This was an amazing place to stay perfect in every way

We spent a lovely 10 days at The Barn. The house is very comfortable, very nicely fitted and furnished, and with comfortable beds. The garden is very pretty, a nice place to bbq. I think others have access to their gardens through this one, but we weren’t aware of that happening whilst we were there. It is just a stone’s throw from the post office which sells basic supplies, also 2 pubs, restaurants and a good pastie take-away and fish and chip van. The beach is a nice 10-15-minute amble away. The only modification the house would benefit from is a shower screen in the family bathroom, so that the users of the bedroom without en-suite don’t need to share the en suite bathrooms.

Fantastic week as always - property has been recently further improved with new beds, furniture and freshly painted. Addition of private car charging point in carpark very useful for EV owners. Highly recommended.

We have been coming to this property for years and never fail to have a great time.
Lovely cottage with a pretty garden where you can sunbathe etc in privacy.
Close to the village so you can pop out to restaurants or to pick up a takeaway coffee.
10 minutes walk to the beach.
Idyllic.

Everything about the barn was wonderful - location, cleanliness, comfort, garden, facilities - a real home from home. The beach was a short walk away with lovely coastal walks from the doorstep.

Have been to this cottage for 6 years in a row now. Feels like home. It literally couldn’t be better.

First time in North Devon and loved Croyde and the surrounding beaches. The cottage was spacious and cosy. We loved the log fire and the BBQ during our autumninal week. The rotary washing line was very handy for drying kit. We will be back!

Fabulous position. Excellent COVID awareness. Lovely and private setting. Would recommend and will be back. This not a criticism however if you have a 4 x 4 access to the property is very narrow.

Very happy and long weekend stay to recharge our batteries before the winter. The cottage was easy to access, perfectly clean and tidy on arrival. Very comfortable throughout with great amenities. We particularly enjoyed the open fire in the evenings and also the garden terrace which was warm enough to sit out at for lunch one day. Great kitchen and table to enjoy some board games.Long walks and bodyboarding enjoyed by all.

The Barn is a beautiful cottage set in beautiful surroundings in Croyde. We couldn't have asked for a more suitable place for our daughter to get ready for her wedding day! Will always be special to us. A special thank you to Vicky who was so helpful when we had to postpone the wedding from June to September! Allowing us to change our dates and making it possible for us to get in a little early than expected that really meant a lot . Thank you xx we had the most amazing weekend xx
