The one-bedroom plus two-bunk condo we chose was clean, comfortable, and well-suited for a five-night stay with our two daughters, and our 17-pound Cavapoo. The location can't be beaten: it's a short five-minute walk to the River Run Lodge at the base of Sun Valley. Parking was plentiful. The owners were friendly and responsive. We'll stay here again.

The condo was perfect for our short stay in Ketchum. The building is nestled in near the River Run lift area and has great access to the bike trail and an informal trail that runs along the Big Wood.

Penny's is the closest to River Run. Easy 5 minute walk. Although a bit older unit it was comfortable and clean.

Location, location, location! Easy walk to River Run Lodge with on-site overnight ski storage, then just a few steps to the lifts and a cozy condo for afterwards. Everything you need to be self-sufficient in the kitchen and a super cozy king sized bed! Highly recommend!
Overall, the unit was comfortable, and we very much enjoyed our stay. Finally, the property manager was very accommodating, and responses were prompt and courteous.

This property is in a wonderful location - close to town, the slopes and has a walking trail adjacent. It was great to walk our dog on this trail. The space is small, comfortable and well used so it’s age shows. We enjoyed our stay.

We love staying at Pennay's when we come to ski at Sun Valley. The location is excellent, we can walk to the River Run bSe area and we can walk or catch a shuttle in to town. The condo is comfortable and the kitchen has everything we need. We love Pennay's and plan on returning for our annual ski trip.

Have stayed here many times and enjoy the relaxed atmosphere. Not a fancy place and a bit old school ski lodge but it is what we enjoy. Location is great and the staff is friendly. Will stay again.

We were warmly greeted the first day of our arrival by Cheri, the property manager, who filled us in on the shortcuts to the ski hill. Please make sure you speak to her before you go out - you are closer than you think! It was a great experience and although the units are slightly dated , we found everything we needed and enjoyed the stay tremendously. For the most part, this was exactly what we needed - very kind willingness to help us find our way - that means more than the facility to us.

Great condo in a perfect location
This condo is in a perfect location. You can be hiking, fishing. and in dining in town with a short walk. The management company was quick to respond to any questions we had. I highly recommend this condo.

This is a very average and outdated condo located a 5 minute walk to the ski resort. Nothing was terrible, but nothing was great. Everything in our unit was last updated in the late-90's early 2000's including the carpet which had much wear and tear. The fire place did not operate. The view is of the other condos and the area can get quite noisy with kids from the other units.
Fortunatley, you will not be spending much time in the condo as you will be outdoors biking, hiking, or exploring the sawtooths. My wife and I booked this condo as a last minute trip but for spending nearly $1K for three nights . I would say it was not worth it we should have camped. Word of caution if you are booking through there is a pet fee but it is fairly hidden and collapsed within their fine print at checkout. Not explicitly stated and adds at least $100.

Winter Wonderland
Pennays was beyond our expectations. The location was ideal and the accommodations were wonderful. We loved being within walking distance to the River Run Gondola and lodge. The walking trails were amazing, and perfect for our labs who love to romp in the snow. Thank you for such a memorable stay

Travelling with pets can be a challenge, not everyone welcomes them, but at Pennay's the opposite is true. It is wonderfully convenient for dog walking, and cat and dogs enjoyed looking out the deck doors to see who else was staying there. We crate our dogs at night, bring a blanket to cover our bed, and a towel for the chair where puss cat chooses to nap in an effort to try to be as respectful as possible to Alan's property and in appreciation of the fact that they let us bring the "kids" If you are a cook, heads up that supplies are very basic, so you might want to pack any must have items, or plan to hit the local stores to fill in what you are missing. The staff is as nice as can be, manager Cheri is wonderfully efficient, housekeepers Marisol, Lupe, and Rose Alba all helpful and willing to whatever we asked to keep things in good order the 10 days we were there. Great spot, we are already planning our next visit.
