The location of the property and the view from the living room are the best we’ve ever had - it made our holiday perfect!

Great location, beautiful view from front window. Walking distance to everything of interest in St Ives. Fantastic place to stay, just seems a shame that this property will change to only two guests as it has a perfectly good sofa bed in the front room. Really enjoyed our stay, thank you.

Arrived at the property, it hadn't been cleaned and there was no clean bed linen. After a long journey there was not even a welcome pack, which would have been very nice as we could not even get a cup of tea or coffee! Then the day before we came home the boiler decided not to work, we were told that as it was a bank holiday it was not very easy to get hold of a plumber and we should use kettles to have a bath, really, it did get repaired. We stayed in Flat 1 for 3 nights at the end of November 2021. The flat is of basic decor, but very clean and the view from the bay window is amazing. Excellent value for money. The position is very good, being 5 minutes from the front. There are very steep steps up to the property from the harbour but the owners make that very clear, don't underestimate that if you have mobility issues. On a winter break be extra wary of this as the steps are not brilliantly lit in the evenings. All in all I would definitely stay there again. One safety issue I would have liked to see addressed - I think a handrail on the 2 sets of narrow stone steps leading to the front door should be installed. When carrying a case and/or in high winds it didn't feel safe.

Great view, fabulous position, tricky parking, very friendly owners although there were problems with bathroom and kitchen that were not able to be resolved for us, delicious fish restaurants and inspiring art that was the reason for our visit, and all in all a perfect November break.

Fabulous and quiet location and a lucky find during such a busy year in August 2021. Great views over the harbour, lovely lounge space filled with that famous St Ives light! Overall a comfortable and enjoyable place to stay for a week. The bedroom was fine, but only a view of a wall very close to the window and the common drain at the rear was smelly if the window was open. The flat could do with a facelift and the kitchen was challenging to cook in. This said, the price was very reasonable for the location.

Would love to stay in this property again. Everything was perfect and owners left a folder with great info in it regarding local shops & places to visit.

Acceptable but had issues with hot water. Disappointing that restaurants and cafes closed intermittently (staff shortages / covid ???)

I have stayed for 3 nights in tha flat 1 and loved the view every moment. The flat was clean and the bed comfortable. The flat is positioned on a quiet street close to the city centre and beaches.

The view is the best ever flat great for our needs if I had one thing I would improve it would be the bed I found it uncomfortable. It was a small price to pay for a wonderful place really enjoyed myself.

Great views over harbour from front window and communal seating area outside. Situated above town centre so steep gradients to climb as a result. Property in need of updating.

The parking was not very good it was costly to park in the car park everyday

Apart from the panoramic view on the harbour and the bay from the large windows in the sitting room there is a nice terrace outside where you can eat or read a book. The town centre is not far away yet it is quite calm in these peaceful surroundings -> therefore great for families and people fit enough to cope with the steep ways. Cornwall and especially St Ives are always worth a visit :-)

Everything was straightforward and well managed dealing with the owners. A lovely spot for those who can manage the hill/steps very close to town centre, beaches etc

Brilliant place to stay for new year as fabulous view of harbour fireworks .lovely clean comfortable apartment.only issue was difficulty in parking anywhere as St Ives so busy even though we’d purchased a weekly ticket.

It’s a lovely little flat, clear instructions in the blue files and everything in great working condition. We really enjoyed our stay here.

And the Views Across The Harbour, Town, and Sea, were just Superb.We were also pleasantly pleased with the location , by just going down a few steps, we were in the town centre, and by the beach. We have stayed in Cornwall for Holidays, since 1972, and this is one of the best places we have stayed in.We also liked sitting on the patio outside taking in the view, First Class, Once again Thank You, for a Lovely Holiday.

Had a fantastic stay in St Ives. Accommodation was generous in size but could have done with more comfortable seating in the living room. Kitchen and bathroom were both good. Great shower. View from window made our stay!

Barnoon is an ideal niche overlooking Harbour Beach, with captivating views along the coastline. The flat has all that you need for a peaceful holiday "far from the madding crowd" - and yet it is only minutes away from all the amenities of St Ives. Just be aware that there are steep hills in all directions, but that applies throughout St Ives. The outstanding views are well worth the effort as long as you are reasonably fit. I thoroughly recommend this apartment to visitors.
