Easy to find, excellent customer service, spacious room

It wold be have been nice to have a vanity, plug at the mirror - to do hair & make up

The views at this location are truly breathtaking. We found the accommodation to be super-comfortable and the chilled bottle of wine on arrival was a treat! Loved that the pool was open for swimming at any time, day or night.

The service at the restaurants did not live up to the excellent standards set on the accommodation side. Menu options were a bit disappointing and the service was s-l-o-w to say the least.

Amazing location on the estate, the cleanliness of the room (pool suite), the decor and the amazing staff.

There is lots of staff at the restaurants, more than needed, then put someone at the pool instead. No one cleans up, when there is wind, the umbrellas fell into the pool which I had to take out myself. Pool will be cleaner then too. It was ok, but can be better

Sehr schöne Einrichtung, toller Pool, sehr sauber, schönes Gelände, Wanderung in den Weinbergen möglich, gutes Frühstück.

Sonntags haben alle drei Restaurants auf dem Weingut nur bis 17 Uhr geöffnet.Letzte Bestellung von Essen um 15:20 Uhr möglich, da die Küche um 16 Uhr schließt. Es ist also nicht möglich dort abends zu essen, auch nicht für die Hotel-Gäste. Wir versuchten mit einem Uber in die Stadt (Paarl) zu kommen, keine Chance, kein Fahrer stand zur Verfügung. Wir hatten einen Tisch im einzigen Restaurant in der Nähe reserviert (10 Min Autofahrt, zum laufen zu weit und nachts keine gute Idee), welches Sonntag abends geöffnet war. Selbst fahren war nicht möglich, da wir alle Wein trinken wollten, wenn wir schon in den Winelands sind. Die Rezeption hatte ab 16 Uhr ebenfalls geschlossen. Man sitzt also Sonntags ab 17 Uhr auf einem geschlossenen Weingut ohne eine Essensmöglichkeit. Auch der kleine Farmerstore auf dem Gelände schließt Sonntags um 14 Uhr. Die Rezeption hat zuvor keinen Fahrer organisieren können und ebenfalls keine Taxi-Nummer aushändigen können. Nicht mal eine Vorwarnung bekommt man bzgl. der Einschränkungen von den Mitarbeitern. Wir haben zuvor selbst rausgefunden, dass wir dort Sonntag Abend nicht essen können. Den reservierten Tisch im Restaurant im Ort konnten wir jedoch nicht erreichen. Wir haben über Uber Eats nach 2h Suche noch eine Pizza bestellen können. Dass man seinen eigenen Hotelgästen kein Essen Sonntag Abends anbieten kann und auch keinen Fahrer organisieren kann, ist einfach nur enttäuschend.

Beautiful location, peaceful and old world charm. Good restaurants close by and a deli shop with lovely snacks and wine to buy.
