We could not have booked a more perfect place for our family vacation. The house, the pool, the garden, all were beautiful. There were so many amenities we were constantly amazed at the level of detail and thought that went into this home. It is fully equipped with everything a family would need for a beach holiday. Our communication with Andy was fantastic, he was very responsive especially when our flights were delayed and we had to alter our stay. Beautiful, casual elegant home that all ages can enjoy! We loved Poipu , Kauai, with this great location and fabulous ocean view! We all loved the pool and beautiful yard which felt like home after day of activities. Every need from binoculars to infant and toddler gear and beach wagon, chairs, sand toys were available. Our trip had 3 generations. Our parents are in their late 70’s and 80’s plus we had young children. My brother-in-law said it was the trip of his lifetime. We could not have asked for more attentive hosts. They went out of their way to make our trip exceptional. Every single person on our trip could not stop raving about this VRBO home. Our children played non-stop in the pool and hot tub. The home is so inviting and friendly with beautiful ocean views from its neighborhood location. The beds are extremely comfortable. The kitchen was spectacular along with each bedroom. We cannot sing our praises loud enough. We hope to return someday for more Kauai paradise. Most of us would load up our jeeps with the beach gear provided by our hosts and drive down to the beach, but the beach is in definite walking distance. Often those walking would beat those of us driving. We spent 9 days over Christmas 2023, and we could not have asked for a more magical experience. We saw so many sea turtles both snorkeling and sleeping right on Poipu beach too. This location and accommodation was perfect for the young and the old. We just returned, and all of us miss it already. There is a ping pong table and a lovely yard for kids to run around in. I will miss looking out at the ocean from the deck drinking my Kauai coffee. Kauai coffee along with choice of a regular drip pot, press pot or pour over are provided. Every detail you could need has been thought out. Loved the beach club too! Mahalo

There are 3 important checklists for a vacation rental. 1) location 2) living space 3) amenities This beautiful property has the best location. A block from the beach with privacy! Separate suites for individual space Amenities are countless. Hot tub, pool, all beach gear, specialized soap and hair products. Fully stocked kitchen, spices, top quality appliances. I don't think I have enough space to tell you about our stay. From the the very first step of reserving the home to check out, our host Andy and Sarah, were very attentive to our needs. House is beautiful, the pictures are exactly as the home is in real life! Wonderfully stocked with everything you can imagine. Location is super easy to all the fun activities. Needless to say it was hard to leave. There were 10 of us and plenty of space for everyone. Thanks so much for sharing this little slice of paradise.

The house was in the perfect location within walking distance to beaches and restaurants. Beautiful home with more amenities than I’ve ever seen in any other vacation rental. The homeowners are salt of the earth and super communicative. 5/5 easy!

This place checks all the boxes. Andy is an amazing host and the house is perfect for 8 people (2 kids and 6 adults) and it has almost anything you can think of. We had a wonderful time and decided to stay close to the house the last night and the girls got to see some monk seals on the beach— our group has nothing but great memories and some great tans. We will be back!!!

This place has it all. 4 separate bedrooms each with its own full bathroom. Beds are excellent, sheets are excellent, pool is excellent, kitchen and appliances are excellent …lots of room for everyone, multiple patios and decks. The host is super-responsive and hospitable - lots of nice finishing touches. The home is in excellent repair and very clean. No regrets at all, and highly recommend.

The welcome snacks and flowers on the dining table really set the tone for a great stay. We couldn’t have been happier with our stay! 6 adults and four young grandchildren. Very comfortable with all the amenities you could ask for, truly amazing. The pool provided hours of great family time together. Location was very convenient. Walking paths provided great viewing opportunities for beautiful sunrises and sunsets. Everything was great about this property. Clean, spacious, well stocked, and perfect location in Poipu. The owner was friendly and very easy to communicate with. We used the pool and/or the athletic club on a daily basis. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would recommend this property to anyone.

