This was our 3rd stay and is always exceptional. New improvements and upgrades were very impressive. Looking forward to our next trip and stay in the fall. We very highly recommend this to friends and family.

Love this cute little cabin. Spent 4 days and three nights here frpm 6-9-22 to 6-12-22 and will definitely come again in the future. The host was very helpful in explaining all the functions of the cabin and I truly enjoyed hanging out in the hot tub and playing corn hole with my son. The cabin is in close proximity to Lake Arrowhead and Lake Gregory. My only complaint is the driveway as it is close to the highway and a little narrow, but I got used to it after awhile. Will love to come back again!

We had an absolutely wonderful stay! My husband and I were longing for a little getaway and after researching several properties in the surrounding areas, we settled upon "Above the Clouds", and it was everything we hoped it would be. Anything and everything you could need or want, is provided. Weather was perfect, hot club was clean, complimentary coffee/tea and bottle of wine, very private and secluded. Our dogs especially enjoyed the big, fully fenced/secure backyard. We enjoyed some bbq, cornhole and hammock time! Took a short drive to Lake Arrowhead village for an excellent breakfast at Belgian Waffle Works. 10/10 would highly recommend! Thank you, Craig, for being such an attentive host!

Truly relaxing. Excellent cabin with superb yard perfect for pets and kids. Hot tub was amazing and fireplace indoor and outdoor a great bonus. Host was thoughtful in all respects.

Had a really great time staying at above the clouds. Twin peaks is a beautiful mountain retreat and the cabin was a lot of fun.

Can’t wait to go back and stay longer.

This is our 2nd stay in Craig's cabin. We love this one and plan on staying there many more times. Beautifully decorated with a great large fenced backyard that the dogs loved. It has everything you would find in your own home and is always spotless. I highly recommend this one!

Great place to stay to get away and just relax for a weekend or more! We had our two dogs with us and the completely fenced in (large) yard was enjoyed by all of us. A very nice place to stay and a place we will be returning to for sure.

Above the Clouds was a perfect cabin getaway and exactly what we needed. Craig was extremely responsive and a great host. We would certainly visit again. Loved it!

This was an absolutely amazing cabin! The hot tub and outdoor shower were the icing on the cake! The inside was beautifully decorated and the kitchen was very nice! This place is perfect for a romantic getaway. It’s small, but the floor plan is perfect and open so it doesn’t make you feel trapped. Instead, this cabin makes you wanna cuddle up next to the fireplace and play card games as you watch tv, which is precisely what we did (after the hot tub, of course). The kitchen is well-equipped with pots, pans, utensils, etc., but if you’re a foodie (or even if you’re not) make sure to bring the food, spices, condiments you’ll want (a heads-up, since each rental is different). The outdoor space is PHENOMENAL. It’s fenced in and perfect for the doggo(s). The outdoor shower is truly amazing, and the hot tub is the cherry on top. There are other games out back (horseshoes, corn hole, hammock), but we didn’t end up making it past the shower! The parking was fine, we backed in. I could see how it could be intimidating, but we got used to it after the first go-around. This place is a gem. Other perks: - Clean - Communicative owner - Plenty of towels - Perfect proximity to Blue Jay, Lake Arrowhead, Lake Gregory

This place was wonderful and everything we were looking for and then some. All the way from the cabin getaway decor to the private backyard with the hot tub. It has everything you need for a long weekend away. Highly recommend for anyone looking to have a quiet weekend away in a cute home away from home.

We loved our stay at Above the Clouds. Everything was clean when we arrived. Check-in was easy and Craig made sure to be available to go over some information over the phone. Craig also responded quickly when I texted some questions. The bed was so comfortable. We loved spending our evenings in the hot tub and outdoor shower. It was the perfect setting to unwind from everything. We're definitely planning on booking again!

Place had all the comforts of being at home. Tech savvy owner. Would recommend to hire a professional house cleaner.

