Extremely modern, spacious and comfortable. Brand new and renovated rooms with hi-end toiletries and towels. Very comfortable.

I was a little frustrated by the hosts of this accommodation. Their check-in time is from 1:30pm to midnight. I thought I would arrive in the evening, around 7pm and that's what I told the host. My schedule changed and I was able to arrive around 4:30pm. I texted with this information and called about an hour before arrival. Thinking this would be no problem, we arrived around 4:30/5pm. The host said we couldn't get in the room because they allowed a late checkout of a previous guest and the room wasn't ready. I was extremely frustrated, as their check-in time is 13:30 (1:30pm). We left out bags and walked around for about 45 minutes before coming back to check in. The next day was Sunday and we were switching accommodations. Our next accommodation wasn't ready until 4pm, and our car was locked in a garage until 6pm. We asked for a late check-out of about noon - the on-site host (mother) said it probably would not be a problem. The owner (son) denied us and said we needed to be out by 10:30 at latest. And then we asked if we could leave our bags during the day), and they charged us 5Euro/bag for my trolley bag. Frustrating experience all around.

The room was exactly as advertised. The location was amazing. 2 mins walk from train station. Alfonso and his mom were great hosts, and we will be back.

We were extremely disgusted by the attitude of this property and the way that the situation has been handled by the property. When we arrived at the property before even checking in, whilst the owner Alfonso showed us the room, we noticed a recent wet stain on the bed (strange). In agreement, he agreed that this was poor cleaning and agreed to replace the bedding. He asked us to return in 10 minutes and leave our bags in the room. When my wife returned to the property, as I was getting some items from the shop, the bedding had not yet been replaced and only a sheet was on the bed, at this point my wife sat at the head of the bed to wait (whilst the owner was in the apartment getting new bedding off the other rooms bed), when she noticed that the bottom of the bed was broken and at a complete slant. She advised the owner and he quickly placed new bedding on in an attempt to leave before I returned. I quickly returned to the room and discussed this with Alfonso, to which he replied that the previous tenant said the bed was fine when he left and he suggested that my small physique wife somehow broke the bed by sitting on it. We felt like we were being fleeced and extorted after he realized that the bed was broken and he would lose the 3-day booking. We could not sleep on the bed, so we had to leave the property. We have subsequently been refused a full refund. In no way was this in our favor as we had to find a hotel at 8 pm at night in an already busy city which cost us double. After booking 5 properties in Europe during this trip and loving every property with 10-star reviews, this was a very sad end that could have had a different outcome if we had been given a refund, as we understand that things happen beyond owners' control. However, when you own a B&B you have to also accept that sometimes you have to make a loss on a booking when your property is not up to standard. Be very careful when booking this property.

Very centric location. The host was attentive and provided dinner options and also called us a taxi.

There was no breakfast, although we left early and did not ask about the option.

Chérie B&B was an amazing stay! The host is very nice and went out of his way to help us check in and store our luggage after we checked out. The room has great features including a balacony. The room was clean and the location was great for visiting Salerno! Would highly recommend especially for those visiting Salerno for the first time.

The photos were deceiving. the photos made the place look much nicer then it actually was. the air conditioner did not work and it was confusing how many doors there were to get to the room. It didn’t feel very safe. subpar. if you need a place to sleep it’s okay, but I wouldn’t stay more than 1 night.
