This is a family run hotel, with unique decoration, including hand-wrought ironwork and 1970 tiles. Every detail for the guests' comfort has been thought of, and carefully carried out. The owners are charming and the terrace and individual balconies outside of most rooms give you a wonderful view of the mountains. I'll be going back!

Stronger espresso

Off street parking, full amenities in the room (stove, fridge, kitchenette with dishes). Friendly staff, quiet building, easy to access location.

The price is fair, host are really professional, room was clean.

My only concern is that I had a room by the road so I could hear cars. That would not be a problem for someone who has not a light sleep. It is not too noisy, but a bit. So if you have a light sleep, book a room on the other side.

QR-code for wifi failed on all 3 smart devices. name of wifi signal (printed on paper) never appeared in search results of signals, either. after 5 minutes went downstairs to get help, where owner accused all 3 advices of being broken, in a dismissive way, without researching issue first. then, he looked at my device and pointed to a wifi signal, which was NOT the one printed on the paper in my room. the mattress was so old and used by so many guests that on both sides there were "valleys" and I couldn't sleep in the middle. the traffic on the main road, (5 meters in front of property) was deafening. motorcycles, lorry trucks, tourists from all over europe etc. day and night. I couldn't sleep at all. next morning I packed and decided to leave before end of reservation. at the reception I explained the mattress and noise problem and the owner just asked "did you close the window?". owner got angry, impatient then turned around and walked away. he gave a rude and aggressive order to his business partner to talk to me, deal with me, waving his hand in the air. I was charged for BOTH nights. the owner blaming it on booking.com I left this "motel from hell" feeling like a banana peeling on the asphalt after someone stepped on it. been a world traveller since age 5, frequently work abroad and on booking.com since 2014, never seen anything like this.
