Our group takes and annual ski trip and this one like others was awesome. The house was perfect for our group of 11. Plenty of space for everyone. The kitchen was well stocked. The house was clean and ready for our arrival. The owner was great with communication. Check in and out so easy. The location was perfect, for walking to lake and traveling to two different mountains for skiing. We also received 8-12 inches of snow and no problem the community had plows out pretty early so didn’t interfere with our plans for the day. And an added bonus we got to enjoy the family of deer that hung out in the back yard. We even discuss renting in the summer to enjoy the area again. The only con I would say is another trash can in kitchen/garage for recycling would be nice but not a major issue. Thanks for an awesome stay and hope to rent again.

In the past when we've rented from other places, we've got into the habit of bringing extra stuff we may need for cooking and for linens and paper towels, etc. This house was really stocked with everything we needed. All the cooking things we used, the towels and linens, even extra toiletries were available for use. Used the grill to BBQ, kids loved the ping pong table and pool table and we enjoyed the Keurig coffee! Beds were comfortable. Super close to Big Boulder Ski and also to a cool short hike at Hawk Falls. Deer roaming through the yard all day long. Host was very accessible for any questions and issues. Definitely recommend!

I rented this property for 3 nights. The place was clean and tidy when we got there. There is a linen closet for us to use anything inside which was great since a few of us forgot to bring towels. The rooms are big and spacious and there was plenty of beds for everyone. Gary the host was very responsive and gracious. He made our stay welcoming and hassle-free. We would definitely come back again.

We had a terrific time in Gary’s house. The listing is accurate. The check-in was seamless. Great open space for hanging out, talking, playing games. Nice large basement with a pool table, air hockey, and ping pong. Gary was very helpful and responsive to any questions we had. Tons of deer around and we even saw a fox twice! Thanks for a great long weekend!

The house is nice and clean. It feels better in person than in the pictures. It is cozy and it has everything one might need for a stay. We had a great weekend there.

We had a wonderful time staying at Gary's warm and welcoming home. The home had everything we needed with a wonderful basement of fun games. Gary was extremely helpful with helping me with the contract as I am not tech savvy. We would love to stay there again.

Everything was clean, organized, cozy, and a fantastic location. The property owner is very responsive. Plenty of room. We would stay again.

The home was very spacious for our group of 8 adults, and Gary was quick to respond to any questions we had. Great porch area/ table and very nice backyard with plenty of space. We had a great experience renting Gary’s home in the Poconos. Gary was exceptionally fast to respond and very helpful with all of the inquiries. He was also exceptionally accommodation with check in and check out times. The flexibility was greatly appreciated given we were traveling with a number of kids. The house itself was spacious, clean, comfortable, and well stocked. I would highly recommend Gary’s home if you’re looking for a nice place in the Poconos managed by a very responsive owner.

We rented the property for a weekend trip away with a group of friends. We had plenty of space for the 10 of us to live, eat, sleep and have numerous activities going on throughout the weekend. The house is very well-appointed with more than just basic necessities available in almost all cases. We cooked meals for our large group and had no trouble preparing a lot of food in the awesome kitchen. The only downside to the cooking area is that two of the grill burners aren't working. We were able to make it work, so no big deal. The only negative our group had in the entire stay was the owner decided to turn off the air conditioning at 1:00 a.m. our first night there because it had cooled down outside. The upstairs was still warm and some of the group was having difficulty sleeping so we had turned it on. We again made the best of it as it was unseasonably cool that weekend (had dropped 20 degrees outside in a day) but we would have liked to have that available to us as even with windows open all day/night it was not very cool in the upstairs bedrooms despite being in the 50s overnight. Overall it was a great house, and the owner answered all questions and was helpful answering questions as we prepared for arrival. Plenty of space and close access to the lake (even though we did not use it in the end).

This is the 4th time my family was able to get away together for a long weekend and this was the best!! Communication with Gary, the owner, was awesome. Everything was exactly as promised and then some. Kitchen was not only beautiful but so well stocked that we didn't need to bring anything. The rest of the house was beautiful as well. I would not hesitate to go again. Thank you again Gary for a wonderful time!!

We spent a few days at this home with 9 children and 5 adults. There was plenty of space to accommodate everyone without feeling cramped. We made dinners there nightly after a day of skiing. The owner was extremely responsive to any questions and issues. The house is about 20 minutes from Jack Frost and less to Big boulder.

Our stay was nice. Only issue we had was with the amazon TV. It only gave us one channel the whole weekend. With kids that’s just not suitable. Spoke with owner upon arrival about it and we tried fixing the issue over the phone but it was never resolved and we didn’t hear back from the owner with a follow up call to see if it was working durning our stay.

The house was perfect! After finishing a 12 person relay, we all came back for dinner, showers and a little relaxing. The house was perfect and we all had hot water to shower! Great house to relax on the patio and the dining area was big enough for all of us. Can’t wait to stay again!!!!!

The property was very nice, neatly kept and well furnished. With 5 bedrooms it was perfect for our reunion/get together (5 families plus few kids). Loved the porch/patio, backyard (open to woods). Kitchen and dining was huge and convenient. Especially with kids, we could cook something very quickly and as needed. The community is beautiful (wooded areas, where you could watch squirrels and deers pass by. [kids loved them]), and a very short walk to the community center/waterfront with kiddie play area just on the shore. Just need to make sure you follow checking out instructions (switching off electricals, washing/cleaning used linens, taking out trash etc). But overall loved the property.

Stayed over at the house with family. Great location, walking distance to the beach and pool yet far away from all the traffic, even though there was none as the community is very quiet. There is a huge basement with table tennis, pool table and air hockey that kept us entertained for hours on those long nights and during rainy days. Quite a number of board games for all ages. If you feel like laze out on the couch, you can do in front of Amazon Fire TV with access to unlimited entertainment with a cozy fireplace warming up the room on colder nights. Fully stocked kitchen and large dining. We could grill on the open deck and sit in the screened porch without any discomfort from insects. Great landscaped lawn allowed us to take a walk on the dewy grass in the morning and play speedmignton in the evening when the sun was pleasantly setting. We had a fantastic stay and would definitely comeback for more.
