Fiona's villa is absolutely incredible. The views of the Ionian sea are breathtaking, and the pool was a real in the Corfu heat. En suite bathrooms in each of the four bedrooms, lots of nooks on verandas and balconies, a beautiful main room with living area, dining room and kitchen - every aspect of this home is delightful. We loved the proximity to Afionas, a 5 minute drive, where we ate dinner nightly. This was certainly one of our best vacation rentals ever.

Superb living accommodation on the middle floor which is cleverly designed with an elevated dining area in the centre of an open area including kitchen, dining and lounge areas. The panoramic views from here were fantastic. As we had a couple of rain affected days (luck of the draw in October!), we made use of the good selection of DVDs on the high quality equipment. Bedrooms are large, comfortable and peaceful. Electricity was knocked out a couple of times caused by storms but this was fixed quickly. Had on or two hot water issues which I believe were down to the storms affecting the electric. Outdoor dining area is substantial and the built in BBQ is a great asset. Could not find any logs to use on the fire pit or the fire place in the lounge - we could have tried to buy some but didn't get around to it. Pool is more of a plunge pool rather than a swimming pool but in hot weather, this would be a lovely place to cool off and take in the amazing view out towards the islets and the island of Mathraki. Sunsets are spectacular here. One good restaurant in walking distance (Night Owl) and many more a short drive away. The one we enjoyed the most was Anemos in Afionas. Would definitely recommend this villa.

We had an amazing stay in the villa!!! The villa wasn’t easy to find as it was dark when we arrived but people are super friendly and help whenever they can! The villa is in the most beautiful location and we felt like being at home !!! Would come again!

Great villa in a fantastic location. The villa is very spacious and well furnished / equipped. Amazing views from the villa, particularly the sunsets which we usually enjoyed from the pool! Plenty of great beaches and places to eat / drink nearby - the Night Owl was a particular favourite. Finally, Fiona is a great host. Recommended.

The villa is located on a hill which gives incredible views into the Agios Georgios bay and the coastline up to Arillas. If you love a sunset, then this villa and area of Corfu could quite possibly provide some of the most amazing sunset views any where in the world. The villa is very spacious with amazing panoramic views from the various balconies and large living room area. We are a family of 4 (2 adults and 2 children) so the 3 ground floor double bedrooms were perfect for us. My wife’s sister was also holidaying with us so the separate top floor double bedroom was ideal as this gave her some space of her own. The villa is in a good location with a number of great restaurants within a 5 to 10 minute drive. There are plenty to choose from if you jump in the car and pop into either Arillas or Agios Georgios, our favourites being Ammos Beach Bar or Thalassa Restaurant in Arillas or Katoi Restaurant in Agios Georgios. However, if you want something a little bit special which is ideally situated to really make the most of these very special Corfu sunsets it’s well worth visiting the places below. One of our favourites was the Panorama restaurant which is about a 5 minute drive on the road up to Afionas. There is also Porto Timoni restaurant which is about 5 mins further past the Panorama restaurant right on the tip of the Porto Timoni peninsula. There is a car park at the restaurant but the road leading to this is very narrow. Another great bar / restaurant well worth a visit to get the most of the evening sunsets is Molino Seaside Cocktail Bar which is at the far southern end of Agios Georgios beach down a tiny bumpy dirt track right along the edge of the shore line. Another very popular and worthwhile visit is 7th Heaven Restaurant at Logas Sunset Beach. This is about a 25 minute drive but well worth the drive - make sure you book a day in advance though. As well as stuffing your face with food the villa is also ideally located to be in a nice quiet rural position, but still within easy driving distance for all the local amenities such as supermarkets, ATM’s and bars etc all easily accessible in Arillas or Agios Georgios. We hired a small speed boat for the afternoon from San Stefano on Arillas beach. This was good value and great way to explore the local coastline. All in all we had a fantastic week in this lovely villa, and were pleasantly surprised at how beautiful the island of Corfu is, especially the North West area.

We are a family of 4 with two children aged 9 and 7 and stayed in Villa Panayia in August 2018. Fiona provided us with useful essential info before we left and there was a book of suggestions and local info at the villa which became our bible! We had a wonderful two weeks. The villa is very spacious with loads of storage space in each of the bedrooms. The kitchen is very well equipped for those who want to cook. There’s an outdoor BBQ area which we used a few times. But the best thing about this villa is the location and views - simply stunning I never tired of looking at them and oh the sunsets!! It felt a bit decadent having such a large house to oursevies. It would easily fit 2 families / family with grandparents or a few couples. There were so many balconies terraces and seating areas we barely managed to use them all in our 2 weeks! We’d never been to Corfu before but the surrounding area is beautiful. Three lovely beaches all within a very short drive (and easy to park even in August). There are some lovely local restaurants within walking distance in Afionas and a short drive into Arillas. The restaurants also have stunning views and weren’t too crowded. Local people were so friendly and welcoming. All in all a fantastic holiday and we would love to go back.

