Such a great house and property. Overlooking the lake with endless wildlife, including fish jumping, kookaburras and kangaroos. Easy walk into town and to the beach. Property was clean and pool was great.

This property offers near level access for my elderly father (2 steps to get in, level once inside), proximity to the lagoon (20m), 4 mins walk to the beach, an inground pool much to my son’s delight, (very) friendly kookaburras, a great layout with pretty much everything you could want in it, and a gorgeous natural location. We will be holidaying here again with our family ASAP!!

The location and amenities were just as per description/photos! Smelled lovely with diffusers and fresh cut geraniums from the garden throughout, clean and tidy, lovely array of furniture/seating/decorations. Felt very peaceful and calm. Everyone loved the fishing, proximity to the beach, the pool…and what a lovely town with all you could need! Recommendations for improvements to get a 5 star from us were bins in bathroom/toilets, a watercraft of some description for use on the lake, staples like cling wrap/foil/salt & pepper, supply sheets and towels. Only real negative though was the kookaburras on the lake-side deck - we couldn’t eat out there with that gorgeous view in the fresh air because of them. They were very persistent and quite aggressive. As much as I would’ve hated having anything between me and the lake/view, I still would’ve preferred to have the large deck area screened in so we could use it more.

This was our fourth visit to this property and it never disappoints. It is fabulous house in a beautiful location, we had 4 Adults and 6 kids stay comfortably. Great fishing out the back, short walk to the shops, the pool area is a great area. the house is the perfect holiday house and we cannot wait to go back again next year.

We love this property & have stayed many times. It always feels like 'coming home' The location is perfect, the view is ever changing & the house is so comfortable. We have introduced many friends to this fabulous location over the years. We do however, still miss the iconic print from the loungeroom.

Had a well overdue family reunion and this was the perfect location for us. Very tranquil and relaxing. Accomodation was ideal for our family with all of the facilities and a great outlook.

Great location and property, the views over the lake were lovely and we all enjoyed the pool. The property is close to town, we enjoyed an easy bike ride in to get ice cream and go to the park. Its also an easy 20 min drive to coffs harbour where went to the big banana for a fun day out. We will definitely be back for a longer stay next time 4 nights just wasn't enough. There was only one downfall, my husband and I both found the mattress in the main bedroom uncomfortable.

From the moment we stepped into the property we were impressed. Such a beautiful home and location. We loved everything about this property and will definitely stay here again in the near future. Thank you for such a relaxing holiday.

We had a great week enjoying the wildlife and beach walks. It was the perfect location. The pool was refreshing but still warm enough for daily swims. Definitely would like to return. Thanks for such a well set up property.

We had a lovely few days staying at Melaleuca Lakeside - the location is quiet, relaxing and beautiful with it's outlook over the lake. Perfect for families - the pool our children occupied for hours. The accomodation is a ten minute walk to town and a patrolled part of the beach - the beach is great for swimming, body boarding and surfing. A fabulous holiday away. Thank you!

Perfect place to stay, especially during covid. Fishing and swimming kept everyone entertained. Great utilities ment we could cook at house keeping us all safe from crowds. Look forward to returning in the future

This was our second stay at this property and it wont be our last. Great property, great location, the property is nice and clean and you can go fishing in the lake, swimming in the pool and a short walk to the beach. Everything you want in a holiday house

This house was in a lively location. Walk to the beach and ships. We also loved the pool. Unfortunately the owners are a bit stingy. 1 roll of toilet paper for a 5 day stay, no hand soap In the bathrooms and no salt, pepper or oil in the kitchen

I would highly recommend this property! The view of the lake is amazing and the pool is beautiful! Our teenagers didn’t want to leave the house during the day because there was so much for them to do there. The adults could have spent our whole trip sitting on the back deck looking at the lake. The house was well appointed had everything we needed. The real estate were amazing and made the whole process so easy!! We would definitely love to stay here again.

great area to have a relaxing stay not so sure about the house sleeping 9 maybe 4 adults and 3 or 4 kids whould be ok we had 5 adults so was ok 1 in the 3rd bedroom

Fantastic place to visit, ticked all the boxes, great accommodating place. We had 4 adults, a 4yr old girl. my little girl caught her first fish and was over the moon. Plenty of fish off the back when at high tide. Plenty of local wildlife which was awesome to watch. we will definitely be back.

Loved , Loved , Loved this property. Gorgeous views over the lake, 10 minute walk to beach, Woolgoolga, Woolies and local pub. Really well equipped house especially in kitchen and around pool . Perfect place for little and big people with plenty of space. We ended up spending most of our time around the house pool and beach very chilled. Will definitely stay there again.

Great property for all ages. Excellent facilities. Well maintained

Overall is recommended. One area we found could be improved was having to bring bed linen plus towels. Understandably covid may have caused this but a 5 star property would provide these.

Perfect for larger family looking to spend some quality time together. Relax by the pool, go fishing or enjoy watching as the friendly wildlife comes right past the door. Only a short walk into town enjoy a great coffee at blue bottles . The house has plenty of room is well presented and very clean and the real estate is very friendly and easy to deal with. We look forward to our next holiday here.

We love this house & have stayed before. It is a fabulous location, we love the lake & it's birdlife & so very close to the beach. It is an easy flat walk to everywhere.
