We booked this for a girls trip! It is close to downtown, cute, clean & comfy!

The bbq and brewery next door was delicious. Thankfully they close at 9pm so didn’t disrupt our night. Hot tub was a plus. Liked the open design of the living area and kitchen.

This exceptionally clean home is a great spot for a quick visit to Asheville. The kitchen is well stocked and the living area is spacious. For us, the beds could stand to be replaced with higher quality mattresses with support. The location seemed a bit questionable but we didn’t spend much time except for the evenings at the home. In terms of access to Asheville activities, things were a reasonable distance, usually within 15-30 minutes. Overall this rental met our needs.

My husband and I wanted a place just outside Asheville that we could use as a home base for brewery stops, hiking and drives along the Blue Ridge Parkway, the Red Hen was perfect! There was a nice little hot tub in the side yard that was perfect for relaxing after a day of hiking and a very good assortment of guidebooks in the living room. The property also abuts Riverside Rhapsody brewing (which closes at 9 so no need to worry about it being too loud at night) Would recommend to anyone staying around Asheville!

My child & I had a wonderful Thanksgiving trip here. We relaxed, cooked some great food, & enjoyed our time here. Everything was cleaned & wonderfully charming:D We will definitely return in the future!! The host was helpful & delightful to chat, thank you!!

Cute cottage. Very clean and well stocked with everything. Neighborhood is a bit industrial but it was quiet. We didn't get to try that restaurant next door but it smelled good. We enjoyed our stay overall even though one of the beds was not comfortable but we switched rooms and it much better the second night.

Love the Red Hen Cottage! This was our second time renting. The location is great for exploring Asheville.

Very industrial area, but it was perfect! Very quiet at night and a quick uber ride to downtown Asheville. The place was very clean and well stocked. It did take us a minute to find one of the beds, but there's a twin size trundle bed in one of the rooms under the queen in case anyone else has that issue! Great property and we would definitely stay here again. Thanks for sharing your place with us!

The Red Hen was the perfect location for what we needed to do in Asheville. It was very cozy and quaint. The brewery next door was perfect for grabbing food and drinks after a long day out. I would definitely return again. Thank you Red Hen!

Very clean and unique home and well stocked kitchen. The house was located very close to a church and another business which were quite loud at times. The church had some type of event going on and the kids were outdoors playing and were really loud. However, overall the location was within minutes of everything downtown Asheville and a nice property. The little hot tub was a nice amenity as well!

House is in a perfect location. The host is always available and responds quickly if you need her. It is very clean and extremely cute.

We had an amazing experience while in Asheville for the holidays! We were within 10 minutes of all the local happenings and within an hour of hiking and outdoor attractions! Highly recommend The Red Hen for anyone looking to come to Asheville but secluded enough from the hustle and bustle! We’ll be back!

This place was amazing to stay at, the Hot tub awesome, and to top it off the BBQ Brewery was right next too us! The food there was really good! Highly recommend staying here 👍

Enjoyed quaint cottage close to town. Next-door to small brewery and on a relatively busy road so not super quiet, if that’s what your seeking.

Very roomy and comfy, do strongly suggest installing a grab bar in the shower, nothing to hang onto😳

This is an adorable, clean cottage located less than 10 minute drive from downtown Asheville. The hot tub is located in an enclosed patio area and was a welcome respite at the end of a busy day exploring. The artistic pieces the owner(s) have chosen to decorate the home were wonderful and the beds are super comfy. The only suggestion we would make would be to provide some guidance on how to navigate Asheville. The brochures they left were helpful, but we did not really know the difference between West Asheville and "regular" Asheville, nor did we know much about the beautiful parkway in the area. We've stayed at probably 50 VRBOs thus far, and it's always helpful to have little tips like where to get groceries, nearest gas station, favorite coffee shops/restaurants, favorite nature outing, etc. If you love where you live, please share your recommendations with travelers! We really appreciate that and it saves us so much time.

Extremely close to Asheville locations yet far enough to enjoy the peaceful setting. Beautiful cottage with a nice yard. We would definitely stay here again!

Everything was perfect! Only suggestions I would have to make the experience better would be to get faster internet and to have more blankets in the home. The house had everything we needed and the location was exceptional.

The owners were responsive & promptly addressed the AC problem. We enjoyed our stay.

This was a cute house with all the essentials we needed for a girls getaway. Jessica was extremely responsive. The house was clean, and the brewery next door was an added perk.

We went in the winter with our two young children. It was a perfect space for us! We were very comfortable lounging around in the living room and playing the board games we found. I enjoyed the hot tub! The location was very close to downtown, maybe 6 minutes, and there was not much noise or traffic. The property was very cute and everything was really well stocked! Such a great property and host! My kids can't wait to go back to "their red cottage".
