Celebrated my 60 th with 25 members of my family. Monica and her team Maria the cook made us all feel at home. We had a typical Italian breakfast every morning and a delightful dinner every evening.From outside you had a spectacular view of Mount Etna and its about 20 mins drive to Taormina.

Nestled among grape vines and fruit trees, Le Case del Principe is a relaxing oasis just below Taormina, near the sea with soaring views of Etna. The rooms are immaculate, lovingly decorated in the local style and the food is out of this world. It's one of those places where time seems to stand still and let's you reconnect with yourself and nature.

Our group of twenty adults spent a wonderful two weeks at Le Case del Principe. We rented cars at the airport in Catania and used the villa as a base for exploring Etna and the vicinity. The driving was challenging at times, with twisting roads to hill towns, but let us see many off the beaten path spots. The property was even more lovely than pictured, with quiet corners for reading, and shady gathering spots for large group dinners. We rented the entire estate so there was privacy and comfort for all. There was also a bocce court which provided opportunity for lively evening competitions. The grounds were beautifully maintained with lemon trees and colorful flowers surrounding the pool areas. Monica and the other staff members were responsive to all our needs, and the meals prepared for us by Maria and Antoinetta featured fresh local ingredients in traditional Sicilian recipes. Outstanding! We appreciated Monica's help in arranging day trips to Agrigento and Piazza Armerina, a fabulous wine tasting at Gambino Vini, and a night out for pizza at Flora. We also enjoyed waking into town for cappuccino and croissants in the mornings. Other day trips included exploring Mt. Etna , Alcantra Gorges, Taormina, Enna, Castiglione , Savoca, and other picturesque spots. Those who love ceramics were particularly satisfied by the shops in Caltagirone. A highlight for us all was a concert by the tenors "IL Volo" in the spectacular setting of the ancient Greek theater in Taormina with Mt. Etna as a backdrop. I would definitely recommend the property to others. We were sad to say farewell to Monica who who became like a family member to our group.

Our group was 15 people including 3 small kids. We each had our own bedrooms and bathrooms. Each area had a living room. But the highlight of this property was the covered patio, with a table large enough for all of us to dine together. There is also a quite a bit of nice patio furniture to enjoy. All of this beautiful area is surrounded by vineyards, lemon, orange and grapefruit trees. We were very close to Taormina, and the beach, but you could just stay at the villa and be perfectly content. Monica put together our trips to Mt. Etna, the Gambino Vineyard, and the Godfather tour. They were all fabulous, with our own van, and the same driver each day. Maria cooked for us at least three night, and I highly recommend this at least once. She is quite an accomplished chef and we enjoyed her meals more than local restaurants. The location was prime, not far from the Catania airport, Taormina, Castelmola, the beach and several beautiful cities. The owner Principe Gabriele, Monika, Maria, and Antoinette (don't know if I got that right) really did everything possible to make our stay enjoyable. If you decide to stay here please go with their ideas on what to see and do in the area, but schedule some downtime to just enjoy the property. One thing I forgot to mention but is very important to me is that the property is very clean.

We had a group of 18 stay at the Case del Principe. We had a wonderful stay. Monica took great care of us. Maria the chef made so many wonderful meals- it was like a culinary heaven. The grounds- with the sights and smells of the lemon groves and wine vineyards were nothing short of extraordinary. I highly recommmend this villa and their staff. Chris Wing

