What a beautiful hotel and amazing staff. I highly recommend it! From the moment you arrive, they learn your name and make sure to take care of anything you need. The beds are amazing and the rooms are super comfortable. As there are only five rooms, it was pretty quiet, but with as much drinks, fun and good as you wanted to add. We spent an entire day just drifting from the pool, to our deck, to the bar and back. Lovely!

We had the red curry with shrimp and it was amazing. The chicken pieces were also delicious. On the other hand, we had the fresh fish for dinner and each had two of the sides, trying four of them and the sides were just so-so. It's also a 20- minute golf cart ride from town, so it's nice to be in the quiet beauty, but takes a bit to get into town.

The staff was exceptional. Wonderful attitudes, eager to assist and have friendly conversations. Very genuine.

We absolutely loved the location of the property.. The property was amazing , the rooms were amazing, and the staff was the best. They greeted us with open arms the entire time of our stay. The food and beverage was really great. I would definitely recommend Playa De Sala

fabulous boutique hotel. very peaceful place with amazing staff super friendly. only 5 rooms and we felt we were the only people there!

The staff were wonderful and accommodating. The food was very good, but the service was somewhat variable. There were a lot of mosquitoes as the land back of the resort is swampy. The rooms are well appointed, but very open, the bathrooms are more European and do not afford much privacy. That being said, the sunsets are beautiful and the owner is very gracious, I would highly recommend trying one of their signature cocktails and enjoying a fine meal on the rooftop (adults only)

This is a small property with only 5 rooms. It is very quiet. The beach for Belize is great!. The view is awesome from the beach, your room or the bar on top of the hotel.. The staff at this property go way out of their way to make sure you have everything you need at any time of the day. The food is as good as you will get anywhere on the Island and the bar makes exception margarita's and martini's!!! I would not consider Belize as an area with exceptional hotels or food options in the city but Playa is 5 star for both and will make sure you have everything to make a great vacation from Golf cart excursions to secret beach to flats fishing with exceptional guides. We will without a doubt stay at Playa again!

Food outstanding. Probably best quality on the island. Staff - literally everyone - is pleasant, professional and committed to ensuring guests are well taken care of.

There was nothing I “didn’t like” about Playa de Sala. That said, if you are looking for a place where you can walk out of your room and into the ocean, this isn’t really that place. You can swim in the bay but it’s shallow and the sea grass bottom, for which many areas of Ambergris Caye are famous, is not to everyone’s Iiking.