This was our second stay here in this home with our family.The first was 12 years ago. It is such a beautifully designed and quality built home that is lovingly maintained. It is walking distance to a beginners beach to get comfortable before driving to other beaches. The pool and hot tub are wonderful! It is in such a lovely private garden setting- so relaxing. Nighttime is magical with the stars and moon overhead or from the upstairs deck with the ocean sparkling. Hope to return again and so appreciate you sharing your home and being available if needed.

We had a wonderful time. The house was perfect for a three generational family. As a group, we have rented many houses over the last fifteen years and your house was the best! It had everything we needed and more. We are staying on the Big Island now and the house is fine, but there is no comparison. According to our grandchildren, great pool as well as awesome boogie boarding and snorkeling within walking distance. Sea turtles and monk seals, too, Thanks so much for a wonderful stay.

We love staying at Hoohu Nani. The house is amazing, with everything you need to be comfortable. The pool is great to enjoy and it is in close proximity to lots of great beaches, restaurants and shopping. These owners have everything you need for all your outdoor adventures. We have loved all our stays at this house and will be back for our next vacation.

We had 8 of us, ages 2-65. This home was perfect. Plenty of room for everyone to have space with great areas to gather. The house could not have been better stocked with beach gear, baby gear, spices and cookware, paper goods etc. A great place to prepare a family meal. Close enough to take a short walk to the beach or take a golf cart to neighboring beaches. The pool was an added bonus after a long day at the beach. Andy was a joy to work with. Couldn’t have asked for a better experience. Many thanks!

This is a HOME! So comfortable to come home to this VRBO after spending the day out exploring. We rented this home for 10 days to host our two sons (one married with three children). So eight people total. The home is set up with high end everything! Decorated like the owners lived there full time and asked you watch it while they are away. Need anything? Have a question about something? Call or txt Andy, he is very responsive. Two sets of clothes washers and dryers, one set upstairs, one set downstairs. Don't over pack like I did! Binoculars, beach toys, coolers, umbrellas and flashlights on the nightstands just to name a few thoughtful touches! And what a kitchen...spices and miscellaneous everything. Our day usually started the beautiful lanai/deck...with my wife doing her daily prayers and us putting the final touches to our daily travel plans So peaceful and a view of the ocean! Our day usually ended there as well, with a drink and a sunset. The Kids spent their time in the pool, laughing and splashing or at the ping pong table challenging each other. (They enjoyed the deck too!) This home has a welcoming vibe of comfort and relaxation. The location is perfect for exploring the island. We experienced the Nepali coast three ways, by boat cruise, helicopter and car/hike. All well worth it and just a short drive from the home. For those who golfed, the favorite course was just a short drive also. Incredible awesome pizza? (Koloa) You guessed it, just a short drive away! Turtles and Monk seals? Sorry, you guessed wrong, you can walk to that beach! Read the reviews and do the math, you really can't go wrong renting this HOME! Thank you Andy and Christine! We appreciated your warmth!

This was quite possibly the best house we have ever stayed in. Everything was magnificent from the host, ensuring we had absolutely everything we could have asked for and more, to the location, cleanliness - five star all the way! A dream vacation for certain - Thank you Andy !!

Clean and spacious luxurious home so well-stocked with everything one could possibly need. Little notes with helpful instructions thoughtfully placed throughout the home reveals Andi’s care and concern for guests and their experience. Great location with a short stroll to the beach or short drive into Poipu for shops and restaurants. Rosemary is for remembrance! Highly recommend!