We were a party of 8 Anericans looking for a place in Sicily to serve as a base for our exploration of the area and celebration of our son's wedding. Our son chose the perfect place in booking Le Case del Príncipe. This villa has six lovely ensuite bedrooms, a huge family kitchen and ample indoor and outdoor common areas, along with a large pool and deck area. We were greeted by the wonderful Monica, guest manager of the property. We were made to feel right at home and Monica was so helpful with a huge generosity of spirit. The house cook was Mary. We had a specially prepared traditional Sicilian dinner one evening that was a culinary masterpiece. The Prince chose wisely in having these wonderful women representing him and his glorious Villa. Our stay at Le Case del Príncipe was the single most memorable vacation of my life. Our thanks to the Prince, Monica and Mary. I recently had the pleasure of staying at the Le Case Del Principe. My Wife and I traveled from the US and rented the Estate house for Friends & Family & Ourselves for the first week of July in 2016. We spoke with Prince Gabrielle over the phone to arrange the rental and found him to be very helpful. We were married in Taormina and the villa was a great base for all of our activities. There were 8 of us. The estate was beautiful, with views of Etna, the mountains, vineyards & orchards. Upon arrival we were greeted by Monica, the caretaker of the Villa. Monica gave us a tour of the property, told us what there was in the area and even gave us a ride to the market. She was amazingly helpful. We had a bit of a medical emergency when one of my friends dislocated his shoulder. Monica came to our rescue, arranged an ambulance and stayed with my friend for hours at the hospital translating for him. She was truly amazing and went above and beyond and we were extremely grateful for her help. The house had a Kitchen where we cooked dinner almost every night, we got fresh meats & produce from the market right up the road from the property. When we weren’t touring the area or getting married we spent our down time relaxing around the pool & wandering around the property. We found the rooms & property to be comfortable & clean. The town of Trapitello was a short walk from the Villa. Every morning I would walk into town & get fresh pastries & cappuccinos for the house from the local bar. The town had anything we needed and the walk had some really neat views of some of the other vineyards & orchards in the area. The night before we were married we had Maria, the house chef, cook dinner for us. Maria’s meal was delicious with fresh local Sicilian dishes & wine that seemed to never end. I was even able to get her Pistachio Pasta Recipe. Maria was very sweet & accommodating, reminding me much of my own Sicilian Grandmother. The meal was a real traditional Italian experience. By the way her home made Limoncello was also amazing. Our stay at the Villa was one of the best and most memorable trips of my life. Everyone in our party had a great time. We look forward to coming back one day and staying at Le Case Del Principe well worth the price.

I recently got married in Taormina and we stayed here with a couple family members and friends. The property is gorgeous and well kept in a beautiful setting. Monica and Maria were amazing! They have an option to add a home cooked meal and it is definitely worth it. Maria is an incredible cook. Monica was so helpful, patient and attentive. One of our guests accidentally dislocated his shoulder and she was right there to help us get the medical attention he needed. I cannot recommend this place enough. Thank you all so much for a beautiful and unforgettable stay!

The villa and it's surroundings were so much more than I expected. The staff was extremely attentive to every whim. Dining was fantastic. Proximity to neighboring towns was very convenient. I would recommend this villa to all. The staff makes you feel like family. I want to go back!

the staff were terrific,very helpful and fun. our villa had all the comforts of home,the meals were awesome. Monica became a lifetime friend,very good at all she did. she accompanied us on 2 tours , very knowledgeable and very patient with us as no one spoke a lick of italian.The property was always spotless and well maintained. I would recommend it to all.

Our group cannot say enough great things about this estate. Mathew grounds, pools, villa's and main house were better than we could have hoped. Renting something on line, so far away, and for so many people is quite unnerving. Arrival was wonderful and the enjoyment continued. The owner, manager, and staff could not do enough for us. We had functions at the site which only enhanced our stay. The time, effort and cooking were just spectacular. The staff went the extra mile and made our dinners and other functions so memorable.

An amazing stay with amazing hosts. My group of 21 and I stayed on this property for 1 week. The property is so charming and clean and the villas quaint and lovely. The views are indescribable. We did yoga every morning poolside and meditations on the lawn facing Mount Etna. We had a private chef that cooked our breakfast, 1 bbq lunch in the lemon groves and 3 amazing dinners facing Mount Etna. I highly recommend this property to large groups.

We spent a week at Le Case del Principe with a group of 25. It was a wonderful home base for us and allowed us to do day trips to other cities around Sicily. The facilities are comfortable and the land is beautiful. Some days, we just spent at the villa enjoying the pool. The outdoor dining area was my favorite part of the entire place, and it's also where we spent the most amount of time as a group. My only complaint was about the quality of the kitchens - the appliances were not in great condition (broken dishwasher, stove didn't properly match temperature it was set to, fridge was on a switch and accidentally got turned off one day, etc). This, however, was a minor inconvenience, and we loved our stay overall. I'd certainly recommend going here, especially with a large group.

We had a reunion, 24 people. LE CASE DEL PRINCIPE offers exceptional facilities. Located on a huge private estate, but close enough to the vilage and the sea. About 45 min drive from the Catania airport. Swimming pool, gardens, playing areas. All villas nicely decorated. Special thanks to Monica and Maria.

We took 20 of our friends and secured the whole villa for ourselves which was great fun. Monica and Maria and other grounds staff looked after us very well and cooked stunning food. The villa has the most wonderful setting, the pools are wonderfully relaxing places. We recommend the villa for anybody wanting to get away from the hustle and bustle of city life and who enjoy rustic, peaceful and well maintained accommodation.
