It was a pleasant stay. Only a few things would put it at a 5 star rating. We arrived and thank goodness we had all wheel drive as the parking lot was barely plowed to get into a parking spot. The ramp to the deck and back steps were also not shoveled. We needed to cut up food for our ski team for the next day and there was no sharp knife to do that with. We used a disposable butter knife to prep all the food. It is winter and we had many coats that has no place to go. Having hooks on the walls, a coat rack or an armoire would help with that. Lastly, it might be our fault for not reading the e-mails, but there was no shampoo or conditioner in the room. Thanks!

Clean cozy and quiet . Close to Restaraunt and store

Arrived during a heavy storm to no power. Morton Furbish was very responsive and tried to resolve several issues, but plowing was delayed and the lot never sanded. The unit 6 was very well equipped and very clean with excellent linens. The unit needs hooks to hang coats and any clothing(there was not one anywhere) The gas fireplace never worked at all and cold air came into room through it. We recognize that it was a very difficult holiday weekend, but a backup generator should be considered for this property. Morton Furbish was excellent to work with

Perfect stay. Excellent communication. Sara and Brittany were so accommodating and helpful. The Room was immaculate. And a great location with grocery and restaurant right across the street.

Nice, clean quiet place to stay in a convenient location.

The suite was great! Would use Oquossoc Motel again. The rocker chairs were great in the evening to watch the sun set. The bathroom door needs oiling and slight sanding to close better. Could hear the neighbors thru the wall at times. More towels could have been in the suite, with more coffee cups other than the 2.

Beautiful, comfortable and clean. Would definitely stay again. It was a perfect spot to return to after skiing all day. We loved being able to bring our dog with us as well.

Overall a nice little unit. Was missing a hair dryer and salt/pepper. No comforters as advertised in the listing but we would stay again.

The unit was clean and well appointed. It's obvious that much care and quality materials were used when renovating. It was very cozy inside and the gas fireplace made it seem like a cabin in the woods. We were surprised that there was no closet, or even hooks, so we had nowhere to hang our jackets, snowpants and other gear. Also, you can easily hear noise from the unit next door and the unit above. We had a nice visit and hope to return again.

We really liked the Country Suites in Oquossoc and would stay again for sure. We have been coming to the area for years - took a hiatus when we had some grandchildren out of state to visit but are back to visiting Rangeley Lakes. Great location, was surprisingly very quiet and had lots of nice amenities. Only complaint is that it could use better lighting and if it had access to a beach near by to use. The real estate agency (and agents) were great, clear communications before our arrival and the notebook in the room was very helpful.

A spontaneous trip to the Rangeley area left us searching fir a place to stay. We called Morton Furnbush and they told us they had a suite available. We looked at it online and said seems nice. We have never stayed in a Motel before. Well this really wasn't a motel. It was decorated in true Maine comfort style. Had a cozy fireplace. Everything you would want was in arms reach. And the rental team were responsive, sweet and accommodating. The two things we would have liked is coffee packets in the room, their were twin beds in the living room (but can understand why) and the lights at the doorway soffit in place. We are giving 5 stars but really feel 4.5 You will be very happy staying here for so many reasons.

We've been coming to Rangeley for over 20 years and have always gone through Morton and Furbish for our rentals. The Oquossoc motel was exactly what we would expect from them. It was well kept and very clean when we arrived which helped make our stay more relaxing and worry free. Close to the Oquossoc general store and the Portage ( which is one of our favorite dining spots), both a minute or two walk. The boat launch for Mooselook is a very shot drive , and the boat launch and boat rental for Rangeley is literally in the back yard. Downtown Rangeley is a short drive to enjoy all the shops and restaurants it has to offer. This was our second stay at the motel and I'm sure we'll be staying there again

The suite was beautiful and centrally located. Gas fireplace was great to use after a day on the trails. We could ride right out back and get the on trail system then walk to dinner, perfect location.

Great place to stay for a long weekend. Plenty of space for myself, my wife, 1 year old son, and dog. Really nice having restaurants and a small grocery store all within walking distance. Very clean and modern rooms. The only thing worth noting, is the bedroom located near the bathroom isn't cut off by a door. Because of this, our 1 year old couldn't sleep in a room without out sound and light from the the living room entering his space while sleeping. Just something for parents of young kids to be aware of if they desire some privacy/ better sleeping accommodations. Please note, this is not a flaw in anyway, just how the rooms were designed. Great place and close to everything!

The grocery store a few hundred feet away and 45th parallel are great places to grab food. The suite is well kept, spacious and clean

Unit #6 was spotlessly clean and neat and modern relative to other places we have stayed at. Having a fireplace (gas not wood) was also a very nice plus. The sleeping accomodations for 4 (two twins and a double)worked out just fine and the beds were very comfortable. The location of the unit relative to other necessary amenities (gas-food-provisions) was also great. We booked it for another week and will enjoy our stay once again.
