Ohana Villas was a very lovely accommodation. Not far from beach and nice restaurants. The swimmingpool, yoga supplies and the great service of Luciano!

Everything very clean. Nice hosts. Quite pool area. Was very relaxing to stay there. Shared kitchen was also always kept clean.

Communication, facilities, location.

A misunderstanding with booking makes us move from one villa to another . Not a convenient thing but that was a booking mistake.

Lovely place, comfortable bed and quiet spot in Santa Teresa. Walking distance to good restaurants and coffee. The manager was nice and helpful. Would come back!

No laundry facilities.

The villas and set up very nice and private. Easy access to local area and beach , and off main road.

Very nice and comfortable apartment, done with taste, next to a beautiful pool with luxuriant plants. Hosts Luciano, Alessandra and Juan were super friendly and helpful, sending all the necessary information before and during our stay. Ohana is very well located with nice cafes and restaurants around and a very short walk to the beach. Recommended !

Great location, quick walk to surf spots and restaurants. Very spacious and comfy room. Beautiful premises (pool, garden etc). Met some great people here.

AC struggled a bit, perhaps with how big the room (lofts) were. So it was cool but never cold. Kitchen said private, but was shared between two rooms - that said it was better this way in the end as we had some friendly neighbors and hung out with them a bit during our stay.

truly beautiful space with everything I could ask for, Juan was very attentive and gave me so much great information on what to do and who to book with. the Villa was beautiful, great amenities and very comfortable and safe.

The jacuzzi didn’t work

The location is central but off the Main Street enough to be quiet. The host was amazing, providing us with all the information we needed/ wanted.

Our unit was on the way to needing a refresh but I can't say I didn't like anything about this place. What we didn't like was the AREA in general. It is like influencers in the wild gone wild, so busy, glam and fake. lf the host recommends Aloha ATV DO NOT RENT FROM THEM. They stole my visa number, which caused all sorts of hassles.

Juan, the property manager went above and beyond to help us with anything from on the premises to tours. Walking distance to some great restaurants and the beautiful beach.

First of all, Santa Teresa features a nice beach and friendly atmosphere. However, I was never out there during night. So, I can't tell anything about the safety of this area by darkness. But during the day it is very peaceful, laid back and in some areas very rural, dusty streets for example. You can do Yoga, relaxing at the beach or go surfing. It might be not the typical Costa Rica atmosphere, but still a few days of relaxing are a good idea. Ohana Villas represents this peaceful atmosphere. You stay literally in the jungle. The rooms are basic, but keep in mind it is not a luxury place. There are just a few other travellers and nobody is annoying you. Therefore, this place is good if you just want to relax a few days, but it is no party place. You also see no staff at all. There is actually just one guy named Juan. He helped us with check in and renting ATV and so on, very helpful indeed. The hotel is protected by two dogs. However, those dogs are very friendly and they sometimes come to you for cuddle. Really nice if you like dogs. At summary, I really liked Ohana Villas and I really enjoyed staying at Santa Teresa.

The place is a little bit too expensive. I am not speaking only about Ohana Villas, but also about Santa Teresa. Hotel and Village are more expensive than average Costa Rica. Therefore, barely no native people living there. Even the workers in the cafes and bars are foreigner people. Keep that in mind when you go there. It will be a shame if Santa Teresa is the only place you go in Costa Rica.

kitchen poorly equipped and great difference in room standard from basic to really nice. Mine was basic and I would have paid for something nicer but there is no way to tell of this great variance in quality when you book. So ask for a more expensive room with nicer furnishings and curtains etc

the place is really nice, surrounded by nature. Facilities are very nice. The apartment is well equipped and nicely arrange. Juan was very helpful before and during the stay. it’s very closed to the beach.

The internet was terrible and very bad reception. the only place we could get a good wifi was at the pool.

Amazing place with great rainforest vibe. Ocean 5 min away, monkeys on trees, great jacuzzi for evening chill, we loved it. Luciano and Juan helped us with everything that we needed, gave us surfing tips and were very nice and accommodating. Ohanavillas is very close to best restaurants in town so if you are traveling to Santa Teresa definitely recommend staying here

Everything was great

Great location, working AC, close to beach access and good restaurants within walking distance. the room was large, and the pool was lovely and relaxing. Juan was very responsive via WhatsApp and they allowed me to check in early, lounge by the pool my day of check out.

the room wasn’t very clean - ring stain in toilet bowl, sand all over the couch, the sheets were so old/thin and pilled. these things I could oversee if I was staying in a hostel but not when I’m paying over $200/night. Maid service only offered every 3rd day, so my room was never cleaned. On my day of checkout the maid was knocking at my door rushing me out at 10:20am. also not the hosts fault - but they arranged a transfer for me to the airport. the driver was 25mins late and caused me to miss my flight to San Jose.

We liked EVERYTHING at Ohana Villas

Very cosy jungle stay! Having a refreshing swim with monkeys in the trees above you. Fantastic experience. +- 200m walk to the beach with the most beautiful sunsets. Juan and Lucio are always there to help you with all request. Would highly recommend.

We received a very warm welcome from Juan and he was willing to give us all recommendations from good restaurants to where to go for surf lessons. The appartment (villa pupa pool) was amazing, had a nice terrace with a comfortable sofa and hammock, the room itself was very clean and spacious! The ohana villas are an oasis of calm and relaxing in a very busy center of Santa Teresa. The pool area was a nice place to chill after surfing. We were happy to call this place our home for a few days, we were sad to leave it! Thank you for everything!
