The house and property were beautiful. However, I think you need to know that your cleaning service is not horrible. I went to take bath last Friday night and found hair and grit in the bath tub. Saturday as I was making coffee I found someone's used coffee filter with old soggy coffee still in the coffee maker. Then, as I went to put toast in the oven I found a cookie sheet that had crumbs still on it. After all of this I was starting to wonder if we were even sleeping on clean sheets. Another area of improvement that is needed is the need for more area rugs. Especially beside the beds, door entry ways, kitchen and living room. No rugs made for a lot of dirt tracked on the floor, loud sound throughout the house and lack of overall comfort. The kitchen needed more dish towels. Two small ones is not enough. You offer a nice big fire pit,but no firewood. I've stayed in cabins in Oklahoma that all have firewood outside next to the fire pit. The master bedroom desperately needs lamps on the bedside tables as well as a real closet to store clothes properly. I was getting married last weekend and didn't have room to hang our dress clothes and my wedding dress/bag. Last, a huge disappointment for having to wait 48 hours prior to my departure for a request for late checkout. I requested this last Thursday and was told I had to wait one more day then they would get back with me. I waited the appropriate amount of time only to be told that my request was denied. Why could they have not just told me that on Thursday? Surely it wasn't because your cleaning crew couldn't come any later to clean because from what we experienced they didn't do that good of a job. I also don't think it was worth my $170.00 "cleaning service fee" that I was charged. Last, this property needs a game of corn hole or a built in horseshoe pit below the balcony. Families would love to play a game of either while cooking outside and enjoying the fire pit.

We came for a spring break trip with kids and grandparents. As we pulled up we saw deer all over the yard. What a fun surprise. The outdoor area is great to relax in and the inside was clean and updated. We do wish there would have been a keurig coffee maker and ability to sign TVs into internet for streaming service (which there may be a way to but we couldn’t figure out) But hey we didn’t come to watch TV, but to get outside We enjoyed hanging outside, relaxing inside, and visiting all of the area attractions while we were there. Thanks for having us.

Quiet and well laid out family area

We loved our stay in this cute cabin! The finishes were really beautiful and looked brand new. The house in basically full windows which is so wonderful. We saw deer the whole time we were there! The kitchen is large and well appointed. The beds and linens were comfortable. There are TVs in every room. My only comment would be that the upstairs loft rooms have very steep ladders. I had a teen so I felt ok but even a medium sized child could easily fall. Thankfully there is a big bunk room for those that shouldn’t access the lofts.

Property was great. Clean spacious and quiet. Great place to getaway relax and enjoy the hill country

We really enjoyed our stay at the Magnolia Haus! The location was great & we loved the seclusion of the property. The house was clean & had everything we needed. We hope to return soon!

This home was beautifully designed and maintained. The location made for easy access to amenities on the lake and in New Braunsfels. I would highly recommend this home to friends and family.

I wish I could upload some of my photos as this is one of those properties that is actually better in person than the photo's they have posted. The outdoor areas were great, the indoor space was perfect for our family. We had our oldest daughter, her husband and new baby, teenage daughter and her boyfriend, the loft rooms were perfect for them and my wife and I. Just had a wonderful time and would stay there again for sure.

This home has it ALL! It's spacious, luxurious, great for families. The views are awesome and you've got so much privacy. The beds are SO comfy and yiu can't really hear anything between rooms so you'll sleep soundly even if others are still up. We loved sipping coffee on the back deck and watching the deer stroll through just after sunrise. My family was so sad to leave but we're excited to return again in the future.

From the moment you pull up, you are taken back into time with the antique cabin feel. Upon entering, you are welcomed by a scenic wrap around view of the exquisite natural surroundings. Daily, we encountered deer, cardinals, coyotes, and foxes. The rustling sounds of the trees provided a relaxing ambiance. We made s’mores by the campfire and cooked out daily. Everything about this house is what we expected and more. The most important take away from this trip is the everlasting memories we created. I highly recommend this house.

Fantastic property! House was extremely clean, great location and the property was stunning. We loved feeling like we were right at home and enjoyed seeing the wildlife in the mornings and evenings.

Weekend getaway from Houston with my husband and teenage sons. House was absolutely perfect!! Love, love, love the interior decor!!!! SPECTACULAR!!!! We rented a boat and went skiing on Canyon Lake, as well as kayaking on the Guadalupe. Needed more time....so we will be back!

We had a lovely stay !! Lots of space outdoors for kids to play and saw deer/wildlife almost every day. My only 1 suggestion is to fix the dishwasher as it would always leave residue on the plates.

We stayed 5 nights. This is an excellent property. Plenty of wildlife. We saw deer every morning and evening and the kids enjoyed feeding them. The property is immaculate. Would highly recommend to anyone.

We had a wonderful time at the Magnolia Haus and I know we will visit again. The house is beautiful and comfortable. We loved the big windows, decor and floor plan. My teenagers loved the private loft rooms which are accessible by very steep ladders appropriate for older kids or agile adults only. The surrounding neighborhood is nothing special, but it does not detract from this gem. The setting is very quiet and secluded. We saw plenty of deer, foxes and even wild turkeys during our stay. Lake access is a short drive away. There is also a lovely Brookshire Brothers supermarket nearby. My only suggestions for improvement would be new sheets for the master bedroom; the top sheet had permanent stains that looked like mold. The dishwasher also needed a good cleaning. There was a thick film on the bottom even after running it. At a minimum, the drain/filter probably needed to be cleaned out. The Calphalon cooking pots are also due for replacement; the coatings were well worn/scratched. Otherwise, we loved everything about our stay.

We really enjoyed the stay at this property. It was well thought out with everyone having their own space and privacy. The design materials were high end yet comfortable. We loved the privacy and location of the property. Our only cons would be the dishwasher had a very strong smell and lots of lawn tools some dangerous laying around the property.

My husband and I spent our Valentine's Day and Weekend at the Magnolia Haus and ended up staying another night! It was so quiet, romantic and plenty of room. Very well thought out concept and loved the backyard and scenery. Will definitely return soon.

Beautifully crafted full of windows on the lake. Comfortable furniture. The lofts were too small for the claustrophobic, but clean and cozy. The master bedroom far exceeded the 2nd bedroom and two lofts so someone needs to pay extra if two couples stay. Pretty rural but worth the drive.
