From the moment we arrived, owner Alessandra was there for the warmest welcome. Her home is bright and beautiful, perhaps directly proportionate to Alessandra. What a wonderful experience we had there and hope to stay again when we return to Assisi someday. It is walking distance to the center of this historic gorgeous place! And the view from the terrace is breathtaking!

A beautiful home, tastefully furnished, with everything you might need for a short stay. Alessandra was a gracious host who welcomed us warmly and even offered to pick us up at the train station. Staying at her apartment was a great part of our wonderful Assisi experience!

This condo exceeded our expectations. Everything was excellent - the gourmet kitchen, the quality furniture, the comfy beds, the real art work, the views over Umbria, and the super size deck for al fresco dining and morning coffee. The kitchen had everything that we needed including extra spices and sauces for pasta! Each day after seeing Umbria we collapsed back to the glorious deck and views over Umbria The location is fantastic. Its just a short walk to the everywhere in Assisi. Alessandro guided us up with an easy driving tour of Umbria, and the best wineries to visit. It was absolutely simple to come and go, with private parking and a wide street to enter and exit the city walls. We visited Montefalco, Spello, Bevagna and Perugia. Do not miss the Roman mosaics in Spello, and the archeological sites under Perugia. For Perugia - the sites are part way up the elevator from the parking lot, to walk through a medieval city (and its free). Then under the cathedral we took the English archeological tour - not to be missed. We have stayed in many other VRBO, and this one easily ranks highest. Alessandro is the best host you could have. We would love to stay again.

I have booked apartments in Italy through VRBO on many occasions with good results. Alessandra's apartment and the overall service she provided is far and away the best experience I have had! The apartment is inside the old wall of Assisi which allows easy access to all of the tourist and/or pilgrimage destinations for which Assisi is famous. The listing for the apartment is very accurate with one exception. The outside veranda is even more amazing than the listing pictures show. It is furnished with multiple pieces of new patio furniture, a large table and chairs for dining and relaxing outside, and an oversized umbrella to protect against the mid day sun. The views of the valley from the veranda are breathtaking! Inside the apartment was comfortably furnished, the kitchen is furnished with new and modern kitchen appliances, and the bathroom is spacious and well equipped. High quality linens, towels, etc. are provided throughout. And the air conditioning really works!!! But possibly the best aspect of our stay was the warm and welcoming service provided by Alessandra and her husband. The apartment was stocked with all the little things needed when arriving. Any questions or issues we had were answered immediately as Alessandra let us know that she was available at any time. I would highly recommend Alessandra's apartment to everyone. If I return to Assisi for another stay, I will not even look anywhere else!
