Nice villa good location and comfy beds

Roundabout the house it is very quiet , no big streets mostly nature . In the house you find everything you need and you can live like at home . we have been there the last week in march and the nights have been cold aboet 10 degrees . We could heat with the aircondition , and two electric ovens fastly . After coming from our daily tours , we don ´t want to leave the house and could relax there .

We had the pleasure of staying this week at the lodge and had an amazing experience. The property was well equipped and felt like a comfortable home rather than a cold rental property. The outdoor areas were wonderful and was great to come home after a day touring to swim in the pool and BBQ surrounded by the lush garden. Debbie was incredibly helpful during the booking process as were Melanie and Paul welcoming when we arrived. We would happily stay here again when visiting Cyprus! Thank you!

We had 2 weeks in the villa which was kitted out with everything we needed, one thing I would mention is the outsideTable and chairs were a bit dated and there were always ants all over it no matter if we washed it or not so was unsuitable for us plus we never liked the overgrown tree/creeper plant that was over the top of the pergola, as I say this it is a personal opinion and not a complaint, loved the pool and the location was walkable to Tala but needed a car to get to Coral bay and Paphos, Deborah the owner had great communication with us and was really helpfull with instructions, all in all a great place to stay

We have the most relaxing stay in this villa. Tala is a beautiful and quiet part of Cyprus and would definitely recommend if you want to get away from the tourist areas. A rental car is also recommended as it would be quiet costly to commute to the beach and supermarkets. The villa was clean and had plenty of space for a family of 4. The pool was great and the kids loved it and would be playing to the early evening. The villa is not overlooked and the well kept gardens provide privacy from the road. The only let down was the BBQ, as ideally is may be due an upgrade, but we would not let that stop us from returning to this villa. We had the warmest of welcomes from Melanie & Paul, allowing for an early check in. This was our second stay at The Lodge in Tala, having had such a wonderful time previously. We were pleasantly surprised to discover that Deborah has made some improvements to the property, including brand new air conditioning. The Lodge is the perfect villa for what we are looking for in a holiday. It's in a beautiful quiet location, not at all over-looked and is just a short drive, or slightly longer walk to the gorgeous village square, which has a few places to get a bite to eat or a drink. The Lodge is well maintained and has all the amenities you need. A real home from home. Deborah is a wonderful host. She always replies to messages promptly and does all she can to make your stay as enjoyable as possible.

We have had a wonderful stay at The Lodge, really comfortable little villa, all mod cons you would find at home, just ideal. Weather was great, people very friendly, lovely restaurants in the village and further afield in Paphos. Lovely quiet neighbourhood and have just had the most relaxing time. Paul who met us at the villa on arrival was charming and gave us some handy tips re supermarkets, beaches etc. A wonderful holiday had by all!

This is a lovely villa, so comfortable with everything you need. Location is excellent, 5-10 minute walk to the local village with a range of restaurants and Mario’s bar with the cheapest drinks and best service in Cyprus.

Everything was as described, the beds were extremely comfortable and the pool was more than we expected. The weather was very hot, averaged 38 degrees so walking about was kept to a minimum. Melanie and Paul were so helpful. It was one of the best villas we have stayed in

This is our fifth visit to this villa and it just gets better. The villa is in a great spot....beautiful views, 15 minute walk into Tala where there are restaurants and bars and tho it's close to town it's setting is peaceful and secluded. The villa is extremely well resourced meaning you're not having to shop for the more basic items. Additionally shopping can be requested to be in place for your arrival. A bonus if like us you arrive late at night / early morning. Fly screens are fitted at each window, and very effective fans meant that for us in September we didn't use the air conditioning. The villa, pool and gardens are very well cared for by the support team. There are lots of beautiful villages locally to explore. The coast and Paphos are a short drive away. Thanks to the owner and her support team for another wonderful stay. We shall return.

Many thanks to the hosts! it was a wonderful stay! Everything was clean and even more beautiful than in the photos! The coffee in the morning with a view of the sea was terrific! What we can definitely recommend is the Cabana Beach Bar! And while you're there, rent a buggy and drive up the coast to lara beach! Wonderful ! Otherwise, ask about the ship wreck, there is a restaurant there and I guarantee you have never eaten such delicious food! again and again !