This is property is truly slice of paradise. It's a great location, it has oceans views with just a short walk to the beach, numerous restaurants in the area, and less than a10 minute drive to the supermarket. The house has a wonderful layout for a large family with plenty of space to be together and plenty of space to find a quiet moment. Great beds, great showers, excellent linens, overall a very comfortable house. Our kids really enjoyed the large pool, the ping-pong table, and the use of the media room for video games. For those that like to cook, the kitchen is fully equipped with high end appliances, good quality knives, numerous cutting boards, and wide selection of pots and pan. Not only is the property exceptional, the owner, Andy, couldn't be nicer to deal with. I really could go on and on about how much we enjoyed our stay but suffice it to say that, if we get the chance, we will certainly return to this property. Highly recommend! PS: Before we arrived, the owner told us to feel free to use the herbs, spices, and oils that were in the kitchen. There was olive oil, avocado oil, balsamic vinegar, rice vinegar, soy sauce, and more. The place is really set up nicely. We loved it! A big thank you to Andy!

A week was not enough! Our family of 10 ( ages 5-83) had an unforgettable vacation. The accommodations exceeded all of our expectations. The location was perfect for all of our activities and the pool, ping pong table and basketball goal kept the kids and adults entertained the rest of the time. Andy is a great host and was available for all questions and concerns. Would love to come back again.

I can’t even begin to describe how awesome this property is. To start with, it’s a beautiful home, pool and spa. There were eight adults and it was perfectly sized for us. The kitchen was outstanding. We grilled nearly every night and supplemented with fixings cooked in the kitchen. There was not one thing that we wished we had. Andy is one of the most outstanding hosts ever. Very responsive and fulfilled our every need. We hated to go home and for sure will be back again!

This house was amazing! We loved the bedrooms all with their own private bath. It made for an awesome space for four couples. Then we gathered in the common space and had a great time. The house had plenty of fridge space for lots of drinks and even had a water cooler! The hot tub was awesome and the pool was spacious enough for all of us and even more! It was a bit of a hike down to the beach as the house was up on a hill. Overall it was an amazing space and we highly recommend it!

Beautiful property, incredibly equipped with everything you need. Great layout for our four couples - all bedrooms ensuite. Kitchen was the best stocked one I have every rented. Nice location, walking to beaches and restaurants. Owner was very helpful and quick to reply. One of the best vacation rentals we have every used!

The house is big, very spacious inside, with top end appliances. This did not seem like a commercial rental, but rather an understatedly elegant home. We had one issue that the host addressed immediately, with grace, and to our satisfaction. Plenty of games in the yard (ping pong, boche ball, etc) beach chairs & toys. This was probably the best VRBO we have stayed at.

We absolutely loved our stay at this beautiful house in Poipu. My wife, kids, and extended family were all very comfortable in our own rooms, each with a luxurious bathroom. The pool and hot tub were fantastic, for the kids as well as the grown-ups. However, it was really the upstairs great room and lanai that we all spent the majority of our time in and enjoyed the most. My favorite part was enjoying morning coffee on the lanai, reading a book with the beautiful ocean views and sounds of birds all around. The sunsets were also spectacular. The house is very well appointed with lots of amenities and kitchen items to make your stay very comfortable. It was great to be able to grab a boogie board and make a short walk down to Brennecke beach to catch some waves or see the sea turtles at sunset. Andy is a great host and very communicative. We can't wait to come back!

We had a very nice week in Kauai for my grandson’s wedding. This house works perfectly for a large family rental. Here are our major pluses and minuses: One the plus side, very nice house with good sized rooms and everything in good condition; super host who was totally accessible and helpful; good position near Brenneckes beach for boogie boarding and a beautiful protected baby beach; pool and hot-tub; lots of beach chairs,boogie boards etc in the house; house was very well stocked with lots of extras…spices,sweeteners,coffee and filters,cleaning things…more so than most vrbo homes; a big plus was access to POIPU Bay Athletic Club which we used three times during the week. Minuses: the only real minus for us was a bit of disappointment in Poipu itself. It’s a very personal judgement and may be influenced by three days of bad weather, but we were not overwhelmed. Surfers, divers, avid hikers will all feel differently, no doubt.

Wonderful property and location. Would come back in a heartbeat. And Andy went out of his way to be extremely helpful.
