Amaroo was the perfect getaway house for the extended family to spend some quality time together with spacious and comfortable areas for meals and socialising, but with plenty of room for relaxing as well.
The house provided anything and everything you’d need in the kitchen, bedrooms and no need to bring kids toys or pool activities - it’s all there allowing that home away from home feeling really shine through.
Plenty of things to see and do, all very close by.
Amaroo provided a relaxing family getaway with easy and friendly communication with the owners.
For those holidaying with babies, Amaroo is very accommodating with a perfect change area set up in the laundry for us, high chair, portacots and baby gate for the stairs, everything was covered.
We highly recommend this property for family groups, we couldn’t fault a thing!

We had a lovely weekend enjoying the our time at Amaroo relaxing by the pool and playing billiards with the family. Our bedrooms were very comfortable and the bathrooms so modern and spacious. The views of the ocean of course are also amazing! I would recommend to anyone to stay at Amaroo this luxury home offers so much.

Amaroo was the perfect holiday home for our family. The kids loved the pool and the outdoor style living area was lovely for the adults!!! It is very spacious and clean, with a big kitchen for cooking. The view from the house was incredible and the house is a short walk to East’s beach! The local cafe up the road was fantastic, as was the little Pilates studio. Thank you Laurey and Warwick for a wonderful stay. I can’t recommend staying here more!

Our stay at Amaroo was easy going and relaxing - Amaroo is well appointed with plenty of space in the house and outside so there is no reason to leave. (Except for a visit to the excellent local coffee shop and little blow hole just up the street).
The ever changing coast view is just mesmerising.
We were 2 families each with 2 young kids and and couldn't have found a better place on the south coast.

The house is beautiful and well appointed. The heated pool was a great enjoyment to both young and old. The outlook over the ocean is picturesque- beautiful sunrises with the young children who were early risers as well as moonlight on the ocean sipping champagne with the adults.
There is lots of space for the different age groups to play games, read a book or just relax.

Amazing house with stunning uninterrupted ocean views. We loved that it backed onto the reserve where u can easily do a morning walk up and down the coastline enjoying the sunrise.
Great hosts, very contactable and helpful. Pool was large and clean. Alfresco area was awesome with the pool table and bbq. Kitchen was well equipped and stocked. Very comfy beds. Cute little coffee shop up the road. 5 mins walk to beach. We’d move here if we could.

We were very impressed by everything at our property. From our greeting by Warwick to the ease of communication with Laurey. There were a lot of personal touches and the home had everything that we needed and more. Unfortunately our stay was only a weekend, we would love to have stayed longer. The view was spectacular as was the home itself.

Family getaway
Laurey welcomed us on our arrival and led us through the property which was perfect. From the large kitchen area for those of us that like to entertain to the entertaining area for those who like to be entertained, this home had everything. The only drawback was that he’d have to leave. Loved everything about the property.
We will definitely be back again and Laurey was a delightful host.

Amazing house with amazing views
Perfect property for a group of 6 enjoying a weekend away. Communication was excellent from start to finish, easy check in process with the owner welcoming us with a tour of the house which added a nice personal touch. The house is spacious and has been beautifully renovatrd with everything you need, the pictures do not do it justice. And the views, there are no words...if you are thinking about booking you should just do it and see for yourself! Worth every cent!

Laurey & Warwick were very accommodating. The house had everything you could ask for. A lovely touch with fresh flowers and a welcoming snack pack which saved us from going to the shops - Thank you!! :)
We didn't get to use the pool because it rained the whole time we were there but we were able to still enjoy our stay for 2 nights. A short walk to the little blowhole and an 8 min drive into town to grab brunch was very convenient.

Beautiful house. Stunning view
Our family stayed at Amaroo in January and it was an amazing home. Extremely clean and neat (I especially loved the labels in the kitchen cupboards - very organised) and great views from every window. All the bedrooms were lovely and comfortable.
The kids had a great time in the pool which was reasonably warm and very clean.
The only downside was the amount of dog walking traffic right out the back with most people (and many dogs) having a good look into the back of the house and the pool. So privacy was a small issue.
But the house itself and the hosts couldn’t have been better.

Everything you need
We were two families staying and this house was perfect. The two master suites make it comfortable for all the adults and there are plenty of sleeping options for the kids. Nearly each room has breathtaking views. There are numerous places to relax, we loved all the space. You don’t have to leave either - we just swam in the pool, went to the beach or grabbed a coffee from the local cafe, via the blowhole! I cannot recommend this place enough.

The weather wasn’t with us for our weekend, but we read, relaxed, enjoyed the view. Walked to Little Earth Roasters coffee shop (great food, coffee and service), watched the blowhole, played pool and walked the dogs in the wind. Spotless house with everything you could ask for.

Very thoughtful of Laurey to include a baby bath, change mat, wash cloth and rubber ducky, as well as a basket of treats for the rest of us!

Relaxing Bliss
We had the most wonderful break in this beautiful property. We felt after the year 2020 has been, that we needed a good holiday and this property didn't disappoint. Laurey is a wonderful host and couldn't have been more helpful. The basket of treats she left us was delicious, and the standard and quality of the house and location was one of the best we have experienced. The house is a walk from a great coffee shop and wine bar - what else do you need?! Thanks Laurey, we will be back.

My family and I stayed at Amaroo for my dads 60th birthday. We all agreed that it was the most beautiful property we had ever stayed in and we all felt very at home during our stay. The thing that impressed us most was not only the beautiful home and amazing view, but the cleanliness of the whole house! The owners were lovely and even provided my dad with a 60th birthday gift basket! We will definitely be back and could not recommend Amaroo any more highly!
