Casa Colibri was the perfect villa for our group of 6 adults and 3 children. It had high ceilings and large, flowing common areas so that our group could have fun together but also space for privacy. The villa was surrounded by well-maintained greenery, the pool and terrace were lovely, and the area was very quiet. Playa Minitas was only a 5-minute golf cart ride away. Most importantly, the staff - the fantastic butler, Junior; the wonderful chef, Wilson; and the nice housekeeper, Liza - made our stay extra special. The meals at the villa were our favorite of the stay! The friendly property manager, Sam, also made communication and all arrangements very easy. We would definitely recommend this villa and staff to others!

The house was wonderful for our family of 7 . Beautiful , plenty of room plus extras such as a pool table and a movie room . The staff was outstanding . Our butler , Eddie was a joy , helpful and a delight to be with . The housekeeper volunteered to do our personal laundry and offered to unpack our clothes .Food preparation was fantastic . Sam and Bianca , the administrative contacts , were exceptionally eager to make our stay as perfect as possible . My husband was uncomfortable with our mattress . The. next day , we had a new mattress . That is just an example of the lengths that they went to make our stay memorable . We want to thank everyone for making our celebration of my husband’s 80th birthday a most memorable week .

Everything was perfect. Service was beyond. Food was amazing. House was beautiful and clean. Chef and butler were fabulous. Sam was very available and awesome. It was truly perfect in every way.

Where do I begin? Our stay was unforgettable! Samuel and staff were amazing!! I hosted a dinner while at the house and everything was taken care of expertly and meticulously. Also on arrival our son became sick. They called a doctor and got us medicine that was needed while the staff made tea and soup to nurse him back to health. Its such a luxury to be able to go away and feel like you are at home and that's what it felt like for us. Thank you for taking such great care of us!!

Casa Colibri was the perfect place for our recent Casa de Campo stay. The house is professionally run like a luxury hotel (so clean and comfortable, with fun little details) and the staff is absolutely incredible! Eddy, the butler, is simply wonderful, so warm and accommodating, especially with the kids, and helping ensure that our stay exceeded all our expectations. Chef Wilson's food is delicious - which allowed staying in to rival any culinary experience from going out to a local restaurant (SPG, Minitas Beach Club, Limoncello). Esperanza is so sweet and detail oriented, helping unpack, clean, wash and anything else needed. And Roberto works wonders in the pool and yard. Working with Samuel throughout the booking, arrival and departure processes really elevated the whole experience. He is so professional and incredibly responsive, always providing detailed information to help us prepare for our trip. Lastly, the house was absolutely perfect. The movie theater room and pool table provided the perfect entertainment whenever the weather prevented us from enjoying the beautiful yard, pool and (heated) spa. Luxe Haus is the real deal. We'll definitely only be booking through them when we return.

Sam, Eddy, Russell and entire staff were fabulous. Next time we will not back as much and eat more at home……Food was better then any restaurant on Casa. Esperanza did laundry everyday so no need to overpack. Highly recommend this property when visiting Casa.

From start to finish, our vacation here was amazing. Sam and Eddy handled all of our needs over the course of our stay and the house was perfect.

I’ve been going to casa de Campo my entire life. I grew up in the Dominican Republic. This has has the most amazing staff. Every single person from the grander to the property manager was extremely accommodating and took care of every single one of our needs. I got sick during my stay and Eddie and the chef took amazing care of me. I honestly feel they treated us like family more than guests. Forever grateful!!!

We just arrived home to Ohio this evening and we are all so sad to be home. We had the BEST vacation ever at LAGOS 36. First, Samuel, is absolutely amazing! This was our first time to CDC and he was so terrific. He handled EVERYTHING for us, from transportation to and from the airport, to excursions, to menu prep, to grocery shopping, answering my million questions, to spending 2 hours at our villa on a Friday night so my teens could watch a hockey game, the list is endless..... AND then there is Eddie our AMAZING butler and the best chef on the island, Juan Julio. Both are terrific. The boys ( 4, 16year olds ) talked about Eddie and Juan Julio the entire flight/drive home. Juan Julio can make anything you ask him too. He is so friendly and accommodating, it truly is unbelievable. Esperanza is also TERRIFIC. She is also so friendly and kind. We had clean clothes before 9:00 am every morning, the bathrooms and rooms were spotless by the time breakfast was complete. PLEASE stay at LAGOS 36 if you are planning a trip to CDC. You will not be disappointed!

The house is even better than the pictures show! Perfect location close to the beach and truly the best house we’ve stayed at in CDC! Everything was so clean- yard was beautiful! Eddy, Esperanza, and Wilson were wonderful. They took care of everything we needed and more. Samuel was also so helpful and communicated wonderfully. We will absolutely be back- can’t imagine staying anywhere else!

We were so happy to have holidays in your house! 2020 was a very special year , but we ended it in the most perfect place ! We feeled very safe in Casa de Campo! The location of the house, the staff that pampered us, the excellent meals, the nice garden and ideal swimming pool for the kids, the beach ... what a perfection! The House was more beautiful than the photos and the staff was extraordinary. As previous villa owners in CDC we had no idea what to expect when renting and we were very pleasantly surprised by the five star lux service. The staff could not do enough for us and any issue we had was immediately taken care of by the house manager. The chef was amazing and made us beautiful, creative and delicious meals and snacks. We loved our vacation and already can not wait to return!

We loved our time here! The whole staff was so welcoming and helpful during our entire stay. We had four young children at the villa and they had the time of their lives with all the attention and fun that the staff gave them. The villa is modern, comfortable and incredibly clean. I cannot say enough good things about our week there. My only suggestion would be to replace the shower heads in the two smaller bedrooms. They don't allow for a steady water stream when showering. Otherwise, it's a five star experience.

We recently stayed at Lagos 36. The property was beautiful and very clean. The staff was incredible. Eddy was amazing with my family (we have 3 small children). The house was spotless and the food was amazing. The beds were very comfortable and the house was spacious. The entire trip was perfect and we hope to return soon!

They provide a true luxury experience where you feel like royalty. They will help make reservations for restaurants, tours, and will do anything they can to make it an unforgettable experience. They cater and help you achieve whatever type of vacation you are looking for. Lagos 36 was very modern and kept very clean. We stayed with two families and had plenty of room. I cannot say enough wonderful things about the people. The chef is phenomenal. I am a big foodie and I would rather stay and eat what the chef prepared compared to the restaurants that are available. He will cater to whatever type of cuisine or diet you would like or prefer. The villa is pristine, there are always pool towels, and the cleaning staff makes sure you do not have any dirty laundry in your hamper. Eddie is great. He is there to make sure you always have a smile on your face, a drink in your hand, and a full stomach. Everybody treats you like family. From the minute you walk in there is somebody there ready to help unpack your clothes, put a cold drink in your hand, and provide you with as little or as much service and care as you desire. Mr. Phillipe went above and beyond what anyone could expect in providing a five star luxury vacation.

This was our 5th time to visit Casa de Campo. We have always had incredible experiences and this one is at the top of the list. Lagos 36 is an amazingly beautiful home that is more incredible in person than in the pictures. It is very close to the beach and the golf carts are brand new. This pristine home is made even better by the amazing staff. Eddy (butler), Jose (chef) and Esperanza (housekeeper) were absolutely amazing. Eddy attended to our every need, Jose prepared the most beautiful and delicious meals and Esperanza kept the house spotless and our laundry clean at all times. When we left, my youngest daughter cried because she did not want to leave Eddy, Jose and Esperanza. Finally, Richard, the owner, is a consummate gentleman, a joy to work with and very responsive. Don't think twice...book this home.
