The staff, the food (both breakfast and dinner), the service and the room spot on. A great atmosphere. Family run and shows that when owners care the quality follow. We will go out of our way to pass through again on next travel.

Helpful and welcoming staff who engaged in the spirit of using Google Translator App to help smooth out any breakdown in communications between my poor German and their English! Very accommodating letting me put my motorbike in a garage and thoughtful when it came to dinner as the owner had an unexpected bereavement which meant the main restaurant was full of her guests and friends. Instead, I was seated with just one other guest in the room used for breakfast, which was lovely and peaceful and since I am a solo traveller, suited me well. I was only passing through so did not get chance to check out the area for local attractions or places of interest.
