Overall this stay was best value for money. Room had all facilities, ideal for group of 3-4, or families. Location is also great .

Parking is slight issue but hosts did inform me about it and shared potential places where I could park.

The owner met us and welcomed us warmly. Our room was very comfortable. The shared bathroom was clean and functioned well. The dining and living areas were well-kept. The basement dining room is really lovely - ancient and rare. Continental breakfast with multiple options. Location was exceptional. Plenty of public street parking and paid parking nearby. We found a free spot to use overnight. If we had needed to pay, it was minimal. I highly recommend this hostel.

The Hostel was perfect. It was clean, comfortable, had everything we needed and the owner was so friendly and welcoming. Situated in such a beautiful location, we wouldn’t hesitate to return!

Everything about this place is awesome.

This hostel is an absolute gem in Caernarfon, the owners are very friendly and helpful, the facilities very useful (eg. large kitchen available for use) and the location is perfect.

They were really helpful for us to find a good parking space in town. We were able to walk everywhere from the hostel and it was really convenient and also so close to the water. It's next door to a bike hire place which was great for us. The room and bathroom were super clean and comfy and the kitchen and dining room were great with everything we needed. We could even have used the washing machine. They catered for my diary intolerance and there was plenty of breakfast to go round, including Peanut butter and Marmite - big happy smile. They were also offering that we could have left our bags in the hostel past check out time.

There wasn't anything I didn't like.

Bob was a fantastic host, made us feel right at home and shared his knowledge of the area with us. We really liked the layout of the place and its a cut above any hostel we've stayed in before. The facilities were fantastic from the huge showers to the dining and kitchen area, everywhere spottless and as for the location, you couldn't ask for a more perfect spot. Will definitely be back again, thanks guys.

Really warm welcome and enjoyed being shown all the facilities in the property. Liked the basement kitchen/breakfast room and the decor. Plenty of carbs to eat in the morning.

Would have appreciated a slightly bigger towel - although that seems a bit trivial given how good everything else was.

Central location. Bright and spacious room / bathroom / lounge. Cheery, fitting decor, which was a nice touch. Large self-catering kitchen.

Window latch rattled when closed - just folded a piece of paper and wedged it in between, which solved the problem.

Great room for 3 adults! Fun and spacious. Full of history . Loved that the bathroom was kind-of separated from sleeping area.

Up several flights of stairs which would be an issue for some folks (but not us!)

Freshly refurbished rooms with new bathrooms. My friend who travels a lot around the world and stay in a lot of hostels said, I quote: "This is one of the best hostels I've stayed in". Great facilities, great location.

Liked everything

Greeted nicely by the owner and shown where to go and explained the breakfast situation etc well. The room was clean and comfortable with enough space for 4 of us. The bathroom facilities, although shared, were clean and modern.

We enjoyed our stay here the lady who greeted us was lovely, location was excellent with the added bonus of a message before arriving letting us know nearest car parks and free parking. The sleeping area and bathrooms were very clean. Sitting area’s comfortable with lots of broachers advertising local places to visit. Downstairs the kitchen area was very clean with plenty of amenities. Breakfast was ample with plenty to chose from,

leaving breakfast out so we could depart early was super helpful.
