Station house was in a Perfect location to get into the main street of Letterkenny the hotel staff were really pleasant and the bar and restaurant was ideal

the car park gets very busy due to the external events the hotel has on at night in the function room. As I arrived late on my first night I had to park on the road outside the hotel as the car park was full. I managed to get in on the other two nights as I moved the car early in the morning when they had a few spare spaces.

It was in a perfection location, the lady at reception couldn’t have been any lovelier or more accommodating. She was an absolute ray of sunshine! We stayed for my boyfriends birthday and not only did we get a beautiful room, a ‘happy birthday’ plate was made up for him which meant the world and was such a sweet gesture. The room was spotless, bed dreamily comfortable and toilet/shower brilliant. Brilliant atmosphere in the bar, and very happy staff. We can’t wait to return again soon.

We couldn’t get a space in the car park, as it is very small for the size and popularity of the hotel. Several other cars had the same issue and it’s too small a carpark for two cars to pass eachother to leave. It was a Saturday though and the bar was very busy, so it maybe wouldn’t as bad during the week. I understand this is something out of the control of the hotel, but maybe taking car registrations would be necessary for busier periods.

Staff were very friendly, there is a nice bar and eaterie . Great location for all routes outward, and for the Main Street entertainment area. Close to major retail outlets and a cinema. The staff graciously allowed an extra half hour on check out.

bed was extremely uncomfortable both our backs were very sore from the hard mattress. There was a strong smell of cigarette smoke on our floor. It appears people are still smoking in their rooms regardless of the smoke free policy.
