Une très belle villa idéalement située pour découvrir l'Algarve.

Our vacation in Casa Josephina was amazing. The photos in the website do not do justice to this beautiful house. It is really nice and cosy. Even if the property is so big the areas are really well thought and one can spend really a nice time.

Nous avons passé une superbe semaine dans cette villa où l'on se sent immédiatement comme chez soi. Tout est très bien pensé pour profiter pleinement avec différents espaces aménagés pour la farniente et le plaisir. Les photos correspondent et les propriétaires sont super sympas, disponibles et à l'écoute. Ils répondent rapidement à nos moindres interrogations. Quel plaisir de passer une semaine dans une ambiance aussi sereine !! Le petit café et les commerçants à proximité sont très cool ainsi que le gérant. Merci à Mr et Me WALLACE de partager de leur petit paradis.

Our second holiday at Casa Josephina and, again, it did not disappoint. Beautiful villa in delightful grounds. There is nothing quite like picking your own oranges for freshly squeezed orange juice! The pool area is fabulous. Clean well appointed and private villa with a fantastic restaurant about 10 minutes walk away. We would love to stay in this villa again and would not hesitate to recommend it.

We spent a wonderful 9 nights at Casa Josephina. A very clean, spacious and well appointed villa in lovely grounds. Although only 4 of us holidayed there, it would still be spacious for 8. Lots of sitting out areas in the gardens and pool area, but the loggia is star of the show. The loggia is very well equipped, with fridge, sink, glasses etc and even a kettle! Good location, 5 minute drive to Olhao. Excellent restaurant within 10 minutes walk. Owner was helpful throughout and I would definitely recommend this villa.

Casa Josephina is an absolute gem! The villa is clean, well equipped and spacious with nice, comfortable furniture, good beds, and the size of the pool (v welll-maintained) defies all criticism of the most difficult tenant. The garden has beautiful fruit trees. Apart from the living/dining room and the dining corner in the huge kitchen, there are 2 outdoor dining areas (one by the pool and one just down the kitchen with a barbecue and pizza oven (a v rare facility indeed) which offer a good treat in the evening. The villa is set in a quiet village but with Olhao (the nearest town) just a few kilometres away, you can find everything from supermarkets, pharmacies to numerous restaurants there. Adrian & Miranda Wallace (the owners of the villa), together with André (the manager of the property), contribute enormously to a successful holiday in Algarve by providing v useful information to visitors on things to do and to see locally and a retreat at a well-maintained home after a tiring day of visit. We highly recommend Casa Josephina to all categories of holiday-makers.

Also for those who dont want to miss their TV soaps or series there is British TV. Even though the lovely big pool was a tad chilly by the end of October the grandchildren enjoyed a dip everyday. I even braved it on one of the warmer days. The nearest town, Ohlao, with its fish market, is pretty much untouched by tourist. It has a few pleasant restaurants and not to be missed the ferry out to the beach islands. A little further a field we enjoyed Faro Old Town and Tavira.

Having just returned from Casa Josephina, I can honestly say it was by far one of the best holidays I've ever had. It was our first time staying in a villa so we were a bit unsure of what to expect but we had nothing to worry about as everything was perfect, the villa is better stocked than our own homes especially the kitchen! Communication with both Adrian and Miranda during the booking process to Andre in Portugal was second to none, nothing was too much trouble and all questions were answered extremely quickly. We requested an extra travel cot, high chair and stair gate and all requests were met with no issue at all which we were really grateful for. The pool is a fantastic size which easily accommodated 8 adults and 2 small children. The villa itself is stunning and in a lovely location. There are no bad points that I can think of at all, we had a fantastic time and would happily return. Thank you :)

From our first enquiry to the day we left this proved to be a well managed villa with everything that we would have wanted for a relaxing holiday with family and friends. Adrian and Miranda, together with Andre provided a great holiday home with fantastic service (Andre even helped us out with a parking ticket)! The villa is well located for a quiet and relaxing holiday but with many bustling towns and villages within easy reach (by car) - the best of both worlds. The large pool and the furnished loggia were stunning. The layout and size of the property gave everyone enough privacy and space to not be on top of one another. The villa had a well equipped kitchen (plus two extra fridges, essential for keeping the drinks cold) which meant we could fully cater for ourselves when we didn't go out and the tv/wifi/games and aircon allowed our teens to 'chill out' when they wanted a break from the sun in the hottest part of the day. Comfy beds, secure parking, beautiful gardens and a huge choice of seating inside and out. Not much more to add other than we would return and would definite recommend!

A very nice villa, well maintained and furnished, and with a fully equipped kitchen. The spacious bedrooms and lots of tables and seating areas inside the villa, and outside on the terraces in the nice garden, make Casa Josephina very comfortable, even for a group of eight adults, like ours.

Casa Josephina is a beautiful villa excellently equipped and in lovely grounds. I genuinely can't think of anything that would improve it. It was spotlessly clean, we had a really good welcome from Andre the Manager and Adrian and Miranda could not have been more helpful. Perfect!

What a lovely villa and pool... The villa was very accurately described in the text and in photos and the kitchen cupboards are full of cutlery and crockery, pots and pans. We had a problem with the underwater lights and they were fixed within 24 hours of reporting it to the site manager - excellent service! Thank you for a great week. (PS there are lots of dolphins to be seen in August from the many boat trips on offer...)

Wonderful home away from home. Spacious , super complete inventory. Wonderful and fully equipped kitchen. Great gardens, with several lovely seating areas and fantastic and large swimming pool. Quiet area, but close to several interesting sites and towns (car needed). We had a great time with our two youns sons (nearly two and four years old) and their grandparents. Very much recommended!

The villa was excellent, very well furnished and in good condition. Everything worked well, and we had all we needed. The location was peaceful. We enjoyed our stay very much.

our stay in your casa was a great succes. A lot of sun, good temperature and not to warm. The house was perfect ; unfortunately the parasols were broken ; we talked that tot Andre. By the way , the house was perfectly cleaned. We never stayed in such a claean house! Mostly we had diner under the corrugated roof. Maybe you should change the lights by more easy light. I sure recommand your house to our dutch friends. We look back to a wonderfull stay in the Algarve , specially ypur house, the garden and the swimming pool!

The house was exactly as described on the website. The kitchen was exceptionally well fitted out, much better than most holiday houses we have stayed in. We really loved eating outside in the barbecue area, sheltered from the weather (wind and sun). The pool was a real plus as it is large enough to swim in, not just laze about in. The bedrooms were spacious and the king size bed was very comfortable. We really liked the feeling of security and privacy which the gate and garden area gave us even though we also felt very much a part of the rural area as there were clearly other people around in nearby villas and the sounds of the countryside added to the the experience of being in a largely unspoilt tourist area where the food in the restaurants was mainly fresh fish landed at Olhau. We can also recommend the local restaurant which was an easy and short walk through the lanes. The Eastern Algarve is a great location with beautiful beaches in the Ria Formosa.
