The house was great. The pool was wonderful to come back to each afternoon for our siestas. The views are truly outstanding. The house comes with a little cat called scruffy too which is a lovely little addition. Marcus gave us excellent recommendations for restaurants in the area. The only thing we would say- and this apparently is a thing in all of Spain- but when you rent a house you are not supplied with things like toilet paper, hand soap etc. Not a major concern but just good for people to know before they get there. Would highly recommend this place- it was a wonderful way to end our 6 week holiday.

Marcus was a brilliant host who was available to sort any problems out but left you to enjoy his beautiful casita if there were no problems.

Wir haben über Ostern 6 Tage in dieser wunderschönen Casita verbracht. Die Größe des Hauses ist perfekt gemütlich für 2 Personen. Das Sofa und auch das Bett sind total bequem. In der Küche ist alles vorhanden was man braucht. Nun aber das Wichtigste: Die Lage und der Ort sind absolut magisch und bezaubernd!! :) Ruhe pur…der perfekte Ort um die Seele baumeln zu lassen! So richtig perfekt wurde die Atmosphäre aber erst durch Scruffy, die Katze die dort an der Finca lebt! Scruffy ist eine so liebe und verschmuste Katze und für Tiermenschen wie uns wurde es durch sie perfekt! :) Ganz lieben Dank an Marcus für Alles (und auch für Deine Fürsorge Scruffy gegenüber!!).

The casita is a real gem, full of rustic charm and very comfortable with plenty of space for two people to spread out. I’m one of those funny guys who takes his pillow on holiday so that probably gives you an idea of how picky I am about my bed! The bed is extremely comfortable and perfect size for two guys. As was the sofa. The tv has every channel you could ask for but we didn’t really use it as the view from the terrace or pool deck is too amazing. The pool is wonderful, with a breathtaking view of the Soller valley. Around 4pm the huge palm tree shades one end which in August is perfect for sitting in the Roman steps reading you book and hiding from the strong sun. I exercised in it every day for 1.5hrs, admittedly I swam diagonal as it’s not huge but it is very much big enough for a 5’11” guy to get my strokes in. The casita is a 10 minute walk to Soller and a 45 min walk to the port. However it is only a couple of mins to the main road for buses and taxis, or walk to the square and get the tram to the beach if you can tear yourself away from the pool. Please listen to Marcus and rent the smallest car you can do. The narrow road up to the casita is not for large cars and there is one bend I found a little frightening but you get used to it. However when we return (and we definitely will) I might not bother with a car as it’s so well served by public transport. But it is a steep hill up to the casita but that just helps burn off the excesses of holiday. Marcus and Tiffany are marvellous hosts. We booked pre pandemic (over two years ago) and have messed around with our booking so many times we doubted we’d ever make it. They were so accommodating and reasonable each time and made it as stressless as possible. They were on hand for my daft questions (the oven is gas if like me you’re wondering why it’s hot heating 30 minutes after turning it on) and incredibly respectful of our privacy. In these uncertain times it really matters who you’re renting off, and I cannot recommend Marcus and Tiffany enough. And then there’s the cat - she’s adorable and played substitute for our Lab back home. Finally, Soller - it’s such an amazing old town, full of delightful buildings and history.

Wir haben 2 wundervolle Wochen in Sóller verlebt, abgeschieden ganz für uns, das hatten wir uns so sehr gewünscht, nachdem uns im Corona-Wahnsinn Mallorca der einzige Ausweg war. Das Haus hat alles, was man braucht, die Lage ist uneinsehbar, die Zufahrt eine Herausforderung, jedoch mit Kleinwagen machbar - es lohnt sich! Traumhafte Wandertouren, der Strand wenige Minuten entfernt, und ein Blick, der Tag für Tag die Seele füttert. Marcus wäre stets eine WhatsApp entfernt gewesen, es fehlte uns aber an nichts, sodass wir unsere Ruhe in vollen Zügen genießen konnten. Zum Thema Bett: wir haben uns sehr gefreut, dass wir - wie auch zuhause - ein Bett hatten, das eine durchgängige Matratze und eine große Bettdecke für uns beide hatte. 2 einzelne Bettdecken werden überbewertet ;) Das Bett hat im übrigen nicht gequietscht, alles stabil ;) Fazit: Wer eine Kuschelfinca für ruhige Tage zu zweit sucht mit traumhafter Aussicht, der sollte dieses Häuschen nicht verpassen! Wonderful Casita nestled in the mountains of Sóller! Perfect location! Marcus the host is great and helpful! I highly recommend this stay. It’s suggested that you rent a small car to ascend the driveway up! It’s steep and narrow!

