Room was clean & spacious. Great view from our balcony.

Steps up to the property were not lit at night. air con was really noisy so had to turn off at night to be able to sleep. right above the train station, which didn’t bother us at all but can imagine others would have difficulty with the noise.

This accomodation really exceeded our expectations. Since the house is directly above the portal of the train tunnel, we expected that we wouldn't sleep well. I booked the room which is not facing the train directly but only sidewards. And at least in this room, it was surprisingly rather quiet! The house has probably good noise isolation and in addition the accomodation provides ear plugs, which I however did not even have to use. The room itself is nice and the little terrace probably is nice to use in the summer. Also, the bed has one single mattress but unlike in other accomodations, here it is good quality and you do NOT feel every movement of your companion. We had a really good sleep even though we have a rather sensitive sleep. Self check-in is easy and the host is really proactively helpful via the chat function. Thank you Barbara!

Nothing really. Only thing might be that you can clearly hear the shower from the neighbouring room. But that is critizism on a high level.

If you are here for the beach, this is an amazing location. Right by the beach (have to climb a few stairs), old town, restaurants, and train station. They even provide towels for the beach!

Really nice room. It’s true that you have to take some stairs to get to the room but it is more than okay. Nice details in the room such as coffee machine and some pastries for breakfast.

Having outside patio space was a very welcome bonus and made a real difference to our stay. We were pleased to receive new towels and extra tea and coffee on day 4 r of our stay. The location was very peaceful.

We didn't like walking up 125 steps to reach out room especially in the night when the steps were not lit.

The check in is too late ( around 16). You also have to go up 130 steps to the apartment. There is also the train going under the house, so be ready for a very loud sounds even at night.

The location is perfect- very short walk to the beach, restaurants, shops, etc. but just far enough to not hear everything in the evening. The room was clean and tidy, all is modern. Beach towels, shower gel, fridge and tea and coffee making facilities in the room. We had a balcony too. A/C present. They also put a few biscuits, croissants, tea bags, coffee pods and drinks in the room- included in the prize. Monterosso train station is a short 5-10 min walk.

All was absolutely fine- just be aware of the stairs leading up to the property. I don't think I could have managed to carry a heavy big suitcase up easily- especially when it is very hot. Also with a very young child you may have difficulties from a safety point of view as well as carrying a buggy or push chair up and down. My daughter is 6 and she was ok but my 3 year old would have not been safe enough. Your keys have a torch attached- our batteries were empty though- be prepared and have a torch or torch on your phone ready when it is dark and it is pitch black!

Amazing view, comfortable room very close to the train station. We woke up with the bird's song.

It is up the hill, so if you carry heavy luggage with you can be a bit tricky.

Very clean place, lovely view and very central, 5 minute walk to the beach. Great AC and has everything you need.

The stairs are pretty steep and long. If you're planning to go back and forth a few times a day you will get tired for sure.

Liked that it was up above the city and see the ocean and into town. Liked the balcony and see lemon trees. We liked hearing a neighbor rooster in mornings. We liked the tea selections and electric kettle. Liked porch area and orange tree.liked the soap. good cookies.

No microwave. Originally I thought would be too loud having train tracks and tunnel right below but with doors closed it was muted very well ( only would be nice to hear the birds and keep windows open.

The room is nice, comfortable and has the necessities. Not far from the train station. The terrace is nice and we were given simple and efficient directions on how to get to the place and what to do in the area.

You can hear the train as it passes by, quite frequently. The are a lot of mosquitoes and no nets at the door/window so if you stay inside you can’t really open them for fresh air.