The villa is absolutely stunning in every way. Light and airy living accommodation with generous proportions. The villa is nicely furnished with a balcony and terrace for each day of the week! The children enjoyed the swimming pool which was great for a cool down in July with temperatures around 30c. The views are delightful towards the sea and islands beyond. The sunsets are something special. The villa sits proudly in an elevated position and is a short walk to the night owl Taverna circa 15 minutes stroll. Lovely hosts and epic pork chops. There are several other tavernas nearby including Panorama which are equally good. The local beaches are great including Agios Stefanos and Georgious. We hired a motor boat for half a day and explored the coastline and other beaches unreachable by foot! If you are considering a holiday in Corfu you will not be disappointed by this Villa and the location.

Afionas was by far the most beautiful, tranquil & authentic village in Corfu. We had the best time and would definitely return to villa Panayia. Thank you Fiona!

We chose this villa as it was a holiday to celebrate my big birthday and I wanted to take my parents and my 3 adult children. I couldn't have made a better choice. The villa was breathtaking, big enough to allow us all our own space. The views were spectacular from every angle and the owners has made sure there was comfortable outdoor seating to enjoy every view. The villa was very well appointed with everything we needed. Sia, the lady who looks after the villa for the owner lived over the road with her family. They were so friendly and hospitable. They showed us round her little farm, cooked a barbecue for us for a very good price and were available for any questions. The area was uncommercialised and quiet yet with plenty to do. Beautiful beaches and restaurants/tavernas with such friendly people. Our favourite beach was Agiuos Georgius as we could swim out for a long swim there. The water is so clear.. Our favourite restaurant was Dianysis with views to die for. Walking distance for some but the Night Owl is definitely walking distance for a drink in the evening. I can't recommend this villa enough. A huge Thankyou to Fiona and Adrian.

The villa is beautiful with stunning views. Although a car is needed, you don't have to go too far to find a beach, taverna or supermarket. The locals are extremely helpful and make you feel so welcome, what more can you ask for.

We travelled to Corfu as a whole family : 2 grandparents, 3 daughters, 1 son-in-law & 2 grandchildren. We spent 14 happy days @ the villa where all our diverse range of needs were met. I cannot over emphasise the high quality of all aspects of the living space....it is a place that allows for both 'community' & 'privacy'...the building is a pleasure to be in. The 3 stories & open glazing provide you with access to the most exquisite land...sky ...& sea scapes that consistently change throughout the day. It is a luxury villa set within a geographical context of rugged beauty....it is an area of authenticity .. a great place for a holiday.

Fiona was absolutely brilliant with her communications with a host of information before we left on holiday - including road conditions!! Lovely to talk to and very accommodating. The house is massive with bedrooms on two separate levels - all ensuite with good linens and extra blankets, all bedrooms had wardrobes and bureaus. Each bedroom had it's own private terrace or balcony that isn't overlooked by any of the other bedrooms' areas and each had an AMAZING view! Despite only using 2 of the 4 bedrooms, we found ourselves standing in the vacant rooms balcony doors to watch the views. Communal area on 2nd floor was huge an open plan, kitchen well equipped, and living room comfortable. The best feature (besides the views, of course) was the fireplace as it was chilly when we were there and we were mostly home-bound because no shops were open for season yet. Views - so many of them!!! There's morning sun outside the kitchen with coffee and pastries, then afternoon on the downstairs back terrace, then afternoon sun in the front by the pool, then late afternoon sun asleep after 2 glasses of wine on the cushy outdoor sofa! Sunsets out front any any balcony and at least a 250 degree panorama over mountains, past two bays, two peninsulas and even over to Albania with snow capped mountains in the far distance. We listened to turkeys, roosters, all sorts of bird life, the smell of honey and sweet flower nectar in the air. Idyllic! Locally, you can reach agios, arillas and San Stefanos easily and plenty to explore and do there - when they are 'open for business'. Easy enough trip down to Palaiokastritsa, which was lovely and a nice change if you want something just a LITTLE busier, and again amazing turquoise water. Try to drive to the top of the hill for stunning views, the monestary there is quite nice too. Eat at the Night Owl and maybe even Mon Amour Taverna. Great food! The housekeeper/local contact Sia was fantastic with advice, lives just next door and even sent me home with a bag of goodies. Not to mention the house and grounds were SPOTLESS!!!! I will go back again, promise! And the ONLY place I'd stay is at Fionas!!!
