I had dinner one night and it was good. The piano player was very nice. The staff listened to me and provided me with services I requested. I was glad that my luggage was brought to my room and picked up when checking out
I was on the 4th floor the very last room 423. The climb up did become a problem since I am 73. I had requested a view of the water, but got a side view of tops of trees only.

Island House Hotel was exceptionally clean and very comfortable. Every interaction with staff was positive, and everyone was friendly and helpful. Our room was clean, comfortable, and cheery. We loved the veranda porch in front that looks out over the lake. Plenty of chairs were available to use while we relaxed and took in the views. The pool and hot tub area were clean and well kept. Upstairs rooms can be accessed using stairs or the elevator. Hallways have stairs where the original building transitions to an addition. If stairs are a problem for you, make sure you request a room easily accessed. We would highly recommend staying at Island House Hotel if you are visiting Mackinac Island.

Loved the location on the Island. The pool and hot tub were really nice at the end of a long day. Friendly staff, our room was small but perfect for my husband and I, bon fire spots out front were amazing with great views. We will definitely be back!

Perfect location. Beautiful and relaxing. We had the 4th floor room with the slanted ceiling so I would not want to stay in that room again. Hope to visit again

We liked the view from our room. The room was clean, cute, and comfortable. Walking into the room and seeing a small box of fudge and an inviting letter for staying with the hotel was super neat! The bike rental in front of the hotel was super convenient. The Ice House BBQ behind the restaurant was our favorite place to eat. Outdoor seating and amazing food! Definitely recommend eating there and staying here.
Seemed like the shower water pressure you'd get at a campsite. Thankfully, we were there for one night, so we didn't need a shower. I think that for the price of the tiny room we got there could have been better accommodations or a lowered price. But we would definitely return and stay here again.

Location is grate. The hotel has very rich history and happy to be its guest. The luggage to ferry service is very useful and it is grate.

Nicely updated for a historic property. The room was small with a sloped ceiling but knew that when we booked it. It was charming. A/C worked great.
Glad we pre-purchased breakfast because we saved money on a subpar meal. Don't order the eggs Benedict.

The location of our hotel was close to shops, restaurants, etc. We were within walking distance to all attractions. Clean room, friendly staff.

It was wonderfully located. Easy walking distance to most everything. The staff was excellent. We especially enjoyed the outdoor seating by the campfires. Just a awesome experience all around.
Room was on the small side but fulfilled the need.

Enjoyed the location.
Staff was extremely unhelpful with loud children running/jumping/galloping above us at all hours. We asked them multiple times for assistance, and their response was, “Well we had a talk with them.” The issues persisted, and made
it challenging for us to even sleep or feel comfortable in our room. For the price I will not be staying here again with such poor management.