Could not fault this beautiful villa in Tala. Spotlessly clean, spacious, fully equipped with everything you’ll need, in a quiet area but walking distance to the village which has several excellent bars and restaurants. The gardens and pool area are relaxing and private and we can’t wait to get back there next year.

The whole experience could not be simpler and once you are there it is so relaxing. Amazing view, beautiful garden and so peaceful. Close to lots of amenities. Couldn’t ask for more .

We have been visiting Tala for many years and have stayed in a wide variety of accommodation. I can honestly say that The Lodge is, without doubt, the cleanest, best kept & most beautiful property we have ever stayed in. So much so that we booked a return visit for next year whilst we were there! Deborah is a wonderful host. Always prompt to reply to emails and genuinely does all she can to make your stay easy and relaxed. The villa itself is well equipped with quality appliances and has everything you could possibly need for your stay. The pool is beautiful and serviced twice a week and the garden is a joy. The location is quiet, secluded, not overlooked at all and has a beautiful view out to the ocean. Vic, Deborah ‘s father, only lives a few doors away and is a wonderful host who will meet you on arrival and is always on hand should you need anything. This villa, combined with Deborah and Vic’s desire to make it the perfect stay really makes this property a special find and I couldn’t recommend it highly enough.

The property is great we had a perfectly tranquil week in the sunshine sat by a very inviting pool for those very hot days. Deborah is a very attentive host and the directions from the airport were most helpful Being meet with some shopping and a cheerful hello at 01:00 in the morning due to the late flight was just what we needed. The villa is a great spot to explore from, this being our third trip to Cyprus we finally got round to visiting the Tombs of the Kings All in all highly recommended if you’re looking for a peaceful couples getaway in a gorgeous secluded garden

Loved our stay. Villa was well equipped, clean and comfortable. Garden was beautiful with a well maintained and good size swimming pool. Communication from hosts was really good, and instructions for arrival/departure were clear so everything went smoothly. Highly recommended, we had a fantastic time here.

We came to Tala, Cyprus to attend a wedding and were so impressed with our property. Everything was thought about, including providing tablets for the dishwasher and milk in the fridge when we arrived. The pool and surrounding gardens were amazing and there was all sorts of extras, lilos, snorkels etc which the lovely owner who lived next door said we could help ourselves to. We have just returned home after having a wonderfully relaxing week at this property. This villa is charming, its set in a beautiful rural area, and is only minutes from Tala square which was a real gem to find being traditional and rustic offering fabulous food and local wine. The villa itself is spacious and has every possible thing you could need - a real home from home. We enjoyed eating and drinking on the terrace overlooking the pool with sights of the sea and glorious sunset in the distance, with only the noise of cicadas in the background . Upon arrival we were met by the owners, who are warm, friendly and happy to assist. Overall - we have had a glorious week and would recommend this place to all.

We were looking for a very quiet week in the sun and got exactly that. The house is in a very peaceful location. I'm afraid we didn't eat out much but mainly barbecued and had salads sitting on the verandah. We'd definitely go back to this house if or when we return to Cyprus

We just came back from a wonderfull holiday in the lodge. It is a place that invites to relax. - lovely garden, beautiful view to the sea - we all loved the swimmingpool - quiet place even though in a touristical area - practical house; everything you need is there We were greeted by the parents of the owner, Viic and Hazel, who made us feell very welcome. Close to paphos, akamas peninsula, turtle beach, ,kourion and much more. We will return for sure!

I would highly recommend the lodge to anyone visiting Cyprus. The lodge had everything you need and more. The villa is so private with a lovely well kept garden. Inside, the villa is spotless with an attic full of stuff to keep kids and adults entertained around the pool!

We really enjoyed our stay in Cyprus, and especially in this decent house. The property is very clean, orderly and well equipped. The neighborhood is quite and very clean, too. Even though the location is quite remote, which was exactly what we were looking for, the sea and many more activities are just a heartbeat away from the house. A great thank you goes to Deborah as well as Vic and Hazel, who gave us a warm welcome and excellent advice during our stay.

