Cottage had everything we could ask for. Plenty to do in Beer. Parked the car and it never moved all week. So many lovely walks and the locals were so friendly. Relaxed and clean place to stay. Cannot wait to go back!! Oh and our two little dogs loved it too. Met some lovely like minded people. The Deli is so good and all three pubs were friendly and dog friendly too. Lady in post office was so helpful when I had a parcel delivered but it went to wrong Crabtree Cottage.

Crabpot Cottage was everything we could have asked for. The bed was really comfortable, enabling a great nights sleep. The bathroom is very roomy, offering a heated towel rail. We enjoyed cooking some of our meals in the very well equipped kitchen. The location was perfect. We would love return one day to this beautiful place.

Loved the beach yards away from the cottage which is in the pretty village of Beer with fantastic walks and scenery - we loved Beer so much we only used the car once in a week - 3 pubs and lots of eateries and we enjoyed breakfast on the beach from Chappels several mornings although you have to be aware of the seagulls but worth it ! Watched the fishing boats coming ashore in the evening. Enjoyed the live music in the Dolphin and the best bit was we had scorching weather every day all week - the most perfect relaxed holiday and most places dog friendly which was good for us and our dog. We definitely intend going back to lovely Crabpot Cottage in the future. Also lovely independent shops in the village and craft fayre at the weekends.

Great place to stay. Close to beach and amenities. Clean and tidy accommodation. Owners very friendly and helpful. Looking forward to our next visit.

Lovely cottage, ideally situated. Rather a cool week, so could have used some additional heating. Very comfortable otherwise.

Lovely cottage in prime location near the beach

It was perfect for our stay. Could have done with control of the heating and towel rail. Heating was too hot for us and the towel rail wasn't hot at the times we needed it to dry our towels. Having said that the property is lovely and we'll be back again.

This was our second stay at Crabpot Cottage - its such a cosy, well appointed and pretty little cottage, and just a stone's throw from the quay. Perfect in every way, I'm sure we'll be back!

A beautiful cottage in a charming location. All amenities and the beach right on the doorstep. Good walks with amazing views along the coastal paths. If you take your doggo, there is no enclosed outside space

Generally good, however oven shelves dirty and microwave door was badly corroded and therefore not hygienic. Photographs have been taken and copies can be provided if required.

Crabpot cottage is truly a delight, excellently presented with all the amenities you could possible require. Fantastically located at the centre of Beer which we found to be a beautiful quaint village with a number of restaurants and bars that were all dog friendly . Highly recommend!

Easy to rent well organised

Lovely busy village and very quiet in the evenings. Good local places to visit and plenty of things to do.

Crabpot cottage was easy to find and in a great location. On arrival it seemed exactly what we expected. We had a really good stay in the cottage and enjoyed visiting Devon and Dorset. The bed was probably the most comfortable bed we had slept in in a holiday home. The bedding was very nice and as good as new. Unfortunately there were a few niggles and ones which don't need a lot to put right. Hence the still high scores. We had to wash some of the crockery and cutlery before we could use it. The oven seems extremely old and needs some attention/renewing. The oven temperature was variable sometimes too quickly or too slowly. The glass shelf in the bathroom over the sink needs to be removed. It is a safety hazard, especially for taller people. I knocked my forehead a few times. The shower is very poor. We had to take the shower head out of the holder to rinse of soap. Why not get rid of the electric shower and just use the hot water from the tank. I am sure that the water pressure would be better. The big bugbear though was the inability to turn the heating on and off, or even change the temperature of the radiators. The one behind the sofa seems pointless. Luckily we had only one cold rainy morning were we stopped in. Then we used the heater in the lounge to try and warm the whole cottage. These issues can be solved very easily and if they were we would gladly use Crabpot Cottage again.

Crabpot Cottage was perfect for our long weekend in Beer, the cottage was very clean and very well decorated and equipped. We also appreciated the extra touches like the parking permit and the basket of local produce left for us.

perfect position and a lovely cottage and very quaint village everything was very good however heating is on timer and the weather was very wet meaning it would have been handy to control radiators - there is an electric fire and you can call owners to adjust radiators but how long that would have taken i dont know - only a problem due to weather!

Myself and my wife have just returned from Beer. The cottage is ideally situated close to the beach and is well equipped for an enjoyable and relaxing break. Beer is a lovely village and we would love to return and stay in Crabpot cottage

Lovely, well equipped cottage in a perfect position in Beer. It has everything you need. Came with permit for the nearby car park and a very welcome basket of goodies was an unexpected surprise. Highly recommended!
