, decorated, spacious and comfortable. The location was perfect for the view, having a trail to walk and to walk into town to restaurants and shopping. I would definitely recommend it and stay there again!

It didn't just come with a gorgeous view, it also had everything our family needed for our stay. The management company was fantastic and communicated quickly and kindly. We loved being able to walk into the town of Kapa'a and the residents were very welcoming. Sam's Ocean View, Kountry Kitchen, and Mariachi's were all delicious and had a friendly staff. The location of the condo was perfect for day trips around the island since it's a middle point. The only downside was that you could hear the upstairs tenants walking around.

The condo is perfectly set up for enjoying your vacation and has all the amenities you could ask for: beach towels, beach chairs, umbrellas, coolers, snorkel equipment, boogie boards. The Condo is right on a wonderful walking/biking path -- worth renting a bike to see the sites. The Pono Kai Resort has lots of activities on the property for the family as well. This vacation rental exceeded our expectations.The only negative comments I have is that you can hear lots of noise from the condo above this one....sometimes it was a bit difficult to sleep because of lots of very loud foot traffic from the second floor condo.

Perfect location- close to shops and restaurants, short drive to grocery store. In between north and south shore so easy drive each way. Property itself was perfect for a family of four. Gorgeous sunrise every morning, long bike trail was perfect for long walks while watching the whales. When we come back our family agreed we will stay here again.

Being a downstairs unit it is extremely noisy as the ceiling has no insulation...you can hear every foot step above you...and their conversations. The noise really detracted from how nice the unit is...a real shame as it is a nice place.

The unit is clean, roomy, decorated beautifully and fully stocked with all you need for a comfortable stay and adventuring on the island. Being on the ground floor with a straight look out to the ocean is heaven. There is noise from the above unit as others have mentioned but did not in anyway give a negative feel. We spent most of our time out on the patio anyway! The condo complex is lovely and offers lots of choices. The trail along the ocean is great for walks and an easy safe way to get into town. It was great being able to walk into town. We would for SURE stay here again if the future allows!

Sitting out on the lanai watching the sunrise was amazing. You're super close to the shops in Kapa'a so definitely take advantage of that. We didn't utilize any of the amenities on the property because when you're right on the beach, why hang out at the pool. One downside was not having a washer and dryer in the unit but the machines were right down the hall from us. The one complaint we all had was the noise from upstairs. I don't know if the people were purposely stomping around at all hours or if the ceiling/floor above us was just super thin but it was obnoxious. Lucky for us, we were out and about while in Kauai and by the time we got back, we were all so exhausted that we just fell asleep. If you're staying in the unit and not going out much, I could see this being a major issue. Also, the gal checking us in at the front desk was not very pleasant but fortunately, we only had to deal with her on the check in. Garden Island properties who manage this unit, were very responsive and easy to work with. Would definitely return here.

The people above us woke up early and walked like elephants. It is an older building with little insulation. They walked all the time it drove us crazy!

Four of us were quite comfortable in this lovely condo. It had all the things one would want and lots more- like beach chairs, boggy boards, coolers, spices etc. If you are an early riser you will love the sun rises. Have fun.

Very well appointed and clean condo in Kauai. We appreciated all the beach gear! Nice central location and we enjoyed being able to walk to shops and restaurants. We rented bikes one morning and road the boardwalk; very beautiful ride!

The location of this condo is great for sunrise viewing and relaxing. The area directly in front of the condo is not a beach for swimming but there are beaches short walks in either direction. The condo has been remodeled and is very nice and comfortable. The condo was well stocked with everything we needed including beach chairs, coolers, umbrellas, boogie boards etc…Would give this condo more than 5 stars if I could!

This place is FANTASTIC!! We felt right at home as soon as we walked in. Everything is fully stocked with essentials as well as extras, beach chairs, ice chests, games, books, too many to count! The beach decor is adorable, beds are super comfy and the views are incredible! The ocean front walking path goes on for what seems like forever, you dont even realize you are exercising on vacation. Infact you can walk to just about everything you need, coffee, shopping, restaurants. If this unit was for sale I would jump on the chance to buy it, that's how much we loved it. We’ve stayed at 3 different locations in Kauai and we loved being able to see the sunrise from our bed and living room! Being so close to the beach and walking trail we’re nice too. I also enjoyed reading in the hammocks that are right outside the room.

This condo was a perfect fit for our Kauai trip! It was amazing being right off the beach, we even saw whales right from our patio! The short walk to shops and restaurants right down the road and the Kauai bike path that goes right through the property really made this the perfect spot.

PROS: 1) Overall nice, clean, and cozy 2) Comfortable beds 3) Nice shower 4) Fully equipped kitchen 5) Beautiful ocean views and easy beach access 6) Close to shops and restaurants 7) Equipped with Boogie boards, snorkeling equipment, chairs, picnic blanket, and beach towels. 8) Beautiful resort with well kept grounds. CONS: 1) Patio screen door kept falling off, so we kept it off. Needs to be replaced or fixed. 2) Very noisy when people are above you. You can hear them walking back and forth. When they are in the bathroom it sounds like it will come through the ceiling. Very thin walls. 3) Bedroom rugs needed to be washed or replaced between guests.

We all enjoyed the location of this property. The condo was well stocked with linens, water toys, beach chairs and more. The kitchen was perfectly equipped with everything one would need.

Had a great experience with this rental. Easy, no hassle check-in. The property was as advertised. Everything worked well and the beds were very comfortable. We were happy to find beach chairs, umbrellas, boogie boards, coolers and other beach supplies for our use. You get a little bit of noise from the upstairs unit but that didn't bother us any.

The view was beautiful, beds comfortable, unit clean.Did have an issue with AC not working for a couple days. But due to Sara ( property management) she went above and beyond to get unit fixed. Actually she was very nice and helpful. Thank you Sara. Unit is on bottom floor. If someone is staying above you good luck.

Really lovely property in a great location, walking distance to eateries and a 3 mile paved ocean pathway. Furniture was well made and comfortable and the best stocked kitchen I’ve seen!