The villa was a lovely for our home from home holiday. Situated 20 minutes from the airport, we were met by the owners when we arrived even though it was after midnight! They provided a cot, highchair and toys for my 8 month old, which saved us bringing everything. The property was clean and had everything we needed for our 7 day getaway. The location is quiet and remote which was perfect for us as I hadn't realized how commercialized Paphos is. As previous people have said a car is essential. It was too early in the year to use the pool but the gardens were beautiful to sit and relax in. Would reccommend for a family holiday!

We have just returned from a lovely holiday, our first to Cyprus. We arrived on a very late flight and to be met by Vic with the keys and a quick run down of the house was indicative of the care and attention to detail given to The Lodge and to those staying there. The house is around a 30 minute easy drive from Paphos airport. The Lodge is very well equipped and extremely comfortable, a home from home. Everything has been considered to ensure your stay is as simple and stressfree as possible. The property is private with lovely views, enhanced by the beautiful garden and pool. We were travelling as a couple but can see this is clearly a great location for a family holiday. But for us as a couple it was a peaceful and relaxing place away from everything yet within a short walk from Tala village centre where we went for a drink and to eat on several occasions. The kitchen has new, good quality appliances including a large fridge/freezer and we made the most of the kitchen and outside space. Outside the kitchen door there is a table and chairs where we ate breakfast on all but one morning and in the evenings we sat by the huge table on the veranda under the beautiful wisteria. The Lodge is a short drive from Paphos - a car is essential to make the most of the location - there is a local shop in Tala with good supplies and there are supermarkets on the outskirts of Paphos which were an easy 10 - 15 minute drive away. We also discovered the Papantoniou bakeries - definitely worth a visit for their delicious cakes and desserts! Vic and Hazel live along the road and are on hand if you have any questions, as is Melanie, but they don't intrude on your holiday at all. It goes without saying that The Lodge is clean and well-maintained. Deborah was brilliant at responding to our enquiries during the booking process and making sure we had all the information needed before we arrived. We loved Paphos and its mixture of old and new. You can step up a side street and find a cafe or restaurant with good, local food. We particulary loved Mother's Restaurant which is near the Paphos Mosaics - very welcoming with fabulous Cypriot food. The Paphos archeological site was so fantastic we went twice! We also recommend a visit to rural Fyti and the traditional silk weaving lady. Everyone we met was warm and friendly. It has been a fabulous holiday and look forward to returning.

We enjoyed our stay at the lodge very much, the house and garden and second to none, lovely views and very private gardens, the caretakers are really diligent with their cleaning, very helpful and friendly. and the house itself is tasteful and cosy . comfortable beds and a super large bath, and a separate shower en suite, and a shower room and extra loo also. I can genuinely say - we loved our stay, and will definately visit again. there are lovely restaurants in Paphos and they have many supermarkets, inc Lidl. not far from the airport , but a car is a must . I am sure you will enjoy your stay as much as we did, should you decide to rent this fantastic holiday home. Wendy and Steve Brown

The Lodge, Tala was excellent and was all we had hoped for and more. Melanie and Paul could not have been more welcoming and helpful. The accommodation in the villa lived up to and exceeded our expectations. The villa was spacious, airy and very comfortable even in the evenings when the humidity was at its highest. We explored the village and had dinner in the square on a couple of occasions and found everyone friendly and welcoming. I would recommend that a car is an essential if you are staying at this property.

I am just back from one of the best holidays I have ever had. The Lodge is perfect for a relaxing get away. As a teacher I don't know why I have not done this before - away from the crowds and noise it was perfect. Being in the hills we had a pleasant breeze most days which made the heat of summer more enjoyable. The garden and pool were beautiful and we never tired from looking out at the sea from the veranda. The rooms in the Lodge I think are bigger than the photos suggest. The living room has a two and three seater sofa. There were more channels on the TV than I had a home and Mel was very good at explaining how you can watch catch up TV from the box. The bathrooms were very modern and clean ( and had mains sewerage which made things easier.) The drinking water tap in the kitchen was also another pleasant surprise. I really didn't want to come home.

We had an amazing holiday in The Lodge which is a beautiful property. Extremely well equipped with wonderful views and within easy reach of many interesting places. The Lodge is situated in a peaceful location is very private and not overlooked. It is the most relaxing holiday we have ever experienced. Many thanks to Melanie and Paul for their wonderful welcome and for rescuing us when we got lost on our first day. We would definitely like to return in the future. Lyn and son Scott.
