Lovely apartment

We had a wonderful stay and great communication!

Great space and quite modern. Very well equipped with all kitchen appliances, but also toys for kids, etcetera.

the apartment was spacious and accommodated 3 generations of my family very well with no conflict. we had a lovely stay and everything worked well and we were in a perfect spot for the beach and shops/restuarants

Apartment was perfectly located, central to everything. No need for car..we walked every where. Beds were super comfortable which is key criteria for us. Glenys was very helpful with everything and kindly offered to collect our daughter from Girona when she arrived on a later flight ensuring we could enjoy time on holiday. All good and would visit again. Callela lovely old town, clean beaches and the restaurants were top quality as long as you love seafood..which we do!

The apartment is extremely well situated, nicely decorated and spacious. The rooms are comfortable. The kitchen is well equipped. We enjoyed sitting on the terrace for meals; it easily accommodated the whole party of seven adults. The area is beautiful with good walks, restaurants, sights etc. Plenty to do for a week's stay. Parking was much easier than anticipated. One or two of us were somewhat affected by the bells, but this was not a great problem at all and very easily fixed by earplugs. A couple of minor thoughts: the Wi-fi could be a little unpredictable and it would have been nice to have a few more basics such as a few bin liners and some washing up liquid, for example, which would have negated the need to buy these items. Nevertheless, a successful stay. Thank you.

This is a beautiful and spacious apartment, bright and clean and the location is excellent. Gorgeous rooms, comfy beds with 3 different balconys so you could always find a bit of shade. We visited beaches up and down the costa brava and despite it being the busiest time of the year, found the local beach to be our favourite. Wonderful restaurants and friendly people, we fell in love with this part of Spain. We are a family of 5 and we loved the ease of beach access combined with being. On a quiet street. The church bells are loud, you do get used to them though and parking was predictably terrible for peak season. Neither of these things would stop us coming back though!

This large apartment in the picturesque coastal town of Calella de Palafrugell provided the perfect introduction to our first visit to the Costa Brava: super-convenient; clean and comfortable; and spacious and stylish. The owner, Glenys, is friendly, helpful and always on hand if needed. We can't wait to return! Highly recommended!

We have just returned home after a week's stay. The apartment is lovely, light and spacious. We had 7 adults in our group and we all had a lovely room and plenty of space. Great location, just a stones throw from the beach. Fantastic cliff walks, and lovely bars and restaurants. Glenys couldn't have been more helpful, meeting us on our first day and giving us lots of information on what was going on in the local area during our stay. Very close to the local church and the bells. Glenys does supply earplugs though!! It hasn't put us off as we would love to return if we get the chance!

We have just returned from this beautiful apartment, it is so well equipped, spacious and comfortable. I felt at home straight away, which normally takes me days to settle in. It got a lovely Spanish feel and is really well located, in a peaceful street just a hop skip and jump to the lovely beach & village Calella De Parafugel of which have a great choice of restaurants. It was great to be able to use beach chairs and umbrellas for the beach. The balcony was so peaceful and to return after a day and just relax with the end of day sun still lovely and warm. The surrounding areas have wonderful beaches, and the old town Parafugel is a lovely town to take a stroll excellent morning market, good selection of shops and great square to enjoy a coffee. Glenys was very helpful, we encountered a problem with car hire at airport on arrival and came to the rescue to take us back the following day. I would definitely recommend this apartment, and we would love to be able to return.

I have recently spent a wonderfully relaxing holiday in this apartment with three other friends. Not only was it central, it was well equipped, clean, fresh with plenty of room and space to relax. The owner couldn't have been more helpful and welcoming and I can't recommend it highly enough.

We were 4 women holidaying together and in need of a relaxing place to chill out - This apartment and the area of Calella certainly ticked all the boxes for us. The apartment was clean and well furnished and decorated - the kitchen was very well kitted out - the bathrooms were good and the showers were extremely good with good pressure and lovely hot water at all times, despite 4 of us showering frequently. We walked along the coast path to the lovely gardens of Cap Roig and in the other direction to the bay at Llafranc and we also took the local bus into Girona to see the flower festival (which was recommended to us by the owner) and was definitely worth the trip. We thought about hiring a car but in the end decided against it and found that we managed very well without it, despite the bus service not being fully operational until June. The Owner - Glenys - was very helpful and provided very good customer service both before the holiday and during it. The weather was wonderful and the location and accommodation all provided the chill out holiday that was just a dream when we booked it in the cold days of January. I would just add one thing - Calella does have a rather enthusiastic town clock - which you do actually get used to - and which I think would be heard wherever you were located in Calella. However I for one would definitely return to Calella and to this apartment again.

I stayed in Calella for a week in June with my two children. I loved the apartment, it was spacious, comfortable and clean. Best of all was the location, right in the village. It was lovely to be able to walk within 2 minutes to beaches, restaurants and shops. It has a large balcony off the kitchen where we ate every day, and plenty of room to relax inside. Calella de Palafrugell itself is very pretty and safe, with pleasant walks along the coastal path to nearby Llfranc. The owner, Glenys, was extremely helpful, and went out of her way to help me with a small problem I had with my rental car. She was absolutely lovely and couldn't do enough to accommodate us. I would highly recommend this apartment in a great spot on the Costa Brava.

If you like traditional Spain then you will love Calella de Palafrugell. The apartment is just a 2 minute walk from the main beach, bars, restaurants and mini supermarket. It is spacious and very well equipped. The two balconies at the rear of the apartment are excellent for alfresco dining or just relaxing, with sun from morning to the end of the day (but also have plenty of shade.) The owner, Glenys Lewis, made us feel very welcomed. We are looking forward to returning in the future.

Spacious and clean property situated just off the beach front. The location is perfect for family groups and it is very peaceful giving you a break from the beach when you need it. 4 big bedrooms, towels and linen included and everything required for a good stay. The owner was on hand if needed and even help us out with a kind favour, which was most appreciated. Hope to stay again. Thanks Glenys!

The property is in a small street on the first floor, walking distance to the lovely beach is about 150 metres. The apartment is in a good condition, with everything you need, a nice balcony towards the back yard. Everything is in a modern style. We enjoyed our stay as a family with two children, 8 and 11 years. The owner is very friendly, she gives you all the information, you need. The restaurants and bars in the area are extremly good. The beaches in the area are familiar. Just around the corner is a small supermarket with everything you need, also fresh bread in the morning. We would definitly come back to this place.

What a great apartment --- we had a wonderful time! We were two families vacationing together (total: 4 adults, 4 kids under age 5). This location was perfect, for grownups and kids alike. It is 100 m from the beach, with several restaurants and well-stocked small grocers nearby, and a lovely hiking path along the coast. The beach was absolutely beautiful, and not crowded. There are several spots that are easy to get to by car (Palafrugell, Girona, ..), but we spent most of our time enjoying the beautiful beach. The owners were great. (We accidentally left a few things in the apartment; they mailed them to us without charge.)

The apartment was fantastic, well maintained, well equipped and spacious. Superb location within 3 minutes walk of the beach, bars, restaurants, supermarkets and bank. Callela de Palafrufell is a beauiful village. Some lovely walks in wonderful scenery.