Nice little place for two, great starting point for bike rides, relaxing atmosphere, wonderful pool with fantastic view of Sóller and the mountains. See you next time!

Wir haben das Objekt vom 01.08.2020 bis 15.08.2020 gebucht und waren sehr zufrieden. Die Beschreibung war so wie wir das Objekt vorgefunden haben, sehr gemütlich und eine schöne Aussicht auf Soller. Markus hat uns Empfangen und war sehr höflich und auch der Kontakt vorher war einwandfrei, bei Fragen oder Problemen ist er immer zu erreichen. Die Finca ist wirklich schön gelegen und man kann alles gut erreichen, die Anfahrt zur Finca braucht etwas Übung, das der Weg sehr steil und kurvenreich ist. Der Empfehlung von Marcus ein Fahrzeug zu nehmen das nicht größer wie ein Polo ist sollte unbedingt beachtet werden, da sonst eine Zufahrt zur Finca nicht möglich ist. Ich kann diese Finca nur weiterempfehlen !!

Sehr schöne Lage . Absolut ruhig gelegen. Traumhafter Blick vom Pool , der allein uneinsichtig genutzt werden kann. Gut ausgestattete Küche . Gasherd, Mikrowelle ,außen : Gasgrill Fußweg ins Zentrum Soller 8 Minuten Sehr gute Betreuung durch Marcus . Kommen gerne wieder Auf jeden Fall kleines schmales Auto mieten, da Zuweg sehr eng .

Uns hat es sehr gut gefallen - die Lage ist klasse und super ruhig Würden gerne wiederkommen

Gesamte Eindruck ist positiv, minus Abstriche für die Erreichbarkeit ( sehr schmale,und holprigen Straße) , keine gute Licht Verhältnisse im Haus ( das Badezimmer ist fast dunkel,) und das Bett quietscht ! Sonst sehr nette Vermieter •

After a warm, dry sunny week in Casita Tranquilidad we are not looking forward to our return to British weather. The house is well equipped, cosy and perfect for two. The recommendation of a small car is spot on as the lane up from the main road is narrow, steep and twisty. Marcus’s communication through the process from booking initially to departure was fantastic. And the views from the terrace, either over coffee in the morning to a glass of wine in the evening are simply stunning and worth the drive up. Watching the changing colours of the Tramuntana mountains is not to be missed!

Excellent villa and very well appointed. Steep climb to villa may be a problem for some people and drive up not easy,

Well equipped with both sitting and bedroom air conditioning, and a great kitchen. The drive up the hill is a challenge first time but easily mastered! Do get a small car though as Marcus suggests! Overall a great place to stay and we would definitely come back if returning to Soller.

Nach einer Anfahrt für geübte Fahrer erlebt man ein romantisches Fleckchen mit überragendem Ausblick. Marcus kümmert sich um alles.

Alles perfekt, sehr schönes Haus, mit gepflegten Aussenbereich, der sehr großzügig ist. Schön ist auch der etwas oberhalb gelegene Pool, auch von dort spektakuläre Aussicht auf Soller und das Tramuntana- Gebirge. Danke an Marcus, er hat prompt auf alle Fragen geantwortet. Toller Urlaub!

A very private and cosy Finca overlooking the Soller valley. Just 1 km from Soller town centre. An ideal get away from all the bustle location. Very comfy and well equipped. The view from the pool sun deck is stunning.

For the price, I think we would try elsewhere during our next visit to Mallorca. Pros: view of mountains, gas grill, updated kitchen, washer, pool (if clean) Cons: narrow uphill drive, furniture needs updating, couch smells like old socks, no real extras (toilet paper, coffee, soap, shampoo, etc.), communication could be improved (just generally felt like we were unwanted and spoken to like children many times). Wanted to love it, but in the end felt like we paid too much for the experience.

The narrow roadway leading to the cottage is a challenge but after a few runs you get the hang of it. Rent a very small car and if possible arrange to meet Marcus at the bottom of the hill for some pointers. It is a short walk into Soller, downhill, and a good workout walking back up. Soller is in our opinion the best village on Mallorca. For trips into Palma we recommend taking the bus, which stops at the foot of the hill. Marcus is most responsive and check in and out is straightforward.

I was an amazing view of the Soller valley and a very functional property. Everything works well and it was perfect for two people. We were walking in the daytime and it was easy with short distance two walking routes and to the center of Soller for dinning. We really appreciate the gas-grill - an easy option for dinner too. We only had a short stay and did not use all the possibilities. In the summer, the pool must be lovely. We enjoyed having breakfast outside on the little terrace enjoying the view together with the cat! Thank you to Marcus for helping us buying breakfast and welcoming us late in the evening. We can recommend this property.
