The location on the island was hard to beat, and Nikki was very easy to work with. Our family loved the walk out patio and the casual vibe of the unit - perfect for the beach. We hope to go back!

We had a great stay at this property. The patio on the board walk had comfortable seating and dining options. There were a ton of beach toys, chairs, paddle boards, and other water toys that we enjoyed thoroughly on the bay beach directly in front of the house. Our kids enjoyed all the seashells on the beach as well as seeing crabs, sand dollars, star fish, sea lions, and other marine life. The location is ideal for enjoying all the island has to offer as well as a short walk to the ferry to enjoy the Fun Zone and peninsula activities. The house was clean and spacious for our family and our kids loved the bunk bed room! We had a couple plumbing issues at the beginning of our stay, but the property manager, Nikki, was extremely responsive and made sure the issues were fixed in a timely manner. She even continued to check in with us after everything was resolved to make sure the rest of our stay continued to go smoothly. We're definitely planning on returning in the future!

Property was fabulous - could not have a better vacation. We have stayed on the island for years but this is the best house we’ve rented. Nikki is a wonderful host and so responsive. The house had everything we needed and we loved our stay!

We loved sitting outside watch the boats go by and enjoying the nice weather. The house has paddle boards to use. It was fun being able to access the water every easily. The house looks like it was recently remodeled. Everything worked great!

Location was perfect for relaxing. beach time, lots of walks and close to Marine for groceries and ice cream.

Location was amazing. House was comfortable but I would not suggest 8 people for sleeping. House manager was great to deal with

So we booked this last minute for a last hoorah before my husband shoulder surgery. You couldn't get a better location walking to all the shopping and restaurants. It was Halloween weekend and boy does Balboa go all out!! The place is decorated so well. They have paddle boards, kayak everything you need. Unfortunately it was a very quick trip so we didn't get to utilize them. Nikki was great to deal with and was quick to answer any questions. The only down fall is the parking but if you know Balboa you are already aware of that. Totally worth it and we will be back to stay when we can stay longer,

This property has an ideal location on Balboa Island! Walking distance to the town, and stunning views of the harbor.

Stayed at this house on Balboa Island while attending the Newport Beach Jazz Festival. Very comfortable. But be sure to have a tall person in your group to adjust the master shower head & use the microwave! Great location.

Nikki was great to communicate with, location to Marine St. was close enough for several daily trips to the local market that had excellent produce. Water access and paddle boards were a hit! We will stay here again.

A+ Location. This was the perfect spot for mom to relax on the patio and read, while my younger son played on the sand and my older son and his friend walked to the shops, restaurants, and the Fun Zone. We loved the Jenga and corn hole. Used the boogie boards and paddle boards every day. Having these provided made everything so easy. Also, my kids loved having a great tv with all of the apps to watch their favorite movies on. However, be warned: if you have a short stay, this won’t matter, but since we stayed for 7 nights it mattered. 1) The mattresses are horrible. If you’re there for 2 nights, it doesn’t matter. After a long term stay we ALL felt it. I would recommend the owners upgrade- it will make such a difference. 2) You can hear everything upstairs. Again, for 2 nights you wouldn’t care. For a long term stay it was annoying. The upstairs renters can’t help it, but when they got up at 5 or 6 am with their dog, we heard every single step.

House is in a great location, and lots of supplies including paper plates, etc and lots of extra towels. Property manager communicated well and responded immediately to our needs. We had a great time and will be back.

House was great, clean and everything as described. I’m pretty pickie and OCD and this house was the bomb. Highly recommended. Owner/manager was great and so easy to deal with.

We usually get a rental either on the peninsula or Laguna so this was the first time on the island for us. We have walked by this unit and taken pictures of it before so we were excited and we will hopefully never say anywhere else moving forward. The close proximity to the shops and beachfront on top of how cute it is inside absolutely knocked our socks off!!!

We wanted to getaway and zoom school/work from a beach house location and found the perfect place. The owner was fantastic and went out of her way to accommodate us when we had a couple of hiccups when checking in. The house was adorable, comfortable and perfect location. We would stay there again!