Absolutely loved the cabin and the little town, everything was perfect, we had some trouble with the jacuzzi on the las two nights but everything else was great, we loved our stay at the pine rose cabins

Wonderful cabin for the wife and I to spend some quality time together away from it all. Owner was very helpful and very accommodating with the entire trip.

I enjoyed my stay here at the cabin. The amenities were terrific. It snowed and rain so I didn’t get to enjoy the hot tub but I’m planning on returning in the summer time! Would love to experience the outdoor shower next time.

Everything was exactly as described - and maybe even better! Despite there being neighbor cabins, the feel of this place is private, secluded , and serene. Yes, the driveway is a little challenging for those who are unfamiliar with the realities of mountain living and the oak trees dropping acorns took some getting used to, but the bed was wonderful, the kitchen had everything imaginable, and the fireplace and tv made down time the most relaxing time ever! And outdoor showers are the best!! Craig was fantastic to deal with and the cabin is amazing! We'll be back!!

Easy rental process.

We had a lovely time at the cabin with our fur babies, enjoyed playing yard games and the hot tub. All of the smart home features were great and we loved evenings snuggling in watching a movie. Craig is also an amazing host!

stayed here with my husband and our 4 dogs. Its great for dogs, plenty of open space in the enclosed yard for them to run around and the Jacuzzi was nice for us. We didn't have any problems walking the dogs with being off the highway like another reviewer since we walked them around the back to where more open land and cabins are. The location is nice, pretty close to everything. It would be tight for more than 2 people Good amenities in the cabin and craig was very responsive. The shower could use a cleaning but none the less we would for sure return

Unfortunately, it seems that Twin Peaks and Lake Arrowhead are not as tranquil as one might hope. Traffic is quite heavy on all roads and everyone drives much faster than the posted speed limits. This cabin was lovely and the owner was gracious and responsive. But, the cabin is right on a main road. We could not safely walk our dog in the area. Also, backing into the driveway, which was required since backing out was highly dangerous, was tricky. Given that one must turn into traffic (blocking both directions on the road) in order to position to back in, we had several close calls with getting t-boned, the last of which was far too close. We contacted the owner and he called immediately to tell us we could park in the larger parking area next door, which is owned by a larger cabin rental company. But, we were already too shaken up at that point and decided to terminate our stay after only 1 of the 3 days we booked. Again, the owner was very gracious and kind and felt badly that we decided to leave. I give him full credit for his customer service and it is not his fault that the traffic is now so dense there. I'm sure it must have been very peaceful at one time in this area. For those considering this cabin, you would likely be safer if using the space next door (though you must still be careful in parking and exiting, given the high traffic) and if you don't bring a dog. I have to say I hesitated in writing this review because I do not wish to adversely affect the booking of this cabin, but for reasons of safety, I do believe prospective visitors should know of the dangers not just at this cabin but throughout the entire area on the roads.

We had a really great three days at Craig's cabin. We spent the majority of our time at the cabin itself, enjoying both in doors and out doors. It is a very convenient location. Close to the other small towns and to many restaurants.

A really lovely property. At 750 square feet, it feels twice as big. Plenty of room for relaxing, playing games, cooking, dining and sleeping. Great back yard with plenty of room for our dogs to run around, and a jacuzzi to soak in. Loved the outdoor shower. The owner Craig was great to work with, and has thought of nice touches to make the space homey.

Craig has gone above and beyond to put together an amazing little cabin for a family getaway. The backyard is spacious and private, and was absolutely perfect for our dog to stretch her legs. While we didn't spend much time in the living room, the entertainment center is a great place to unwind after a long day enjoying the mountains. The TV is huge and has access to so many streaming options that you'll be able to find something perfect for the whole family. The kitchen and grilling area were immaculate and allowed us to prepare a fantastic meal, which we ate outside in the charming backyard. When we didn't want to cook, there were many restaurant options within fifteen minutes of the cottage - and one great restaurant just a short walk up the hill. We couldn't have picked a better place for our little getaway in the mountains - and we're already trying to figure out when we can go back! Thanks, Craig!
