The location of this apartment is amazing. A three minute walk from the Rialto bridge but very quite, private and secure. It is also a 5 minute walk to the airport boat shuttle. Mariateresa met us coming off the boat and was very helpful and prepared.

This place was super cute and was perfect for just a few nights with a friend (or partner). Mariateresa was so sweet as she helped us carry our luggage to the place as well as guided us through the check in and also gave recommendations for restaurants and sight seeing!

We had a wonderful holiday in this very comfortable clean apartment. Very close to the Rialto bridge and vaporetto stop. The apartment was very quiet and we really appreciated the added bonus of a spacious outdoor area. Mariateresa is an excellent host and always responds quickly to any messages. We would definitely stay again the next time we are in Venice.

We had a wonderful time in Venice! Mariateresa was not feeling well but she communicated with us by phone quickly the whole time. She had lots of great information available about Venice, many treats in the apartment and could not have been nicer. It is a very quiet apartment with a fantastic terrace. One caution, we are both large people, and I use crutches so we found the space to be a little hard to move around and to enter. But for Venice we felt like it was a very good place to stay.

Mariateresa met us at the airport water bus and spent time ensuring we felt at home. All very comfortable and pleasant.

Our host was most helpful throughout our booking process. We were provided with plenty of tips and useful information to make sure our stay was a happy one. We were met from the water bus making finding the apartment much easier. In our apartment we had everything we needed for our weekly stay, the lovely terrace provided a welcome retreat on a hot day. The location was perfect, right by the Rialto Bridge, we were central to all the sights yet the apartment was quiet. A lovely stay and would definitely return and recommend to others.

A warm personal welcome. The apartment was charming and had everything we needed. The beds were very comfortable and the balcony was lovely. Despite it being early March we spent a lot of time sitting out on it it was sheltered and private. I highly recommend this apartment.

Mariateresa made us feel extremely welcome & comfortable. She met us at the ferry & even booked train tickets for us, as well as finding out about events & concerts we might like. The place is so conveniently located we walked almost everywhere. It is also very quiet though close to some fantastic shops & a quick walk to San Marco Square. We recommend her lovely apartment.

Mariateresa was very welcoming, friendly and helpful. The accommodation was central to Venice and all attractions were in walking distance. My friends and I loved the terrace for homemade meals :)

Don't know what else to say but fabulous! The location can't be beat, the outdoor patio was a cool retreat, quiet and full of fragrant Jasmine in bloom. The apartment is a simple old style Italian retreat but workable and cozy. Plenty of window for a wonderful breeze and you couldn't beat the hospitality of Mariateresa. I highly recommend this property.

Mariateresa met us at the Rialto vaparetto stop with a very warm welcome. The entrance to the apartment is through narrow alleys from the very busy Rialto bridge, despite being so close to the crowds, the apartment is very peaceful - the only sounds that can be heard are the church bells and the cooing of the pigeons. Outside space is very rare in the heart of Venice, so the very peaceful, private roof terrace was a welcome relief from the crowds only one minute away at the Rialto bridge. Mariateresa gave us all the information we needed and left us gifts and provided many basic kitchen provisions as well as things like mosquito repellents and candles for the terrace etc. The apartment was clean and fresh, the (double) bed was very comfortable, there was adequate wardrobe space and there was always adequate hot water at good pressure. We did struggle a little with the shower, but this was more than compensated for by the central location, tranquil roof garden and Mariateresa's thoughtfulness. Grazie Mille.

Everything worked very well, and I give it five stars for me, (...and my mom-daughter winter break escape trip). Mariateresa was very helpful with the arrival arrangements, anything we would need during our stay, and helping us set up the logistics of our departure reserving a water taxi for us (since we had to be at the airport at 5 in the morning). The apartment is in a very central and convenient location, in a small street just around the corner of the main busy street. The wifi is excellent, and even though it was very cold in venice the heater kept us very warm (and we were able to control it as we pleased) It has a nice terrace but since it was winter we could not give it any use. It was well equipped to make a basic breakfast (or even cook if you would want; I did not, though) .... Things I would change (if I could), to make it even better.... I was warned there were some steps to go up, so, if you have big heavy bags (like I did) it is a little inconvenient. I would have liked to have a TV, (I do know Mariateresa tried to set up one in the past but had some technical issues). The shower area is pretty small and blends into the rest of the bathroom, so it is not the most comfortable shower in the world but its ok . Finally, something some people may, or may not mind, is that, even though the apartment is completely separated and independent behind a door that is locked, it shares the main entrance with Mariateresa's living area. It was perfectly fine for us, but, if you want complete and absolute privacy (with nobody knowing if you are coming or going) , it may be something you may mind, on the other hand, and on a positive note if you do not want to feel completely "alone and with nobody around" this may actually be something reassuring . In summary, it was perfect for my trip and I would definitely recommend it keeping these thing in mind. I love Venice, and plan to keep going back and very likely, if it is me and my daughter, this is the place where I would stay again.

We hopped off the vaporetto, were met by Mariatheresa, and within a minute’s walk we were up the elevator and in our quiet and cozy one-bedroom apartment. Mariatheresa has done everything possible to make her guests comfortable. Welcome snacks, a comfortably-furnished outdoor sitting area (very private), and, best of all, a comfortable bed. The apartment is well-furnished and the kitchen is equipped for preparing breakfast or a light meal. The only downside, as mentioned by many previous reviewers, is the bathroom. It is very small and when you take a shower the entire room gets drenched. Also, the bathroom itself could be a bit cleaner. But for a comfortable stay close to the Rialto, this is a fine choice.

The apartment was all as advertised in a great location. The communication with the landlord was good - she was very nice. The kitchen had a quirky layout and the shower was small. Overall it was great.

The accommodation and its amenities were exactly as described. Mariateresa was prompt in correspondence prior to our arrival. We were met, on arrival at the Rialto vaporetto stop, by Mariateresa 's son, a well-spoken and pleasant young man. He answered our questions and recommended places to eat. The accommodation is only a short stroll from the vaporetto stop, a most convenient location. There are 2 mini markets nearby. Even though the owner and her family live in the apartment downstairs, our accommodation was private, quiet and comfortable. We also appreciated the Colomba cake and bottle of juice on the table when we arrived. We enjoyed our stay very much in the accommodation and highly recommend it. We would stay in Mariateresa's apartment again if we return to Venice. Grazie mille!

The minute we arrived at Mariathersa,s apartment and opened the door, we felt right at home, a lovely wrapped cake, cookies and juice were there to welcome us. It is very nicely stocked with everything that you need. We enjoyed cooking in our little kitchen and going to the open market for fresh veggies, cheeses, fish etc. We loved our terrace filled with beautiful plants and enjoyed going out there for breakfast, dinner and wine. You wake up to the birds and their beautiful sounds. Mariatheresa was so helpful with museums that we had not seen, so many great neighborhoods to explore and feel like a local. We have been to Venice many times, but have never stayed in an apartment, this was certainly a 5 star for hospitality, convenience and the charm, it really was a dream come true for us and we look forward to coming to stay again. We have just spent a week at this charming apartment in Venice. Mariateresa was very helpful in arranging our stay and meeting us at the Rialto Water Bus stop after our trip from the airport. The apartment is just as the pictures show and the terrace is to die for. We spent a great deal of our time relaxing in the quiet and privacy of this little green oasis each day. The apartment is well appointed and the bed is extremely comfortable, but the biggest plus is the remarkable location. It's just a short walk to St. Marks Square and the Academia. Of course, the Rialto Bridge is just around the corner. If you visit Venice, be sure to take the time to visit the islands of Murano and Burano. The relaxed atmosphere there is a welcome respite from the crowds in Venice. The glass and lace shopping is just the topping on the cake. Thank you, Mariateresa for making our stay in your wonderful city so easy and enjoyable. We will be back.

This is by far the best apartment we've ever stayed in Italy! The apartment is located just a few steps away from the Rialto Bridge. It's busy on the street level but once you are in the apartment, you hear nothing! The owner Mariateresa is very detailed oriented and makes sure we know our way to her apartment. We were greeted by Ferruccio at the Rialto Bridge’s water bus stop. The apartment is on the 1st floor (2nd floor in N.America) with elevator. We have no problem fitting ourselves with two medium size luggage, a backpack and camera bag into the elevator. The apartment is clean, bright and has everything we need during our stay. You can tell that the owner puts a lot of thoughts into making sure her guests are well accommodated. From the welcome juice and pies to almost everything you need(cooking, jams, butter, kettle, fridge, TV, heater, washing machine, air conditioner, ironing board, hair dryer, cloth rack, microwave, toaster, cooktop coffee maker, and etc.). The WiFi is fast with 10+Mbps connection speed. We enjoyed very much of the private and secluded patio. It is surrounded by green foliage. There are also many Venice travel guide books in the apartment and the owner even highlighted the important tips for her guests! Thanks Mariateresa for your warm hospitality and we will not hesitate to recommend your place to our friends and family members.

Charming, Cozy and Central Mariateresa was the perfect and most gracious hostess, providing us with everything we needed to begin our month long stay in Venice, and continued her fabulous support throughout our visit. The coffee cake she left for us on arrival was delicious! We even got chocolate eggs at Easter :) She made us feel so welcome and at home. The apartment is cozy, and comes with a fantastic terrace, perfect for morning moka or a glass of vino in the evening. The sounds of the surrounding church bells that ring every hour add to the ambience of the setting. The small kitchenette is perfect for light meals. There is a Coop just down the way for groceries, and Mariateresa even provided us with a rolling bag to carry them. Thanks! There are so many restaurants, cafés, sandwich and coffee bars close by to enjoy whatever you like. Don't stay out on the terrace if you're hungry though, the delicious smells of all the food from those places come wafting up! There is also WiFi access that comes with the apartment, it was fast and worked well. The access to the washing machine was also so great to have! The Rialto Bridge and vaparetto stop are right around the corner. Rialto Market is only a couple of minutes away. San Marco is a 5 minute walk. The train station is one stop away on the vaparetto. The apartment is as centrally located as you can get. There is an elevator, which is fantastic, as both my mom and I have light mobility issues. There is one small flight of stairs into the apartment. We managed it, but anyone with more severe mobility issues might have some problems. Compared to other places I've stayed at in Europe, I absolutely loved this little apartment. I've already recommended to other friends who are travelling to Venice in the future, and I know where I'll be staying on my next visit! Grazie mille, Mariateresa!
